The twin room was quite spacious, with two 1.2-meter-wide single beds and enough space in between to get out of bed easily. On the other side, I could open my 30-inch suitcase. The price of around 1,000 RMB during the winter holiday, including breakfast, was acceptable. I think Ctrip had a package without breakfast for 600-700 RMB per night. However, those packages need to be booked in advance, which isn't suitable for a traveler like me who needs flexibility. One thing to note is that the duvet didn't have a cover, it was just a sheet over the duvet. It felt unhygienic (because the exposed part was the duvet itself, which isn't changed) and wasn't very comfortable. I was quite bothered by it, but since I was traveling with a child, it wasn't convenient to switch hotels. The heating was very strong, almost too hot for the duvet. The breakfast on the first floor was plentiful, mainly Asian-style.

We stayed at Toyosu-tei. The private open-air bath offered a unique experience: despite it being winter and quite cold, our bodies remained toasty warm in the water, yet the towel on our heads actually froze – quite an experience! The views were beautiful. There's also an excellent yakiniku restaurant conveniently located nearby with delicious food.

My overall experience during this stay was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the Hakodate Morning Market, making travel incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The front desk and all staff members were very friendly and professional, always patiently assisting with any issues. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. Overall, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I revisit this city.

SUCH AN AMAZING HOTEL!! Coming from an airbnb in tokyo to here is an absolute 180 degrees change. We just book the standard twin room but it is quite spacious and very clean!! And the toilet is very spacious using the bathtub is alsoo veryy nice!! The staff is very very nice and when they notice from my passport that it is my birthday they kindly offer to decorate my room. Above all the hotel is just RIGHT BESIDE the station so it is very convenient. PLUS POINT that the hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS in the winter per my pic below. Conveniently located very close to the JR station, surrounded by the bustling Yokocho Market. It's a short walk to the seaside, and the hotel even offers sea views. The complimentary toiletries provided are quite comprehensive.

The location is super convenient, especially in heavy snow. When the roads are covered in slush, it's a huge relief that this hotel has direct access from JR, so you don't even have to go outside. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, and the view is great – the west-facing scenery is particularly beautiful.

The hotel can be accessible if you ate taking the airport bus, the bus stops right at the back of the hotel. The hotel is directly connected to the underground walkway in sapporo so you dont have to worry about heavy snow or rain. The breakfast offers a wide variety of food choices and you can choose from either the intl buffet or the traditional japanese restaurant. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to JR station and within walking distance. It's right by the sea, with a seafood market just below, which makes breakfast convenient. There's also a convenience store nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and offer beautiful sea views from the windows. The front desk service is great. My favorite part was the public indoor and outdoor onsen on the upper floor of the hotel, where you can soak while enjoying the sea view. Even the lounge area offers sea views – it's fantastic! Highly recommend this place! 👍

Traveled with friends and we were very happy with the hotel; it was conveniently located for getting everywhere. Hakodate's million-dollar night view is definitely worth seeing. The hotel is also very close to Hakodate Station, and the onsen was great – a really comfortable stay.

GGuest UserVery very good! The photos are very nice, the breakfast in the restaurant is also delicious, and any photos you take are very good. You can get a yukata after checking in. We didn't know we could choose our favorite yukata until the last day, so we didn't take any photos. Other than that, it's very good, the attitude is also very good, it's worth choosing.

MM741967****My experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to Odori Park and Susukino commercial district, making sightseeing and shopping incredibly convenient. The rooms are modernly designed with expansive views, and the bedding comfort is top-notch. The front desk staff are fluent in English and proactively offered maps and transportation advice, providing thoughtful and professional service. The breakfast selection is extensive, featuring both Japanese and Western options. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is an ideal choice for an efficient and comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back.

GGuest UserI highly, highly recommend this hotel! It's located near Goryokaku Park, easily accessible by tram from JR Hakodate Station. This area is quite central, with museums, shopping malls, and plenty of great food options nearby – there's even a super delicious soup curry place! A Lawson and 7-Eleven are less than a minute away, and it's also close to Yunokawa Onsen. I recommend this hotel for a couple of reasons. First, the room was exceptionally clean and spacious. I stayed in a king-size room by myself, and it felt more than ample; I could easily fit several suitcases without an issue. Second, the staff's service attitude was excellent – very polite and courteous. I had a meeting in the morning and requested that the cleaning staff not disturb me during that time. Throughout my stay, no one ever knocked on my door; they quietly cleaned the adjacent rooms. Later, when I returned from sightseeing in the evening, I found a bag of fresh toiletries hanging on my door! I was so touched! They were considerate enough not to disturb me by knocking, yet also made sure I had new bathroom supplies. I was deeply impressed by the hotel's service and thoughtful consideration! This was truly the most satisfying hotel experience of my Hokkaido trip. The price was reasonable, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were warm and polite. Next time I visit Hakodate, I'm booking this hotel directly.

Rrosie_qiqiRoom is spacious with a private garden & outdoors onsen. Welcome puddings were very yummy and yet the buffet in there was very insipid. Frankly speaking, the only two good foods there are sashimi and rice, what a shame. Others: Very close to the lake, 1-2 minutes walk; a large and cozy lobby with good jazz music from an antique JBL sound system; live music performance every night; lots of books; fireplace and roasted marshmallows; lovely shop on the 3rd floor (prized reasonably). All is well except the buffet. Did not try the Japanese one (needs to book and pay a lot) hence a bit regretted.

EE2772****Facilities: Very good. A charming, compact choice in Hakodate, but it gets incredibly crowded. You have to queue for the elevator in the evenings. Hygiene: Decent. Environment: Very convenient surroundings with convenience stores, supermarkets, and plenty of dining options. Service: Excellent. They even offer a shuttle bus to various attractions.

CcyepupuThis is our second year staying at Kita Sinyi. Our wonderful experience with the food and drinks here last year made it an easy choice to return without hesitation when visiting Doto again this year. The facilities were excellent. The buffet for our two-night half-board stay offered a great variety of main courses, and the Wagyu beef and desserts were a huge hit with the kids. However, the hotel's pricing for two adults and two children is quite unreasonable. Last year, we had to directly request a room upgrade. This year, with the hotel fully booked, we were charged an additional 50,000 JPY for our 6-year-old child over two days just for meals, with no extra bed provided. Moreover, our previous email request for assistance in booking a taxi was flatly refused.

AAnonymous UserAn absolutely worthwhile night! The private onsen was high quality and the hotel offered great privacy. Both meals we had were delicious, and the service was excellent. The scenery was breathtaking. It was one of those places you never want to check out of. They even offered complimentary snacks upon departure, and the bar had a wide selection of food in the evening. Strolling in the snow after dinner was also beautiful.

WWingStefanieThe room was very spacious. Dinner and breakfast were already set up, though there were slightly fewer hot dishes. The hot springs were very comfortable; the whole town smelled of sulfur, and my skin felt smooth after soaking. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Bear Ranch, passing what seemed to be the central convenience store, 7-Eleven. Since it was close to a holiday, many shops were closed, making it a good spot for a relaxing hot spring retreat. For scenic views, Lake Toya is more highly recommended.

LlulukalinThe room was quite spacious and even had an induction cooktop. Both the hotel and the room were clean, even though the facilities weren't brand new. The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for New Year's Day, which was when I visited. I especially want to mention one of the front desk staff, a ********* lady. She was incredibly warm, spoke so nicely, and was super accommodating – really went above and beyond. The hotel also has a large public bath where you can relax. The breakfast spread was extensive, and you could even make your own seafood rice bowl.

GGuest UserOur reservation for this hotel was done at the last minute. I managed to get the last room available after we missed our flight as a result of a snowstorm. Our travelling companions were less fortunate, and their reservation glitched out, likely due to the increased network traffic. However, thanks to the kind assistance of Yi Lin (who was a terrific polyglot fluent in both English, Japanese, and Chinese!), we were able to get things in order, and we had a very smooth check-in and reception. The rooms were very comfortable and the amenities provided were more than sufficient. We had a great view of the airport runway too. We were provided with ample drinks and snacks through the minibar, and our hotel meals, surprisingly, ended up being a highlight of our trip. We were more than satisfied with our rooms and the service provided to us by all the hotel staff. Cleanliness was immaculate, too.
