I recently stayed at Hotel 98 in Kuching for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by how well it caters to business travelers. The location is central and convenient, with easy access to major offices, eateries, and even a nearby pharmacy and convenience stores — ideal when you’re on a tight schedule. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with reliable Wi-Fi and a comfortable desk setup — perfect for catching up on emails or preparing for meetings. Check-in and check-out were fast and efficient, which I appreciated after long working days. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions or logistics. Despite being a boutique hotel, it provides excellent value and everything a business traveler needs for a smooth and productive stay. Highly recommended for solo business travelers or work trips to Kuching — practical, quiet, and professionally run.

Book the time to go to the sister's funeral, the room we can get is clean and the amenities provided are quite good. This hotel is located close to the road but not noisy. Very recommend because the service is the best. TQ

I had an overall pleasant experience during my stay at this hotel. The property was very clean, and the bed provided excellent comfort, ensuring a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the sense of safety within the hotel, which contributed greatly to a worry-free stay. The location is another strong point, as it is situated in the city and conveniently close to restaurants, shopping malls, and popular attractions. This made getting around both easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the staff were consistently friendly and professional, which created a welcoming atmosphere. One area that could be improved is the check-in procedure. At present, the process requires the identity card of the person who made the booking. This can be inconvenient in cases where a reservation is made on behalf of family or friends as a surprise. Allowing check-in using the booking number or the guest’s name would provide a smoother and more flexible arrival experience. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel, with the hope that such enhancements to the check-in process can be considered in the future.

The room and toilet is good, however the air conditioning is too old and it is slow to reduce the temperature inside the room. Nevertheless, the hotel reception is responsive by calling and offer to switch the room.

I love this small town. Tranquil, serene and peaceful. Compact town almost everything can be found in 1 place, administration, banks, food, night market, etc. But the streets are quite packed and busy no wonder bus terminal cannot be near this town. But I love this place, kinda wanna go here again. The hotel that I stay is old school hotel, but I loving it because it reminds me the old good day of the past

I love staying at this hotel due to its convenient location near supermarkets, malls, restaurants, etc. the room is comfortable besides its attentive staff.

Good place to stay. Easier to park our own car which is can view from room. Price suitable with room condition☺️ Luckily i bring out my own fabric freshener so can spray for buang bau asap rokok from previous customer i guess🥺 But i still love to stay here for next time  maybe

The location is very strategic, locating halfway between the airport & the city. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in was hassle-free and the receptionist was friendly. The room is spacious & clean (although there are some spots in the bathroom that needs extra attention). The air-conditioning is working well with comfortable beddings & pillows. The only thing that requires improvement will be the water pressure as it is much weaker than what I experienced during the last stay, hopefully the management can look into this issue.
