LLKKhorThe check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay.
What made our visit especially memorable was the thoughtful birthday surprise for my daughter. The hotel kindly prepared a complimentary cake and a handwritten birthday card, which made her feel very special and added a personal touch to our stay.
We also appreciated the complimentary children’s activities, such as cookie-making sessions, which kept the kids entertained and created wonderful family memories.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you to the team for their hospitality and for going the extra mile to make our daughter’s birthday celebration so special. We would be happy to return in the future.

GGuest UserHotel was in a nice location, quiet and peaceful. Amenities were well maintained, but I hope the swimming pool could glass panel could be better maintained. It looks “mouldy” and dirty. Also, the shower door inside the common toilet in the suite I was staying in on the 21st floor would not fully open. The location of the towel rails needs to be changed to avoid any major accidents like the door shattering

AAnonymous User2nd stay here and I would think standards have dropped a bit in terms maintenance. The first time I came, they were newly opened and I had a good impression but not so this time round. Room had a mild musty smell and toilet hardware was loose and even dangling. For the price, was expecting better but that being said, location is superb and the mall next to the hotel has almost every shop for all needs, very extensive. Love love the easy access to filtered water outside the rooms.

MMcainI had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru, especially in the East Wing room. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day. Everything was neatly arranged, and the bed was very comfortable, giving me a good night’s rest throughout my stay.
What I appreciated the most was the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The facilities were in good condition, and everything felt well taken care of. The hotel environment itself was calm and welcoming, which added to the whole experience.
The staff were also friendly, polite, and helpful whenever needed, making the stay even more enjoyable. Service was smooth from check-in to check-out, which I really value when staying at a hotel.
Overall, I would say Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Johor Bahru. The East Wing room in particular is definitely worth it. I would happily come back again and recommend it to others.

WW.R1991My first stay at Sheraton Johor Hotel, and I’m honestly speechless!
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, everything felt thoughtfully put together. It’s the little details that really make a difference. The concierge team was always warm, friendly, and ready to help. Every corner of the hotel smelled amazing,even the restrooms! Check-in was smooth, the room was beautiful, and every corner was picture-perfect.
Breakfast was fantastic, with an impressive selection ranging from American to Asian cuisine. There were so many delicious options that I was truly spoiled for choice.
The pool was absolutely amazing! I loved the day beds, and the swimming pool playground was a wonderful addition for families with young children.
One thing worth mentioning is that there’s a mall connected to the hotel. Although it’s not a huge mall, it has a great mix of quality stores, and there’s even an entire level dedicated to spas if you’re looking to relax and pamper yourself.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’ll definitely be back again in the near future. Highly recommended!

LLinnLeoMy husband and I stayed at level 26 Tower 1 of the hotel for two nights. It seemed that our room had been renovated since our last visit in April 2026. The furniture and mattress were new, and the new wardrobe had been relocated next to the bed instead of being behind the room entrance. The dressing table was smaller than before, but we didn't mind the minor changes. Overall, the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The hotel staff were polite, friendly, and cleaned our room promptly each day.
The only downside was that the guests in the adjoining room returned around 3:00 a.m. and were making a lot of noise. As there was a connecting door between the rooms, we could hear them quite clearly, which unfortunately interrupted our sleep. The soundproofing between the connecting rooms could be improved to minimise noise disturbances and provide a better night's rest.

GGuest UserRoom large but TV outdated, aircon not cold, no USB plug for charging despite hotel had undergone recent renovations, check in/out very slow despite only 2 guests in the line.
Hotel location is great with many food outlets within walking distance and also night market on every Monday evening . Next to main road and also very near to JB town. Price wise very competitive.
Would still choose to stay here the next trip.

I stayed at Opero Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru from 24–25 June 2026 and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms that provided a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was equipped with everything needed for a short getaway.
The location is excellent, especially for shopping and dining, with convenient access to Southkey and other nearby attractions. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient during both check-in and check-out, making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free.
I also appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities and the overall welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. It offered great value for money and exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Johor Bahru and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
