True budget hotel. Didn't expect much when booking but the pillows for me was an absolute nightmare. Can you not supply decent pillows ? Basic Ikea would have better ones ! Couldn't sleep properly and was awake for half of the night. Would not recommend staying there unless you bring your own pillow or prefer to sleep without one! Room waz clean though and location is really good.
it was a nice hotel to stay overall.
the only thing i did not like was cleaness because i found some dusts on the desk and the sink.
as per the staff, everyone was helpful and warm-welcoming.
and the breakfast is a bit expensive but worthwhile to pay for 49 zloty because all the food were fresh and delicious. it is good to have breakfast early in the morning if you have to be in a hurry such as catching a plane or train.
besides, the location is very convenient. there is a direct bus to wieliszka salt mine, which is quite far from the city center and stare miasto (the downtown's name in polish) is also close to go due to lots of trams connecting from the hotel. 😆😆
and i personally take into consideration about whether there are stairs even at the entrance due to a heavy suitcase. there are no stairs at the main entrance and 2 lifts are working very well, and no need to worry about bringing the room card key. 😁
and the given password is easy to remember and convenient to get in the room, which can help you travel light.
thus, i would like to strongly recommend staying here due to lots of benefits to travel in krakow.

Hostel Deco, nestled in Kraków's heart, offers prime access to attractions. The spotless rooms and shared spaces impressed me. The staff were friendly and helpful, enhancing my stay. Modern facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi, met all my needs. For budget travelers seeking comfort and convenience, this hostel is a gem in Kraków's crown.
Advantages: It takes 10 minutes to drive to the city center. There is an elevator in the hotel. The price is cheap. , 2-3 There is a shared kitchen on the floor, free or coffee , friendly staff .
Disadvantages: The room is small, the facilities are old, In the room Wi-Fi is poor. You need to use your own data. There is a half-staircase at the door to the reception. Large luggage is inconvenient, and the sound insulation is poor. No matter outside the window, outside the door or in the corridor The sound outside can be heard clearly, making it difficult to fall asleep at night
This youth hostel is in good overall performance, cost-effective, reasonable price, very suitable for backpackers. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the castle attractions, and there is a bus stop directly downstairs to the salt mine, which is very convenient. The accommodation was in good sanitation and the bathroom was clean and tidy, although located outside the room, and comfortable to use. The breakfast was satisfactory, with hot tea, coffee and milk, providing a good start to the day. However, the fly in the ointment is that there is no water dispenser in the Youth Hostel, and you need to go to the convenience store downstairs to buy bottled water. The only unpleasant experience was that when I first arrived, the counter staff asked me to pay, but in fact, I had already completed the payment on the booking platform and took time to explain and verify. Overall, it is still a worthy choice of accommodation.
Let's start with address; difficult to find even people living there could not find it easily. The entrance is disguised by some lady selling various objects.(see photo)
You have to be mind reader to find your room and bed as receptionist doesn't move her ass to show, instead mentions the wrong door with a punch code(it is obvious that it happened before as the code is still on the punch pad). The correct pad is actually on the handle of the next door that you need magnifier to find it ,if it is your first time. Then writes down 1/1/1/ which is supposed to be 1st door,1st bed and 1st locker.
Skip this hostel if you are light and early sleeper as the tram line passes next door and it turns is quite curvy so the nise is quite annoying and happenes periodically. There is also noise from wooden floor and bed brames each time you move, Basically you have tiptoe to in order to make less noise. However, the major drawback is the bathroom cailities rather the lack of it only one bathroom for so many guests. I had to wait more than one hour and eventually gave up.
On the plus side, it has great location only few minutes to the old town centre. It also is quite clean.
For the price you pay which is about half the average hotel, next time I would definitely stay in a hotel. It is your choice.

GGuest UserIt's about 10 minutes from Krakow Station, so it's easy to get there. Overall, it was worth the price. I guess it's understandable considering it's cheap. The shower room didn't have a metal bracket to attach the shower head to the wall, so it was inconvenient when washing my head. Also, the door between the dressing room and the shower space wasn't very good, so the shower water leaked out. It's basically an unmanned hostel, so some people may be concerned about security. I thought there would be curtains on the beds, but only the top bunk had them. Also, you have to attach the sheets yourself and remove them in the morning.
GGuest UserHotel located in central area of krakow close to tram and all sightseeing places . Basis hotel chose a room with attached bathroom basis bed but towel was very small clean place has lots of dormitory rooms so expect young Euro travelers no lift had to climb 4 floors .
Hotel staff were very friendly and have a small bar and the server was extremely polite and cheerfull.
BBlack-haired JapaneseIt was a bit difficult to find the hotel since it doesn't have a nameboard in front of the first entrance. You should definitely call the hotel before you go there because you can't enter the building without going through the locked gate. I actually didn't contact the hotel beforehand and couldn't even find the entrance when I arrived. I made a call and the clerk kindly came in front of the building to find me and guided me to the reception. She was so kind and helpful.
The room was good enough for a single short stay too.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is convenient, you can take a tram to arrive, the reception counter is on the second floor, the environment is clean and tidy, there is a shared kitchen and bathroom, the check-in and check-out process is very smooth, the overall accommodation experience is good ☺️
AAnonymous UserThe location is super good! 5 minutes walk from the train station or bus station to 😄
But the hotel is a bit old, the sound insulation is poor, the bath is very slow, the bed is too soft, the wife is too soft 🙂↕️
