DDaleena RollinsBeautiful property, but distressing stay delayed departure for medical care and unresolved billing dispute Meuly Family Lodge looked beautiful in the location was convenient. Unfortunately my experience became frightening when I became seriously ill. I’m a kidney transplant patient I arrived already feeling unwell from what I believed was travel, fatigue, and altitude sickness. During my stay, I experienced stomach cramps, diarrhea, and extreme sleep is after meals initially, I attributed this to traveling, but the symptoms continue and became progressively worse after tasting the final meal from my finger my tongue became numb. My heart began pounding and fluttering, and I experienced severe dizziness, headache, nausea, and disorientation. I put the uneaten food outside and laid down immediately, and I struggled my symptoms. Eventually led me to seek urgent medical assistance. My medical evaluation is ongoing as I’m currently writing this review from the hospital during the hours I was resting Fred the owner who had brought my meals, repeatedly, knocked and called my screenshot. Show the repeated contact at 10:32 PM. I told the lodge I was sick and had called for an ambulance. I asked whether it had arrived. The reply was yes I requested getting help out the messages then asked me to open the door and then said OK. I’ll find another way, but I have not even gotten off the bed yet to attempt to open the door when I did open the door Fred and another man were there doing that encounter a man pushed against the door as I tried to close it? I managed to shut it and lock it at 10:36 PM iMessage the lodge that is not the ambulance this experience frightening me horribly a nurse. Her husband subsequently arrived to take me to the hospital however, our departure was delayed while the lodge claim that my accommodation had not been paid, I showed my payment records and booking confirmation and then Contact or Trip.com repeatedly while ill. Finally, Trip.com was able to confirm in writing that my accommodation payment was settled with the hotel. Despite that confirmation we continue waiting while the lodge demanded payment for food. The nursing and her husband witnessed the dispute. The food charges were so unclear their highest meal price I recalling on the menu is 10,000 shillings after ordering I no longer had access to the menu. I requested it again in writing, but it was not provided so I offered 60,000 shillings in cash at that time to settle the meals and beverages based on the prices I had seen the lodge refused at that offer during the dispute. I was quoted several different amounts including 100 USD 75 USD and 85 USD and food charges the later handwritten bill list of the dinners at USD 15 each one lunch USD 15 three juices total USD six and one soda at USD two that came out to USD 83 for five meals and four drinks the same bill marked my six right night of accommodation as paid the large leader contacted Trip.com saying I owe them $75 for food. I was not refusing to discuss a food bill. I was asking for the menu and a can sit in a consistent explanation of the charges and recognition that my accommodation had already been paid. I was told if I wanna leave I would have to leave my passport at that time and I refuse. I eventually left for Medicare with essential belongings, but I was forced to leave two large suitcases behind, but I did lock them myself, and I still have the key after I reached the hospital. Fred unexpectedly appeared at my bedside to discuss the food payment. I had not told him which hospital I was attending given what had happened earlier and how I was I found this visit very distressing. I had to repeatedly ask him to leave after the hospital visit. The lodge reported to the police that I had not paid for my accommodation, even though I had shown proof of payment and Trip.com had already confirmed in writing that the bookie was settled. I provided my receipt so that so the payment information could be passed

SshirouhitomiI stayed here twice. The first time, I booked the cheapest single room, P1. It was tiny, barely enough space to turn around, and I had to open the door to fully open my suitcase. Later, due to a power issue, I was moved to P2, which I believe is a more expensive single room, and it was much more spacious. My second stay was in a triple room. The bedding wasn't great, but everything else was reasonably clean. It's very close to the station and a supermarket, so for the price, you can't really ask for much more.

GGuest UserI had a very good and comfortable stay at this place! The room was clean and spacious. Even though it was a little difficult to adjust the temperature, I could take a hot shower. Sadly, hair dryer was broken but they provided a fan. Staffs were very friendly and kind. There’s also a kitchen that guests can use for free, which I also found very helpful. I would definitely stay again!

RRose’s travellingSuper nice welcome, awesome apartment studio perfect for a couple, very comfortable and well located near the main road, but in a relatively quiet area. Perfect to rest and enjoy Arusha on a weekend visit or even for a longer stay. There is no breakfast plan yet, you can shop and cook yourself your meals, the apartment has utensils.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was very good. The room was separated from the room where the TV was seen and the bedroom was cheap, but it was wide 々. Breakfast was delicious and he was willing to accept me when I asked him to get the time earlier. All the staff were kind and friendly. I was relieved that there were many female staff. It seems to be a new hotel and the facilities are beautiful. This is a very recommended hotel!

AAnonymous UserThis house villa is in a village 20 minutes away from Arusha city. I like it very much. The room is clean and tidy, with a private bathroom, and the yard is also very tidy and interesting. The owner of the yard is also a very interesting person and the other staff are very friendly. By the way, if you want to stay in the courtyard and relax, they provide simple meals for three meals a day, which is delicious. In the evening, everyone would warm themselves by the fire and chat in the yard. Friends from all over the world would gather in front of the fire and tell their own stories. Very interesting. The people in the village are also very friendly and enthusiastic. When I went out for a walk, I even made local friends, the children of the neighbors. There are schools, churches, and local markets nearby, which is very interesting. I will stay here again next time. Miss you my friends. Highly recommend this place.

SSuyoyonIt's a little off the center of Karatu, so you can stay calm. The staff was friendly and packed breakfast in the box because I had to leave the hotel early on the day of check-out.

GGuest UserI'm a Japanese woman traveling with a friend to Arusha and stayed here for two days. Arusha was very safe, and the people were very kind. The owner of Raha Leo Inn was very kind from check-in to check-out. We stayed for two days, and he checked if we needed breakfast in the morning and prepared it right away. We were also planning to travel to Dar es Salaam after our stay, but we hadn't yet booked our express bus, so he recommended an express bus company the day before we left. This was very helpful, as we weren't sure what to do. Our room was a single-story building on the first floor and was just the right size for two people. Amenities included toilet paper and hand soap. There were no bugs, and the bed and interior were clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was available. The hotel's exterior and lobby were very stylish, which I really appreciated. Thank you for your hospitality.

SSATORU77Outlet is BF type It's a little far from town, but the supermarket is also a little far away. Private houses around the hotel The footing is pretty bad. The hotel facilities include a large fan and hot water for showers. You can also use wifi Please be careful as there are occasional power outages. Breakfast is quite simple. Flat omelet, bread, and tea The pasta I had for breakfast on the second day had sugar in it... Breakfast usually starts around 6:30am. Even though I had paid for the hotel in advance, I was charged a bill, so I needed proof. I was afraid of being charged later, so for dinner I bought Mayai chips at the supermarket or on the main street. The facilities were clean and good.
