Stayed at Bayu View Hotel Melaka, a budget-
friendly hotel with a good location that made it convenient to get around.
The rooms were simple and cozy, providing the essentials for a short stay. Cleanliness was generally okay, but I did notice the bedsheets and towels were quite old and not very clean, which was a bit of a drawback.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated the water dispenser provided, which added convenience.
Overall, it’s a decent option for budget travelers who prioritize location and friendly service, though the hotel could improve by upgrading its linens and towels.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we had another pleasant experience. We chose a suite room on level 3, which we liked. It includes a small kitchen with basic cooking appliances and a medium-sized refrigerator. There’s also a two-seater sofa and a TV, which made the space more comfortable. Overall, we had a good stay.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful, all thanks to the administrator, Syahir. He came immediately after my call, explained everything, helped me with an adapter because my plug didn't fit, and assisted me with everything I asked for. I also liked that the hotel had a water cooler, so I didn't have to worry about water. Everything in the hotel is quite new, very clean, and everything works perfectly. I had no complaints about the quality of the room. It's only a 10-minute walk to the main street, which is very close. For this price, I'd give it five stars! You won't find a hotel of this quality at such a price.

Check-in was marred by hidden fees that I had to pay in addition to the room rate itself. There were 3 ringgit, which were mentioned during booking, and a 10 ringgit tourist tax that Trip.com didn't disclose. Lim, the manager at the reception desk, handled the unpleasant situation very professionally and tactfully, and I'm incredibly grateful to him for that.
The room itself was good, spacious, and clean, with fresh linen and towels.
On the downside:
There were small cockroaches, which, while tiny, were still unpleasant.
The complimentary water provided was awful and seemed to be just tap water. It was undrinkable due to its taste and smell.
Also, there was a continuous hum in the room, seemingly from a pump or battery, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
The location is a 15-minute walk from the historic street, which was acceptable for the price I paid – 40 ringgit plus 13 ringgit in tourist levies. However, the price increased on other days, and the room wasn't worth that higher cost.

I wouldn't book the room with no aircon, it was too hot! There is no reception desk that is open so you have to talk to someone on WhatsApp and give your tax etc, this meant there was nowhere secure that we could leave our bags, so I'd bear that in mind.
Location is quite far from centre, not walking distance, however a grab is only cheap (£1/2) to get there.
Was a clean place
The location of this inn is the centre city ( just-a walking distance to the big shopping mall)
Dataran Pahlawan & nearby eateries shops
The counter staff Mr kampiun is friendly & have a smiling face when ever we approached him .
Only the amenities / facility inside the room (A04) need to improve, like bath towel supply are very old & black / the shower curtain can’t cover up the full length , so the toilet floor will get wet when after a shower .
Honestly hoping to gate keep this hotel. Hotel Hong is a great choice if u re a down to earth person, who values a humbling short stay around Jonkers area. Location is walkable to Jonkers Street, just nice to keep u away from the noisiness of it for a good night rest - only if u re ok with paper thin, zero sound insulation walls. The room is compact, able to fit 2 pax but honestly just perfect for one. Aircond working well, if not there’s always the ceiling fan. The queen bed is comfy, towels are clean, water pressure is sufficient to rinse off shampoo for medium to long hair female, but no hair dryer to be found. Overall, the inside of the room and bathroom are clean, but not so much for the window parts, super dusty, and previous tenants clearly violates the no smoking rules as cigarette butts and undies were found threw away stuck on the window panes. Both room and bathroom have good natural day lights and ventilation, but it can attract a bit of mosquitoes if left open. Furnitures are old and worn out, still good enuf to accommodate a few days of stay. Plus, room air re freshener not working as well. And, the bathroom shelves were horrible slanted - couldn’t place toiletries without it fallen off. Although, it s located opposite the mosque, the call of prayer wasnt as much of a sound annoyance compared to the paper thin room walls. The bed head is situated against the wall of the next room which sadly is the bathroom, hence you can hear every flush, water pipe turns happening next door.
Best of all, the aunty at the receptionist is the greatest, super accommodating, easy- going and friendly. Psst, theres an upstairs hangout area sorta like a rooftop, nice for a chill calm night, keep the rowdiness at Jonkers. Dont expect a VIP treatment, make the bed services. This is humble hotel, value for money stay that should only be appreciated by like minded travellers.
The hotel's exterior looks decent, and the location is about 1km from the attractions, a walkable distance – neither too close nor too far. There's a large shopping mall and supermarket nearby. However, the interior hygiene leaves much to be desired; the towels were a bit yellowed, and the bedsheets and duvet covers had some stubborn stains that wouldn't wash out. The price was indeed cheap, though.
It's mostly good and the price was very attractive. There is no lift only the stairs. The room was very clean, it has a kettle and 2 mugs. There is a TV but no fridge. There are coolers on the floors. There was a door to the next room and one night ( about 11.30 pm) someone was tugging at the door very loudly. Luckily I made sure it was locked from my side. That was scary. The main problem is the location, it's really far from historical part but it's quiet. Taxi is cheap on weekdays, but at weekends prices are doubling and the traffic is bad. There is a cheap supermarket, Pizza hut and laundrette in the same building, KFC is very close. It's hard to evaluate the service as there is no cleaning in the rooms in Malaysia, there is nobody at the reception, it's self check in and check out ( as a foreigner I didn't have a self check in)

Great
TTiya TanOverall, this hotel is clean and comfortable. Here's what I liked:
- The room had carpet, but it was clean and odor-free.
- I really liked that the room had plenty of lighting! Usually, most hotels have very dim lighting in the rooms.
- Regarding soundproofing, even though it's by the roadside, I couldn't hear any car or motorcycle noise at all! However, you can hear the vacuum cleaner when housekeeping is cleaning.
- Parking was easy to find.
- The shower pressure was great.
- The air conditioning was cold enough.
I'll definitely be staying here again next time! ✌
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.

Was a clean place
GGuest UserIt's very close to Jonker Street, just across a bridge. However, I was misled by the photos; I thought there was a public pool when it's actually located within a luxury suite. Still, the shower and toilet were quite convenient, and the overall place was clean.
GGuest UserView from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located and offers good value for the price. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Room cleanliness was better than average, and the mattress was comfortable with a clean bed. The lobby was clean, welcoming, and offered complimentary hot water and snacks, which was a nice touch.

CChalkgrrlSince we were arriving late and staying only a few nights, I choose this hotel due to it’s location at one end of Jonker Street. Location was as described and best of all, the actual rooms were in the back of the hotel (reception was the front side facing the street), so we had restful nights / no excessive noise from the street. In the lobby there was also a water fountain with filtered hot and cold water.
The room itself was pretty big but basic an clean. There was a kettle, 2 bottles of water, 2 sachet of coffee, a desk area with chair and mirror, a rack to hang clothes and 1 side had a night stand. But please note there was no TV. We don’t really watch television while traveling so it was not an issue but it might be for some.
Only slight downsides was the aircon was not that strong but and the water in the shower never really heated up that much.
GGuest UserHave a bad experience here .
Wall soundproofing was so bad , the room next to mine baby cry whole night and even the phone msg sound and call also can clearly hear . Aircon explode the ice out at the midnight ...
but with this price , nothing can be complain again .
