Many amenities nearby the hotel. Food, convenient shops, massage parlour, cafes... easily accessible. Room is clean and tidy. Easy check in and check out process. No hassle.
Walaupun bilik tak besar sangat dan takde tingkap pun, kira ok sangat dah dengan harga

This is my 5th? 6th? time staying at Atelier. They are my top choice as I always have business at Pelangi. This time, I tried booking the Junior Suite, an upgrade from my usual SQ/SK option. Specially for their bathtub as I needed a nice mental break.
However, I noticed the bathtub does not even fill. It drains as quickly as it fills so that not only waste a lot of water, it doesn't even fill beyond 10cm of water. It was such a shame I looked forward to enjoying this amenity. The toilet drains really slowly also at one point I panicked because i thought it will flood.
All other amenities were amazing. Aircon, bed, tv, perfect. I had an amazing stay I didn't want to go out after my business appointment. I just stayed in and ordered takeout meals.
I love Atelier!!! Please consider fixing the bathtub plug so will waste less water and enhance bathtub experience.

The location is excellent. Near supermarket and restauranta. So convenient and close to everything I needed,
The room was clean but its quite small. Friendly staff and you can do your self check in. So easy.
Considering the very reasonable rate, this hotel offers great value for money.
The Deluxe King room is large and comfortable and more space than the standard room. It also has a large toilet/shower. There is no bin the toilet, had to use the one bin in the bedroom. There are some amenities such as toothbrushes and soap but hidden in a small black tray in the corner of the long table below the TV, under the mineral bottles. If room is not bright because the curtains are not fully drawn, you would miss it which happened to my group. We booked 4 rooms and none of us knew there were toothbrushes provided, some of us went out to buy. One of us only discovered the existence of the tray the next day! Also, there are 2 TV controls and no instructions on the back of the controls nor in the room on how to operate the controls; one is for switching tv on/off only and one for controlling channels/sound. Had to approach the counter staff who then came into the room to explain. It would be much more pleasant experience if the counter staff just give a mention about where these things or how to work them at the time we were checking-in, and Before we have to ask. On the Sat night, there was some disco music playing from a distance away where the sound is not audible but the base beat-by-beat vibrations could be felt in the air even though all the windows were shut and locked down, and this went on the WHOLE night and gave me a poor sleep. I was surprised why this happened as I chose this hotel because many reviews from guests say the Milano hotel has good sound-proof rooms. I later discovered gaps in my windows even when they are shut and the gaps are not filled-up/sealed in room 208! Thankfully, the horrible music did not play on the Sunday night. I could put up with the other inconveniences which are minor, but if there were to be sound disturbances throughout the night, having the gaps in the windows was disappointing. Positive side, I like the availability of water to top up our tumbler at the front office area, besides the 2 bottles of mineral water in the room.

This stay, as always, did not disappoint, maintaining its excellent service quality. From the front desk reception to the room cleanliness and overall environment, everything felt comfortable and reassuring. The staff were friendly and handled requests promptly, making for a very smooth check-in experience. The location is convenient and the price is reasonable. Every time I visit, I can count on a consistent standard, making it a hotel I will continue to choose for future stays.

The room was very clean, and the owner's design was thoughtful. They even had an electric mosquito repellent device outside the room (though I still recommend bringing an extra one, as I did encounter some mosquitoes). You can tell if the bathroom is occupied by the light. If you're taking a taxi, the location might feel a bit remote, but there's actually a gas station with a convenience store just a short walk away.
Considering the low price, this is truly excellent.
However, there are a few things to note: doing laundry costs 7 MYR per cycle, and air conditioning is 13 MYR per day. Also, since the entire building is single-story, there's still a possibility of encountering small insects like ants in the room.
Can see the cleaners hard at work to keep the place sparkling clean, though the bedsheet seems abit yellowish and towel railings rusty. Maybe time to upgrade fittings. They have a sitting area where u can grt free drinks (milo, coffee etc) from dispenser machine.

The hotel staff are friendly and ready to attend to your request. The room has aircon and instant water heater for shower. There is WiFi in the room. It provides kettle, ironing board and iron, shampoo and bath soap, small fridge and bath towels. Complimentary tea and coffee and bottled water daily. The window has blackout curtain as well as a day curtain for extra sunlight into the room. Seating area, big mirror and dressing table, TV, side table and lamp.
I like it that the room is spacious and water pressure is good. It provides Muslim prayer mat and Quran translation in the room. Hang the card at your door if you want the room to be cleaned. Short walk to Larkin bus terminal and eateries and shops. For those who drive, there is parking space within the hotel.

The room was tiny and looked nothing like the pictures. There weren't even any hangers. The location is very remote, with absolutely no shops or restaurants nearby. It's a long walk from the back of the train station. I'd recommend staying at a hotel closer to the train station exit, as that area is very lively with plenty of dining options. The Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple and Johor Ancient Temple are there, and it's just another ten-minute walk to Jalan Tan Hiok Nee. Remember to choose a hotel in the opposite direction from this one for a more vibrant area – it's only a five-minute walk from the station. This hotel was a bit overpriced. I later switched to another hotel that was much larger and cheaper, though they didn't provide bottled water.

AAnonymous UserThe stay was great, but I hope the male receptionist will smile next time. He scared me; I'm just a student. He's too serious. A smile would be nice.
AAnonymous UserH3 hotel is a budget hotel in Yong Peng. The accommodation is comfortable, cleanliness acceptable.
⭕ car parking space provided.
❌ no electric kettle, no lift(quite a problem if the room is on the higher floor).

I recently stayed at Hako Hotel (Taman Universiti) in Skudai and had a pleasant experience overall. The standout feature is definitely the bed; it was exceptionally comfy, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of traveling. The room layout is modern and efficient, making the most of the space.
Regarding the facilities, I really appreciated the water dispenser provided in the lobby, which is a convenient and eco-friendly touch for refilling bottles. Parking was also completely stress-free, as there are ample parking lots available right around the building. My only minor critique would be the toilet cleanliness, which I found to be average—it wasn’t dirty, but it could definitely benefit from a more thorough deep clean to match the high standard of the bedroom. Overall, it is a great, value-for-money choice for a short stay in Skudai!
AAnonymous UserWent with 4 kids. House big enough. 3 bedrooms.
Master room was big and spacious. With a floor mattress. a king size bed and attached toilet.
2 common bedrooms. 1 room with a king/queen size bed and single size bed. The other room with 1 king/queen size bed.
Living room has a sofa bed. Possible for 1 pax to sleep comfortably.
Toilet looks old. And master bedroom toilet has an odour. Quite bad. No complains about sound. But heard one or two loud door slams only which i thought is okay because it happens at home as well. The wind, the kids, accidentally. Neighbours seems good. No noise from them and don't even bump into any. But from each room cannot hear each other.
Morning around 530am will hear the morning prayers from one of the common bedroom that has 2 beds. The other rooms didnt hear it or perhaps deep asleep. Haha. And another prayer session around 430pm afternoon. Last about 30min. If very tired should be able to fall back to zzz again. My kids did.
Towel has a smell. But we don't use as we use to bringing our own towels.
I like that there is security counter but not to deposit your luggage prior check in. Anything just ask them and check in is very smooth. Instructions from owner was very clear and direct. Less than 5 min to check in. Early check in allowed at a charge if there's no guest prior.
Very nice owners. Reply via whatsapp. And they provided small water bottles and coffee sachets. Quite surprise they do as most, doesn't provides. And a few trash bags .. good!
Overall the stay was ok as we only sleep there. No other activities.

GGuest UserCons: No locker provided; Not-welcoming receptionist; access card not working; roommate talking to the phone till midnight which was disturbing, earplugs given but ineffective to block noise; room door broken and couldn't lock; toilet was smelly and floor was always wet; some dirt on the table inside my cubicle; see-through blind; the dorm was probably meant for long-term working occupants as there were some weird rules.
Pros: walking distance to Komtar JBCC and CIQ; towel (dirty), toothbrush and earplugs (not useful) were provided; being the most effortable option at time of booking.
This was my first time staying in a capsule hostel. Honestly, it was a mixed and slightly negative experience but for a short rest it is still marginally acceptable.
