The place is in quite bad condition and the staff very unfriendly. I read on Google that they would take your phone to leave a great review with it so I refused to give it to them. He still “needed to take a picture of my booking info because being short sightseeing” but then could read my translation app no problem… The room itself was good and the shuttle came to bring me to the airport (just a couple minutes late). The elevator stops one floor before the rooms so I almost left my suitcase downstairs but all the suitcases there were absolutely empty… it made me feel like they try to have people believe that they can leave they luggage down for the night but not with the best intentions. Regardless, I decided to bring it up and carry it in the stairs to feel better overnight. Cheap and okay room for one night near the airport, that’s all.

The front desk staff were really great; one of the male staff even gave me hot mineral water and local specialties when I left. When I couldn't get the hot water to work in my room, a female staff member was quick to help, and they personally delivered my takeaway orders to my room. There's also hot coffee available in the lobby. The hotel's close proximity to the subway is another plus. The only downsides were having to get up early for breakfast to avoid queuing for a table, and there's only one elevator. The room was a bit small and the facilities were older, but it was very clean and quiet. Also, it looked like some of the toiletries had been used, but thankfully I hadn't brought many of my own. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Exiting Pudong Airport Station on the Urban Rail Line, you'll find the elevator for the Airport Hotel right by Exit 2, very easy to spot. The hotel is divided into a South and North wing. It's about a 6-minute walk to T2 departures. The hotel is located between T1 and T2, and there are plenty of dining and drinking options within the airport concourse. The twin beds in the room can be moved together.

This is the second Vienna Hotel I've stayed at near Pudong Airport, as I had an early flight the next day. The decor is quite new, and the front desk service was excellent. They proactively registered me for the next day's shuttle in advance, and since I'd miss breakfast, the hotel provided a breakfast bag. The room's decor leans towards a 'Ji Hotel' style, which I quite like. The room size was appropriate, and the bedding and towels were relatively new. During my one-night stay, I didn't encounter any noise or other issues. There are many dining options nearby, so I ordered takeout since it was cold outside. A robot delivered it to my room. For the 6:00 AM shuttle the next day, I needed to check out and be downstairs 10 minutes prior. The shuttle is a proper mini-bus, with seating upstairs and luggage storage downstairs – clean and comfortable. The driver was also very professional and helpful with luggage.

The Shanghai SK Hotel is a long-standing luxury hotel located in Lujiazui. Its location is excellent, within walking distance of the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The river view rooms offer superb views, with dazzling lights and a charming cityscape at night. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I particularly liked the bathroom layout. However, there's room for improvement regarding the check-in speed. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend it.

Double Tree was very professional. They offered us parking space for our scooters and spoke really good English. Our room was clean and the water pressure was great. The AC was also working perfectly. One thing that was a bit of a bummer was that the plug in our bathtub was broken and could not let the water run out. It might be time to check on all the features of the bathrooms and fix or upgrade some of the appliances and furniture as well. We did not opt for the breakfast so we cannot comment on the food. However, the staff was super helpful in setting the address and room number on eleme so that we could order some dinner. Lovely stay for one night...

The process from booking the hurtle shuttle via WeChat was very convenient, the hotel staff particularly Xiao Li and the driver were really accommodating and friendly! The hotel is 10 minutes drive away from the airport but 45~ minutes to Shanghai central. Thank you for a comfortable stay. I appreciate that you have the airport shuttle service too! the hotel room was as pictured and the river view was nice during the winter. The instructions to pick up from gate 27 was very accurate too.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of great food options just across the street, and the riverside promenade is only a hundred meters away. The views from the hotel are fantastic, whether it's the river view or the city view. The service attitude was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I have to mention that due to the older facilities, the air conditioning failed on the first day, making the room incredibly hot, though it worked fine on the second day. Overall, the stay experience in the Zijin Building was quite satisfactory.

Facilities: Fully equipped. Hygiene: Neat and clean. Environment: Quiet and elegant. Service: Overall excellent. The transportation is convenient, and it would be even better if breakfast was available within the building. The price is affordable. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this stay.

The hotel lobby is comfortable, the room gets good natural light, and the bathroom has no strange odors. I felt very relaxed during my stay. The front desk staff was professional and patiently answered all my questions. The room was spotlessly clean, with no overlooked spots. The location is convenient, with a convenience store downstairs. The room was spacious and the WiFi signal was excellent!

GGuest UserCheck-in was quick, the room was clean, and the breakfast offered a good variety, plus they even provided a thoughtful late-night snack. The hotel is about a 5-6 minute walk from Laoximen subway station, and both Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple are within walking distance. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to different stops at various times throughout the day, which is very convenient for getting around. I stayed for two nights and overall had a good experience.

JJane.^If you're going to Disneyland, you *have* to stay at this hotel! We originally booked a B&B near Disneyland because we had the early entry pass, and the owner provided rides both in the morning and at night. But B&Bs just aren't the same as hotels. After our Disney trip, we checked into this Novotel, a brand I've always loved. I've stayed at several Novotels in Suzhou before, near Jinji Lake and Taihu Lake. After a full day at Disneyland, I was completely wiped out, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged a late-night snack for us. The next day, we slept in and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast – my child and I had so much fun. After relaxing a bit, we headed to the 5th floor for a workout. The late 2 PM checkout time was perfect; we got all the rest we needed before heading back to Suzhou! I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserExcellent reception desk assistants, translating through phone app. English / Chinese Coffee /tea even massage chairs in reception. Room: Fantastic Beds were huge & comfortable - we had an upgrade to a larger room. The shower and shower toiletries were so refreshing. Towels were lovely soft & clean. Breakfast was the best I have had for a long time. Lived the rice, fried eggs, noodles , fruit vegetables. Even clams one morning. Great variety of drinks. The chief and staff were very happy & helpful. Extremely clean. I used the laundry room which also had a tumble dryer. This was useful due to travelling on to Beijing afterwards. The other family rooms have slides and are duplex. Sue the swimming pool is great in the summer. Excellent price , excellent choice for Families going to Disneyland and other local trips. Loved being able to go along the local street to see Shanghai local food, shops and life. Seems to be a family run business which is lovely to support. Location is great for the local shops , food, 7/11 supermarket for snacks & drinks Restaurants and food for locals which was delicious and a great price. Shuttle bus excellent. Taxi ( Didi) was £3 back from Disneyland . £11 to Shanghai Greenhouse Gardens ( evening ticket £5.40) this is an amazing trip not to be missed.

SShanghai based coupleAs a couple who has lived in Shanghai together for almost 10 years, with one of us also Shanghainese, we have been to a lot of the best places in Shanghai, and some of the more recommended places in about 20 cities in the broader nearby area. Nothing in the city or within several hours of high-speed rail compares to a stay at Ritz-Carlton Pudong. In Asia and indeed the planet, this impeccable hotel experience stands as an iconic example of old-world elegance and service. In addition, it also offers a unique view of both some of the most modern and tallest buildings and the city’s famed Bund riverside, home to a variety of art deco architectural masterpieces. We had the incredible good fortune to start our honeymoon at the Ritz in Pudong, and this last stay was our last honeymoon treat. As always, it was a spectacular experience that we cannot recommend enough. The most extraordinary part of the stay really is the staff, they are all world class people who go above and beyond to make the Ritz-Carlton Pudong such an exceptional institution in one of the world’s leading cities. Sincere thanks to the whole team for making this happen, including Cherryl, who made reservation delightfully effortless, Chris who helped us to our room, and Joey and Ruby who helped in the evening. Special and heartfelt thanks to the whole team who make the Club Lounge experience world beating: Eddie and Junita, who both lead by example, have a deep passion for the details that create excellence, as well as being just the nicest people. They are both incredibly inspiring leaders and professionals. Claire is generally excellent there but also was phenomenally helpful to get a bag back when it was left behind, we really apricated that. Jeramy and Vivian also are amazing, as are Club Lounge’s chef’s Joe and Austin. Sherry is a real star, attentive, sharp and so helpful. Last but not least, Helen, who was the first person to greet us after we got married, and fittingly the last person to help us create personalised room key cards with our wedding photo on it, and most recently a special photo of family from our honeymoon. Those keycards are really cool keepsakes, but making them is not as simple as you might think: the image is etched into the key, not printed, so the original photo needs to be translated by AI into an image that the etching system is capable of delivering, which is really impressive. When I showed my mom who lives very far away, even she was impressed with Helen’s work. Ordinarily we prioritise new experiences over more of the same, regardless of how comfortable and nice it is. But regardless of how hard we try, we have not been able to figure out a better way to celebrate our biggest moments than a stay at the Ritz in Pudong.

GGuest UserStayed at the Banyan Tree on the Bund with my parents during Chinese New Year. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly warm and patient. The rooms are genuinely spacious, and the scallion oil noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious – a must-order every morning! The hotel's location is also excellent, in North Bund. When choosing a hotel, I was debating whether to stay directly on the Bund, and now I'm so glad I didn't. It's truly too crowded there during peak tourist season. This location is much better, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. And here's the best part: we got upgraded to a Bund river-view room, and the view was absolutely unbeatable. The room rate felt entirely worth it. Next time I'm in Shanghai, Banyan Tree will definitely be my top choice.

GGuest UserI love love love my stay in ATOUR. First of all, I checked in at 3am in the morning, they were so fast and efficient that we were in our room within 10 mins of arriving. Travelling with wheelchair was not a problem here, it was fairly convenient as there is ramp everywhere along with super duper helpful staff everywhere. My elderly parents love especially the fact that they provided us with a lot of water bottles every single day as they do drink a lot of water. The midnight supper had a lot of choices eventhough it is for porridge but we look forward to it every single night. There is free laundry with free detergents and all, so you really don’t need to bring much. Only downside is, you do have to occasionally walk in from the roadside to the lobby as the security to open the gate is often not there. Last but not least, I want to give a special shoutout to 江平儿for being so helpful with my mom and our stay. She helped us tremendously as we needed help navigating the wheelchair at times.
