Did not know spect this hotel to be this nice in the City of Handan! Squeaky clean and classy from inside out. Very courteous and helpful staff members from concierge to housekeepers, not to speak of the front desk angels . Love to come back and check in here next time !

I was very satisfied with my stay. First of all, I would like to thank Kevin for solving the problem with my room. Whether it was the front desk, the restaurant or the overall hotel experience, everything was excellent. The staff at the restaurant were very enthusiastic and the bartender at the bar was handsome and professional. See you next time!

Ski Tickets (2-day, 2-person, gear not included): I stayed alone and ended up using the two ski tickets over three consecutive days. Yunsu Express Lane (2 people): Facial recognition was a hassle; I kept having to take off my mask, glasses, and gloves in the cold. Facilities: The amenities are very comprehensive. The best feature was the in-room independent washing machine with a dryer function. Luckily, I brought my own laundry detergent and disinfectant (I'm not sure if the hotel provides them). There's an air purifier, humidifier, induction cooker with a range hood, and a retractable dining table, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel also has a pool and a gym, and they even offered a complimentary 1-hour yoga class. Service: The service was quite good, but the breakfast selection at Yunxi Restaurant was a bit limited. You can also go to the Blue Lake Restaurant at the Genting Grand Hotel and use your room card to get free breakfast there, which has a slightly wider variety. However, to be honest, the protein options were very scarce, mostly just eggs and sausages. Hygiene: Very clean. The complimentary Yunhua Palace offers showers and a steam room (you can use the steam room in the changing area without needing to buy a special steam suit; there's a larger one that I think requires purchasing one). You can pay extra for a massage or body scrub (68 RMB + 10 RMB for a scrub mitt).

PROS: Friendly staff. Even though not many speak English, they really try to solve any issues that arise. Lily, one of the hotel staff members, spoke excellent English and assisted us on several occasions. Billiards room — free. Laundromat on the −1st floor — free. You can buy detergent in the convenience store on the same floor. Good breakfast, but Chinese food only. You can also have lunch and dinner in the same restaurant for an extra charge. Other restaurants in the hotel: Hotpot, Hunan cuisine, Yunnan cuisine. McDonald’s right outside (huge lunch lines, though). Gym on the 10th floor. Prince Hotel near the 22nd lift offers additional dining options. Yunting Hotel on the right also has options, plus a Burberry store and a coffee shop with good coffee, desserts, and even mulled wine. Ski-in / ski-out hotel. You can use the magic carpet to go to Genting (Yunting) Resort on the right and take a gondola to the top, or ski down to the left and take the 22nd chairlift — very convenient. Wanlong Resort is connected to Yunting; if you spend 78 RMB or more at Wanlong, you get free passage back. Thaiwoo Resort is about 10 minutes away by Didi. Fulong Resort is about 25 minutes away. A brand-new resort, Xue Ruyi, is also about 10 minutes away. The room has a bathtub — not very big, but cozy. Smart Toto toilet. Small but convenient shower. Plenty of space for luggage. Riding gear can be stored on the 1st or 2nd floor. CONS (minor): Dark bathroom. The room was very hot, even when it was −20°C outside. We had to open the window. The heated floors are very effective, but there’s no way to adjust them, even though there is a controller next to the switches in the corridor. Definitely bring shorts and tank tops for the room.

The Orange Hotel is truly the pinnacle. We stayed in Xiongxian specifically for this hotel, and we weren't disappointed. The rooms are all first-rate, with thoughtful decor and a grand sightseeing elevator. The self-service coffee on the first floor is excellent, and they also make cappuccinos and iced Americanos. The breakfast is plentiful and beautifully presented. The service is friendly, especially at the first-floor reception desk. They even offered souvenirs and even provided medicated oil to keep mosquitoes away. While the surrounding area is relatively undeveloped and mostly consists of resettlement housing, the scenery around the hotel is beautiful and dining options are convenient. The handsome guy who picked us up at the station was a part-time university intern. We were picked up and taken to and from the station by a business car with massage seats—truly excellent service.

Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay.

We only stayed for 1 night but really enjoyed the experience. Due to the centralized heating system, our room was extremely hot and reached 29 degrees celsius even with the window open. We ended up calling the front desk at 4:30 a.m., and within 10 minutes, someone arrived with a large fan. She helped us set it up and adjust the temperature, and it quickly became comfortable enough for us to fall back asleep. Thank you for the quick assistance!

We had a slight hiccup during check-in, and traveling with a child, I really didn't want any unpleasantness. However, thanks to the excellent service from Peach 🍑, everything was resolved smoothly. They never shied away from any issues that arose, always trying their best to offer a discount or a small gift to make my child happy. Sometimes, a hotel's quality isn't just about one person's opinion; if everyone could be a bit more considerate of guests, InterContinental would probably avoid a lot of problems! The bunk bed mattresses could definitely be softer; they were really firm, but my child still loved them, oh well!

The hotel is very good and new.comfortable room, good signal internet, note bathroom 10 and a well-equipped and free laundry.Breakfast has a mix of Chinese and Western.The reception team is very careful. We arrived late and they helped us to ask a pizza. The reception bar offers a wide variety of imported beers.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wanlimiao Pedestrian Street. It's very convenient for reaching various city attractions, with bus stops and subway stations located nearby. The hotel environment is pleasant, and the service is excellent. The front desk staff were very attentive, understanding guests' needs and arranging rooms thoughtfully. The views from the room, both at night and in the morning, were beautiful. What really stood out was that it happened to be my birthday, and they even prepared a special birthday gift – such a thoughtful gesture! 👍🏻 Housekeeping was also great; the room was impeccably clean. The hotel's afternoon tea was delicious too. I initially thought it might be leftovers from breakfast, but it turned out to be specially made cakes. Breakfast was also good, with a satisfying taste. The hotel offers excellent value for money. If I ever visit Shijiazhuang again, I will definitely choose Nuohuating Hotel! 👍🏻
