It's located about a 4-minute walk from the south exit of Kannai Station, so it's very accessible. There's also a drugstore right in front and a convenience store nearby. Check-in is until 11pm. I checked in after 10pm after the concert. The second floor is for women only, and the third floor is for men. It's new and clean. The first floor is the front desk and also a Vietnamese restaurant. After checking in, you put your shoes in a locker and take your slippers and other amenities to the booth with the number you were given. There were about five toilets and shower booths each, and they were clean and easy to use. The sleeping area was comfortable and spacious enough to turn over in. I slept really well until the morning.

You can park for free, but it’s a bad land parking lot, which should be dirtier if it rains. There are also not many parking spaces, about twenty or so, if you get there too late, there will be no space. There is another large bath on the first floor for men only, not for women. Just like a regular business hotel, affordable, quiet. Friendly service at the front desk.

A wonderful experience at Asante Inn in Hakone This stay at Asante Inn in Hakone was full of surprises! The Japanese-style garden is full of Japanese Zen, and it is super beautiful to take pictures. The owner is enthusiastic and fluent in English. The African artworks in the store are unique and come from his African experience. The stories are super interesting. Staying in dorm, you will meet travelers from all over the world. The atmosphere is good, and the price is 1200 yen per night, which is very cost-effective. Breakfast and dinner are about 1200 yen, and they are delicious and authentic. You can also make an appointment for private time to soak in the hot springs, which is private and comfortable. There is also a luggage transportation service at Yumoto Station, which is super considerate. I sincerely recommend coming here to experience a different Hakone trip!

It is very close to the station and Hasedera Temple. But it feels like the only advantage. The dormitory has an iron bed without even a bed curtain. Not only is it very noisy, but the mattress is also very thin. It feels like you are sleeping directly on the iron frame, and you feel very uncomfortable when you wake up. I have to wait until all my roommates come back before I can turn off the lights and go to bed. Unfortunately, the last person to come back last night didn’t even turn off the lights, which disturbed my sleep. The toilet was not very clean and had moths. This is probably the worst youth hostel experience. I feel like the business owner doesn't run the business with any care. Most services require additional charges, such as toothbrushes, towels, slippers and luggage storage.

My flight from KL landed earlier by 20 minutes. Once I got my luggage, I took an airport taxi to the hotel. It took just 10 minutes to get from Haneda T3, there was no traffic. Arrived at the hotel at about 10:40pm. Upon arrival, the night duty attendant checked me in. It was a very quick process, showed me my room, gave me wifi password, etc and that was it. Although the Hotel is only a 21-room hotel, where room size ranges between 158 sq ft to 355 sq ft, it is very well compensated by the hotel and hotel room’s cleanliness, attentive service and polite and proactive staff. Scherry, the Duty Manager, is a gem and is very knowledgeable of the area. She has given me tips on how to go around the neighbourhood, where to get food, and how to get to the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal, efficiently and cheaply. So of you are planning to visit Tokyo and needed a hotel to stay close to Haneda airport (without breaking your bank balance) and before moving on to your next destination, like a cruise or further afield, I highly recommend that you try and stay at Hotel Imalle and look for Scherry. I am pretty sure she will look after you.

I stayed for 2 nights on the typhoon day, but the room was surprisingly large and clean. It was very quiet because it was a corner room, and I couldn't hear the corridor or the sound next door. １ The sauna on the floor was a complaint, but it was a pity that I didn't use it because I was back late at night.

Alone, man... It's really super economical if you travel alone or on business. The bath...the rest room...the clean capsule room...all very good. One thing... remember to change your pajamas when you go in, the hotel provides.

The location was about a km away from Kowakidani Sta. Not really far but the recommended path by Google Maps (at least to me) was along the mountain highway. It was rainy and i was walking alone at night. I sometimes pass by vehicles on the road 🥲 I was late for checkin (past 22:00) so I had my Japanese friend call the hostel. They said it's okay to come until 23:00 as the hostel cafe is also open until then. The bedspace in the mixed dorm was spacious enough and the ladder for the upper beds was sturdy. *The restroom in the main hostel is better maintained than the one in the annex. The hostel restaurant is very nice and they let me stay for a bit after checkout as the rain was pouring that day. The owner's dog is named Rum 🥹
