had a wonderful stay at Vivanta Meghalaya, Shillong, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hotel’s location is one of its biggest strengths. Situated right in the heart of Shillong, it is within walking distance of shopping streets, local markets, salons, cafés, small malls, and spas. Everything I needed was conveniently nearby, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to different tastes. It was one of the highlights of my stay, and I looked forward to it every morning. What truly made the experience memorable was the hospitality. Every member of the staff I interacted with was warm, polite, and genuinely helpful. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The overall ambience of the hotel strikes a nice balance between modern comfort and the charm of Shillong. The only downside was the room rate, which was quite steep during the period I visited. However, considering the excellent service, prime location, quality facilities, and overall experience, I felt it was worth the price. Overall, I had an amazing stay at Vivanta Meghalaya and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shillong, whether for business or leisure. If you’re looking for comfort, outstanding hospitality, and a central location, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Overall it is a very nice property and very well maintained .A glitch however happened .. ordered lunch.. there menu says phoolka.. . I ordered 4 phoolkas . They missed telling me that as per them phoolka has 2 units and also this is not written anywhere in their menu... so overall 8 chappatis came which were very much in excess. I never want to waste food and decided that will consume it in evening after getting them heated up. But on calling them in evening to get the chappatis heated they refused even though I told them that I ordered them from their restaurant only for lunch .They could have easily done it. It is not a big thing . Food should not be wasted, is a simple and good thing to imbibe. Hope they are more considerate in future or do some corrections in their menu card.

Perhaps a bit sterile in the room but was well appointed and immaculately clean. Quite beautiful in the hallways and although I only stayed one night I found the service and staff to be friendly and attentive. A good if brief stay.

On the top of a beautiful hill in the center of the city, there are many ancient buildings nearby. The hotel has three accommodations and three restaurants, all adjacent to each other. The breakfast is very good, and the Asian dishes in the MANDALAY restaurant are also very good. The price/performance ratio is much better than other hotels in Shillong.

A beautiful hotel with conceptual design, professional staff, delicious food and a charming coffee. The rooms were quite warm and pleasantly surprised! Thank you very much for the convenience that organized us a comfortable transfer with a wonderful driver to Cherapungi and Guvahati! I very much want to appreciate other hotels of this network - unfortunately, in Kolkata there were no places on our dates ... I definitely recommend this hotel!

As per rate the hotel should be deluxe. But it looks like a normal village hotel. Cleaning is very very poor. So many insects and rats are moving inside the room.
