2-Star Hotels in Qinghai, China

This hostel is clean but location is a bit hard to find . There is coffee shop on the reception and nice roof top for your recreation. All amenities is okay with free towels, sheet and linen . A lot of cheap restaurants surrounding .

The room is very good, with a large space, separate wet and dry areas, and a good location. There are RT-Mart and Haoxianglai downstairs, and there are many restaurants. It only takes 8 yuan to get to the train station by taxi.

The environment is very good, and the overall atmosphere is also good. It is cleaned every day, and the room is quiet and I slept very well. The public space in the lobby on the first floor is very spacious, bright and comfortable, with a super large TV screen, and it feels especially good to watch movies [Celebration] There are singing facilities, and it is a small live concert when it is opened! There is a super cool Scottish Fold cat Qian Duoduo and 3 little kittens. The ladies who like furry children can rush [grin][grin][grin] The boss is super nice, often caring, and has the warmth of home. The key is that Brother Liang’s cooking level is super high. It is a paradise for foodies haha. I will come to this restaurant next time!

Literally minutes away from the railway station and the main bus terminal. Room is spacious with lots of storage space. Hot shower works well. Wifi is average speed at around 10mbps (slower when using VPN). Plenty of eateries nearby. Buffet breakfast was ok and filling with decent choices. Only issues are the elevators being super slow and found some hairs in the room (cleanliness issue).

You don’t have to go out to watch the sunrise and sunset. You can go directly to the fifth floor platform of the hotel. The view is unobstructed. It is the best place to watch the sunrise and sunset of Qinghai Lake. You can also go directly to the lake to play in the water (you have to pass through the protective net) ). The hotel is large, clean and tidy. Compared with another B&B in Qinghai Lake that I stayed in the day before, which is called light luxury, that one is just a simple farmer's house. Friends who are around the lake should not consider other so-called B&Bs and just choose this one. Can

Location was really good, just near the train station and a bus stop going to train station and Kumbum Monastery, but it's quite hard to find at night especially it's in a dark alley. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, when I stayed, the water was on and off (mostly off) ― some people had to call the staff to turn it on. And that made the toilet unusable as well!

**The Good:** **Renovated Room** – The room appeared to be recently updated with modern furnishings. **Decent Location** – Just a few blocks from the Monastery, making it convenient for sightseeing. **The Negatives:** **Strong Cigarette Smell** – Despite the renovation, there was a lingering odor of smoke in the room, which was unpleasant. **Poor Bathroom Design** – The shower area has no separation, so water splashes everywhere, leaving the entire bathroom floor wet after each use.

We came here for tourism. We saw good reviews online and chose this hotel. However, we were very surprised when we checked in. The hotel facilities are complete. As soon as we walked in, we felt clean. The front desk was friendly. The location is also very good. The environment is also very good. The lighting is good. The room has sunshine all day long. It is very good.

The room was great, with a great view. It didn't have a private bathroom, but the shared bathroom was clean. If there were a lot of people, you'd have to wait a while. The bed was very relaxing and comfortable!

Nice room with view from neighborhood. It's 30min walk from downtown but there are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. I was the only guest during the 4 nights I was there, so not much of an atmosphere despite the nice social areas. The heating system (underfloor) works only in the night so it's a bit chill during the day. There are hot showers and possibly of doing laundry (10yuan a load).
