This is a relatively new hotel in Nagoya, having opened in the last year of the '3-year period' (likely referring to the pandemic years). It's positioned as a five-star hotel right at the threshold of the Marriott brand, so all its facilities are good, but not luxurious. The hotel staff's English is excellent, and they proactively speak it, which is very convenient – typical of an American chain. I don't know the size of the standard rooms, but the pictures suggest they aren't very large. However, the suite design is incredibly well-thought-out. It's very considerate and convenient for living, both in terms of privacy and usability. The suite is spacious, the internet is good, and it's very clean. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the corner sofa is very practical. Having two bathrooms is just perfect.

The room is decently sized with a comfortable bed, and the friendly staff and convenient location made our stay great. However, do note that there are no baby amenities (e.g. baby toothbrush, baby shower gel, sponge, etc) provided. Also, for drivers, the parking lot closes at 10 PM, so you’ll need to be back by then. Since we were traveling with a toddler, the early closing time didn't bother us.

As a long-standing five-star hotel, the facilities are very well-maintained, and the entire front office service is professional and rigorous. However, the housekeeping and cleanliness in the guest rooms don't quite match the hotel's overall standard. I stayed for 6 days and the dust on the bathroom light fixture was so obvious yet it wasn't cleaned. I won't even mention other details. The service quality from the South Asian staff needs improvement.

This was my second stay here. During my last visit, I suddenly fell ill and had a rough night, but early the next morning, a Chinese staff member kindly helped me contact a nearby hospital and called a taxi for me—I was truly grateful! That's why I decided to stay here again this time! The location is right above Nagoya Station, with Takashimaya just downstairs and plenty of dining options across various cuisines on the 12th and 13th floors, which is super convenient! Although you can still hear some train noise at night, it wasn't a big deal. The room was also very spacious, easily fitting three 28-inch suitcases! Overall, highly recommended!

The public areas are exquisitely restrained, and the view of the neon nightscape from the high-floor room window is simply wonderful. That single view alone is worth the room rate. The room features many clever hidden designs, which are quite sufficient. The overhead lighting in the elevators and corridors is a bit dim, though that might just be the intended design style. The slippers are rather thin, and it's a bit of a pity that the sink and desk are combined into one, making a wet-and-dry separation impossible. Overall, I would still highly recommend it.

The hotel is quite old but clean and provides good facilities. It’s located perfectly right next to the Nagoya station and in the same building as Meitetsu bus station. So it’s convenient to take a bus continuing to Takayama and other cities without any hassles. Many cafes and restaurants are underground and nearby buildings. I would really recommend this hotel for the stay in Nagoya.

The hotel has a minimalist design and is considered a good hotel in Nagoya. However, the doorman didn't help us with our luggage. Also, when I booked the room, the picture showed the bed against a wall, but the room we actually got had an open vanity behind the bed, which was different from the advertised picture. Since we were on a tight schedule and only staying one night, and we were tired, I didn't bother to discuss it with the front desk. But I really didn't like the design of that room.

The hotel's location is superb, directly connected to JR Nagoya Station, so you don't have to worry about getting wet on rainy days. Takashimaya department store is right downstairs, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the high floor offered fantastic views of the beautiful city night lights. The bedding was comfortable, the service polite and attentive, and the breakfast selection was rich and varied. It was especially hassle-free for catching the Shinkansen, making travel a breeze. I highly recommend it for your trip, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Nagoya.

My stay at ESPACIO Nagoya Castle left a lasting impression, primarily due to the incredibly attentive and professional staff! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptionally warm and welcoming. As foreign guests, we truly felt at home, thanks to their fluent English and Chinese, along with their thoughtful guidance. The hotel's interior is elegantly decorated, exuding an artistic ambiance. Whether in the lobby, restaurant, hot spring, or when staff were explaining room facilities, everyone always had a smile and readily attended to guests' needs. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Nagoya Castle, offering a peaceful environment, though finding dining options on the street at night can be a bit challenging. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the food quality was remarkably high! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its 100% service and museum-like artistic atmosphere. While it's on the pricier side, it absolutely delivers an unforgettable experience! A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Nagoya!

We originally wanted to book a different hotel, but due to my surgery, we ended up staying at the same hotel for the entire two weeks. However, it wasn't uncomfortable at all. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day, and the hotel's hot springs were very relaxing and not too crowded. We occasionally saw tour groups from Taiwan there.
