In winter, most of the colorful pools are covered with a thin layer of ice, and the yellow, green, and blue water shines brightly among the broken ice. How long is the journey: Approximately around 8-10 hoirs by bus from Chengdu to Jouzhaigou and another 3 hour bus ride to Jouzhaigou. Flight: Around 1 hour. NOTE‼️ If you are not used to high altitude then prepare before hand and take some high altitude pills a week or days before your hike up. Wear confortable shoes and clothes.
