I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from each morning. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is also a big plus—conveniently situated close to everything you need, which made exploring the area very easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. Special thanks to Tim and the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The driver was very friendly and kind, and the shuttle bus stop was very close. The hotel itself was pretty standard. I stayed here for a layover, and it's about 20 minutes from the airport, which is quite close. The room window felt a bit thin, despite being double-glazed. The horizontal sliding window didn't seal very well, but luckily it's not cold this season.

Since I had an early flight, I stayed at a hotel close to the airport. There's a shuttle bus that picks us up from T1 and T2, and the hotel is right above a mall, which was super convenient for grabbing food. The hotel facilities were great, and the breakfast was excellent. Plus, you can take the hotel shuttle back to the airport. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. My friend and I (two women) booked a Superior Twin Room, and the room was more spacious than we expected. The layout was practical, making it easy to store our luggage. The beds were clean and comfortable with just the right firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep. The soundproofing was also quite effective, and we weren't disturbed by any outside noise. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the cleanliness of our room put us at ease. The bathroom had a convenient wet/dry separation, plenty of hot water, and a full set of toiletries, making for a smooth experience. For guests on a short stopover or with a layover, these amenities are more than sufficient. The location is excellent for travelers catching flights, being close to Pudong Airport, which makes getting around quite convenient. It's a worry-free choice for those with connecting flights or early morning departures. The front desk staff were professional and efficient; both check-in and check-out were smooth, with no long waits. Overall, this is an airport hotel with good value for money, suitable for short stays or transit. Both the room comfort and service met our expectations, and I would definitely consider staying here again if I have a similar trip in the future.

The hotel room was clean and tidy, and the shuttle bus was very convenient. It takes about 20 minutes from the hotel to the airport, and the driver was very friendly. The shuttle runs on the hour. The front desk staff was gentle and even gave us a free upgrade. The room service was excellent. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

This hotel is right above the terminal, which is super convenient! My flight was at 9 AM, and I checked out at 7:45 AM, still had time for breakfast before heading to my gate. It's perfect for anyone who doesn't want to rush in the morning. You can see the airport right outside the window, but the soundproofing is surprisingly good. No wonder so many international travelers choose to stay here.

I booked this hotel last minute for less than 350 RMB. It was a standard room and included breakfast for two. Since there were three of us, the lovely front desk staff gave us an extra breakfast voucher, plus some Coke and other drinks. The service was excellent. They offer an airport shuttle service, which seems to depart every 40 minutes. It's a large bus, so if you're flying into Pudong Airport, this hotel is a really great option. The breakfast was a buffet, with both Chinese and Western options. It was very nutritious. I noticed a lot of foreigners in the restaurant; perhaps they also favor this brand? The room was quite spacious, and the facilities were new and very clean. The overall style was modern, fresh, and comfortable. My check-in experience deserves a five-star rating. However, we had a tight schedule, checking in at 10 PM and checking out by 8 AM. Otherwise, I would have loved to stay longer, haha.

Excellent service from this hotel near to Pudong airport. It takes around 5-10 minutes from the airport via a didi and around rmb 16 at 8am. Hotel staff allows me to have an early check in and even told me that i can have my breakfast. Selection of breakfast is of great variety. The hotel also provide shuttle bus service to and from the airport. And the train to city centre is only less than 10 minutes walk away (Line 2 Haitian San Road Station). I went to Nanjing East Road station and it costs only around rmb 6? The hotel room is very clean and although it is not big, it is very comfy. The only down point will be no paper and pen/pencil is provided in the room? Maybe guests can request for it? Will definitely recommend this hotel to travellers traveling to Shanghai.

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed. Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free. The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all. Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

GGuest UserThis classic hotel lives up to its reputation. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. Concierges Aaron and Katrina were particularly patient and detailed, making communication pleasant and smooth. Overall, the stay was comfortable and delightful. The hotel has a timeless charm, beautifully preserved like a beauty who defies age. The Long Bar, specially recommended by the concierge, is also exceptional. With the Bund and Oriental Pearl Tower outside the window and the Waldorf Astoria inside, it offers a truly superb experience of Shanghai's Bund. Highly recommended! 👍 However, do note that you need to be on a higher floor to enjoy a full panoramic view of the Bund. The picture shows the view from the 17th floor.

GGuest UserMercure Shanghai Yu Garden on the Bund Best location and 5-stars to the patient staff that make a Shanghai visit memorable! Great communication with the hotel staff that made us feel most welcome with a toiletries package for a 4-night stay. Shanghai can be intimidating to intrepid travellers that don’t speak Chinese, which is why many foreigners join organised tours. We appreciate the welcome email prior to arrival with directions. We were spoiled with the 5-star cruise aboard the Yangzi Explorer discovering cities along the Yangtze River in a tour group with bilingual guides. There are so many optional activities in Shanghai, and these were the highlights suggested by the hotel staff that spoke in English and occasionally used a translation device for clear communication. They wrote the Chinese name which was helpful as we wandered the maze of streets in this old part of Shanghai. The staff were patient with our limited Chinese and Lucas helped us with Chinese lessons. These were the top picks, all within walkable distance, except ERA2. · TAN Sichuan in Yu Garden for dinner on arrival · The famous Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant in Yu Garden for the traditional handmade xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) for brunch · High tea · Dinner at The Fellas (chateaubriand for two) rooftop bar with a a breathtaking view of the Bund and Pudong skyline · Jazz in the Long Bar in Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on the Bund, though we also went to hear the Jazz Band in Peace Hotel but don’t waste your money on the CNY480pp minimum spend where there was no vibe where even the musicians seemed bored. Great lively vibe in the Long Bar for a FUNtastic night enjoying cocktails and music with same prices we pay at home in a spectacular setting · POP on the Bund (Three on the Bund): Rooftop venue with 270° panoramic views of the Huangpu River and Pudong skyline · Yu Garden, People’s Square, Shanghai Museum and nightly walk along the Bund to view the futuristic Pudong skyline lit up across the river is an absolute must. · ERA2, Spirit of Shanghai at World Circus – 250rmb pre-pay on Trip.com with clear directions, every seat is good though there are 3 prices at the box office. #Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden on the Bund #Trip.com # TANSichuanYuGarden #TheFellas # NanxiangSteamedBunRestaurantYuGarden # Long BarWaldorf-AstoriaHotel #POPontheBund #ERA2 We love Trip.com! SsignxService: The best hotel I've ever stayed at! No exaggeration. I've tried many hotels in Shanghai, including Shangri-La (Jingan, Pudong), Ritz-Carlton (Pudong), Peninsula (Bund), Shanghai Tower J-Hotel, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski, Disney hotels, Westin, Kerry Centre, Sheraton... Apart from Banyan Tree, which I'm not interested in, and St. Regis, which I tried in Sanya, and Waldorf Astoria, which I haven't had the chance to visit yet, I've checked out almost all the hotels my child and I were interested in. Honestly, W truly impressed me. From purchasing the package and booking the dates in advance to phone communication, the staff consistently displayed genuine warmth and professionalism. They meticulously noted all my requests, ensuring accurate internal communication. On the day of arrival, I wasn't feeling well and my tone wasn't great. Yet, the front desk staff listened attentively and with incredible patience throughout. This level of internal training deeply impressed me. There was none of the arrogance I've experienced at the Peninsula or Ritz-Carlton; instead, it was full of understanding for the customer. I actually want to come back and stay again soon! 😂 I even joked with the hotel staff, asking if this excellent service was because I booked a suite. 😝 But then again, I had suites at Shanghai Tower J-Hotel and Ritz-Carlton too, and the service there was... well, let's just say it was different. At the W, it's not just the front desk and lobby; even the staff helping with the elevator and the cleaning crew in the basement are incredibly cheerful and sincere. I love this fresh, uplifting energy and team. Facilities: The facilities are clean and hygienic, and every room has a bidet toilet seat, which is a nice touch! Environment: Very clean, and most importantly, the view across the river is absolutely stunning. Hygene: The hygiene is excellent, very clean. And their response time is super fast. If I had to pick one downside, it would be that the配套 facilities at Magnolia Plaza are a bit too low-end, haha. They really don't match the W's standard.

GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!

CCurious TravellerGreat location if you are heading for Disneyland or has an early flight to catch the next morning. Otherwise it is quite far from Shanghai city center - JingAn area- with no traffic - 45 min taxi ride) The hotel offers free shuttle to Disneyland which departs the hotel at 7:20am; and returns to the hotel at 10:20pm. It was a bit late for us since we finished watching the fireworks at 830pm. (Disneyland closes at 9:30pm ). So we just took a taxi (very few people waiting and cost ~RMB50; while the online car service costs ~R30 but the waiting area was very congested. The free shuttle to Putong airport departs on the hour and starts from 4 or 5am and takes less than 30min. Need to book one day in advance at the front desk. Our 3 persons family room has a double bed and a proper single bed( not fold up bed). Spacious enough for luggages. The negatives - we booked and paid for 3 persons - but hotel only offered breakfast for 2. We booked 2 nights but only has breakfast for one day. Strangest arrangement I have ever seen. BF - has reasonable options of Chinese and western cuisine . Noodle Bar was the best. Night snack- also has noodle bar with dumplings and congee.

EEyka A.I had a very pleasant stay at Waiting Century Hotel (Shanghai Jing’an Railway Station). The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient, especially for travellers. It is close to Shanghai Railway Station, metro stations, and there are halal restaurants nearby, which made it very convenient for us as Muslim travellers. I was also pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded me to a smart room for free, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Another great facility is the self-service laundry, which was very helpful for travellers, especially those staying for several days or travelling with kids. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai, especially families and Muslim travellers looking for a clean hotel in a strategic location with useful facilities. GGuest UserEverything about this hotel was great! The staff were very patient and helpful when I called with questions before checking in. The front desk was also very welcoming and efficient during check-in. Whenever I had questions during my stay, the hotel staff responded and helped me right away. Even the breakfast at the restaurant was delicious (I personally loved it!). The housekeeping staff kept the room very clean, and anything I needed was delivered promptly. The location is also super convenient for getting around. It completely exceeded my expectations! I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

CCarol Lim KHStayed at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong for one night, and it was truly a memorable experience. We were two female travelers and booked a Skyline View Twin Room. The room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed, with a modern yet luxurious feel. The highlight was definitely the stunning skyline view—especially at night, the city lights created a breathtaking atmosphere right from the comfort of our room. It was a perfect setting to relax and unwind. The beds were extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens that ensured a restful sleep. The room was impeccably clean, and every detail reflected the hotel’s high standards. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a well-designed layout, a strong shower, and a generous bathtub, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The service was exceptional, as expected from a Ritz-Carlton property. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The location in Pudong is very convenient, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and key attractions. It is an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and service. It was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely return in the future.
