4-Star Hotels in Liaoning, China

Hotels in Dalian are indeed cheaper during the off-season. I chose one based on Trip.com's recommendation, and the customer service reached out half a day beforehand to confirm my check-in time. They even allowed an early check-in since a room was available, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hotel boasts modern facilities, including a projector. It was rainy during my stay, so watching movies on the big screen in the hotel was incredibly enjoyable. The front desk also provided umbrellas. There are many popular attractions around the hotel, and Zhongshan Square is just an 800-meter walk away. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, and you could grab water freely from the front desk. They also offered coffee and honey water upon request. The laundry room on the first floor was very comfortable. Kudos to all the staff for their excellent service!

This was my first time in Dandong, and I stayed in the all-river-view room at the Zhonglian Hotel. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Yalu River Broken Bridge, just across the road. The view is absolutely number one! The hotel is an established four-star, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's worth staying a night just for this view. The river-view rooms come with binoculars, which are handy for looking at the country across the river. If you're on a higher floor, you can see quite clearly with the naked eye, even without binoculars. The hotel service was good, and breakfast was Chinese-style. The main highlight of your stay absolutely has to be that magnificent view from the large window.

Huge thanks to Jenny Kim at the front desk for her thoughtful service, and to Rena for helping me extend my stay. The manager on my first day was also incredibly nice and professional (she was wearing a long red coat in winter); she helped carry my luggage up to the room and gave me a comprehensive overview of the hotel. Very professional! My experience this time at JEN was so much better, perhaps because I arrived too early on my last visit. Most importantly, they turned on the air conditioning!

This hotel is perfectly located right next to Zhongjie Pedestrian Street. The lobby is on the 26th floor. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and afternoon tea is from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. It was a great choice for a family trip. It's very close to the Shenyang Imperial Palace and Zhangshi Ancestral Temple, both just a 15-minute walk away. The hotel's amenities are high-end, including a 24-hour gym, a clean laundry room, and smart robots for convenient deliveries. The modern service system is excellent, with quick responses. They also recommend local tourist routes, which is a nice touch. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and I'll definitely be back!

The hotel's service was really on point, especially considering the price, they even have a laundry room and fitness facilities. The room was quite spacious, and the best part is there's a supermarket right outside, which is incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a pretty comfortable stay. If you don't have extremely high expectations, it's definitely worth checking out.

This hotel on Shenyang's Middle Street has excellent facilities and amenities. Its location is superb, right on Middle Street, making everything incredibly convenient. There's free parking available directly accessing the upper floors, which is very handy. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The front desk is staffed 20 hours a day. Bottled water is complimentary and unlimited. Invoices are electronic and can be processed via mobile phone at the front desk. Check-in and check-out were very professional, quick, and efficient. The location is truly fantastic, with a prominent entrance. On the 9th or 26th floor (the original text says 9:26, likely a typo for '9楼和26楼' or '9楼/26楼'), there's an observation deck where you can enjoy the night view of Middle Street, complete with telescopes – a really nice touch. Highly recommended, very satisfied, truly excellent, I will definitely come back!

I was traveling with my elderly father, who has some mobility issues, and he walks slowly. When we got off the bus at the passenger terminal, we saw the Northeast Asia Hotel right across the street. I immediately thought the location was perfect! When we went in to check in, a young lady at the front desk saw me helping my father and quickly came out from behind the counter with a stool for him to sit on. She also thoughtfully brought us two bottles of water. After she finished the check-in process, instead of giving us a high-floor room, she assigned us a low-floor one, which was more convenient for elevator access and getting in and out. The next day, when we checked out, she even opened the main door for us and advised us to take our time walking as there were steps near the passenger terminal. This young lady's service was truly excellent; she deserves a five-star rating! The room was also fantastic: clean, spacious, and odor-free.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and easy access to dining, entertainment, and shopping. The lobby immediately impressed me with its luxurious ambiance, and the cleanliness was impeccable. My room was fully equipped, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. A special shout-out goes to Mengmeng at the front desk! Her service attitude was truly exceptional. She had a constant smile from check-in, spoke softly, and patiently answered all my questions about local attractions. This feeling of being right at home was wonderful. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

Atour hotels consistently maintain excellent hygiene and provide great service. I particularly love their 'late-night congee' offering—complimentary supper is such a thoughtful touch. Most importantly, the location of this particular Atour Rose hotel is fantastic. It's right in the heart of Zhongjie Street, which means I can pop back to my room for a rest anytime while I'm out exploring the area. Plus, it's very close to the Imperial Palace; I didn't have to walk far at all. During holidays, traffic nearby can be terrible, making public transport quite inconvenient, so staying here is perfect. If you'd like a view, you can opt for a street-view room and catch a glimpse of Zhongjie Street.

Definitely giving Dalian Guoshi Hotel a full five stars! The value for money is absolutely incredible. For its location right in the city center at Zhongshan Square, the price is unbeatable and much more affordable than similar hotels nearby. The subway is right outside, and there are tons of restaurants, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water was instant. The bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. You can cast your screen to the TV to watch shows, there are plenty of charging outlets, and all the disposable amenities are provided – thoughtful details everywhere. The front desk staff were genuinely friendly and efficient with check-ins and check-outs, always ready to help. This is my top pick for business trips or vacations to Dalian. You get a comfortable, excellent room without breaking the bank. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely book here again next time!
