Amazing
澐澐錦 國際教育This Summer, I came to Harvard University to continue my professional studies, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed in such a beautiful home during my week here.
My host , Nicole, has been exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and caring. From the very beginning, I felt warmly welcomed. She even picked me up from the airport, prepared breakfast for me, and generously told me to help myself to anything in the fridge. She also made delicious homemade desserts for me, which made the whole experience feel even more special.
I feel truly blessed to have been able to call this beautiful house my home for the week. The surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful, elegant, and very safe, giving me a wonderful sense of comfort whenever I come and go.
Although I need to take a taxi to Harvard each day, I feel it is absolutely worth it. Having such a quiet and relaxing environment has allowed me to rest properly, reflect on what I have learned, and fully focus on my studies. My host has even kindly allowed me to use her study, giving me a perfect space to read, work, and prepare for my Harvard programme.
Sometimes I genuinely wonder how I became so fortunate to find such a beautiful home and such a wonderful host. All I can feel is gratitude.
This peaceful home, together with my host’s kindness and thoughtful support, has made my Harvard learning experience even more memorable and enjoyable. I was able to complete my programme feeling happy, focused, supported, and deeply grateful.
Thank you once again to my wonderful host for everything you have done for me. Your generosity and kindness have made this week at Harvard a truly special chapter of my journey. ❤️🙏

GGuest UserLastly, if you are booking somewhere with a free breakfast because you are looking forward to it, this is not your place. They offered watered down sunny D, water, one type of muffin, bread, cereal, potatoes, gritty watery scrambled eggs, and some kind of “French toast casserole”. Not a yogurt or a meat choice in sight, with a big sign asking you not to bring breakfast to your room. That may be common- but in my opinion I should be allowed to bring back my children or mother a meal if they don’t want to come to the dining room, and if we are responsible enough to order takeout to our room then we must be responsible enough to have a light breakfast as well. For the price point, unappetizing breakfast, and the insect activity; I will next time choose a more franchised option.

GGuest UserOverall, I was satisfied with my stay at Sunbird Resort and Hotel. I’m not too familiar with their other location which is adjacent to the main hotel called Sunbird Annex. The continental breakfast was nice, clean, and things were replenished for the most part. Fruits, different juices, pastries, eggs, sausages, and coffee. Although the scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausages seem to all come from a bag that was microwaved, but what more can you ask for? It was tasty, clean, and enough to feed everyone.
I read from other reviews that a s’mores kit was available for kids but was told they only provide the lighter and propane. Not a big issue, but definitely a plus if it was available as advertised. Shuttle buses and night time movies were nowhere to be seen, but I did not ask about those so I can not really speak to that.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The staff was responsive. The room was cleaned daily and no issues with cleanliness. The room was definitely not a Hilton, bathroom could use an update. Again, for the most part it met my needs and my little kid had a blast.

Nnella marleyThe hotel is located about a 5-10 minute drive just outside of Plymouth. It is in a residential area with nothing else around it but it is right on the beach of Warren Cove. One side is set up as a motel with doors on the outside, and the other side with room doors on an interior hallway. The kids loved watching how high the water came up in the morning at high tide. In the afternoon it is great for walking and skipping rocks, and watching the gulls & sandpipers. It was a bit too chilly to use the outdoor pool, but the indoor pool and hot tub area were great. Both were a bit smaller than expected, but not usually occupied. Continental breakfast is served daily from 7-10 consisting of the usual breakfast pastries, a couple of cereals, and a Belgian waffle maker. Coffee, hot chocoate, tea, apple & orange juices were also available, as well as some yogurts in the fridge. The owners let me know that the restaurant located in the hotel should be open in a few months, and that all the rooms were getting redone in the next year. I already reserved a 2-bedroom suite for next August.

JjunecrabThe hotel service is good, the breakfast is a simple Western meal, the room facilities are a bit old, but fortunately it is clean and sanitary. It is basically the best hotel in this small town.

GGuest UserI love this hotel I stay here everytime I come to Massachusetts but the room 301 we had need some work done.
So the pullout bed wouldn’t go back in for us.
The bathroom towel hanger was broken as shown in picture.
The knob in the tub very loose otherwise we had a good one night sleep over.

LLnlyj1018It is a 5-minute walk from the Red Line subway Andrew station, with convenient transportation, very clean and comfortable, providing drinks and fruits, and the boss is a foreigner and very friendly. It’s will be my first choice next time.

GGuest UserWe booked the highest priced room and received the lowest priced room. The excuse was: “our policy is that we don’t guarantee the room booked for 3rd party Party bookings. We don’t give refunds, talk to your booking agent.” So much for prepaid no recourse bookings.
Hilton was no help in making this right on the spot. We will see when there’s time to contest the bait & switch. Trip.com was good about offering a partial refund of the difference in cost. However, they want your bank account information to send the refund. I don’t know about you, but I am not willing to send complete banking information to someone in Singapore. So I agreed to trip coins. A sour note to an otherwise great family visit.
