I was visiting Lanzhou from Xi'an and booked the Hyatt Hotel. The overall service was great. Feeling a bit tired, I went to the sixth floor for a spa. The front desk staff was very attentive, and the environment was lovely, clean, and tidy. The therapist's technique was very professional, and they even gave me an eye mask for fatigue relief when I left. I also checked out the gym; the equipment and space are excellent, and the pool water looked clear. The staff there were also very patient. Next time, I'll definitely remember to bring my swimsuit for a dip. I'll be back! ☺️
This is the second time I have stayed here. The room is very spacious. Although it is an old hotel, I can feel the quality of the decoration and the facilities are complete. The hotel is very large, and the greenery, water system, pavilions and towers are all very beautiful. It is like living in a big park. It is a good choice for travel and leisure. It is very close to Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area, less than ten minutes' drive. We climbed Kongtong Mountain on the first day and brought the elderly with us. It rained on the second day. Just walk around the hotel and go to the swimming pool for free. The elderly had a lot of fun and were not tired. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the scenery, drank tea and chatted on the terrace of the room, and went to the restaurant to eat delicious hand-pulled lamb in the evening. The service staff are very enthusiastic, especially the Xiao Li team in the guest room building No. 5, who made us really feel what it means to feel at home. Thank you very much. I will stay here next time.

✨ Zhangye Jinglong International Hotel: Top-tier facilities that elevate the experience!
What a find on our trip to Zhangye! The hardware at Jinglong International Hotel far exceeded our expectations. From the public areas to the guest rooms, every detail shows thoughtful design and quality. Once you stay here, you won't want to go anywhere else!
The lobby design is truly a highlight. Its modern, light luxury style cleverly incorporates elements of Silk Road culture. The walls mimic the layered textures of Zhangye's Rainbow Mountains, and sophisticated soft furnishings like '驛路星蹄' (starry hooves on the ancient postal route) and '胡杨年轮' (poplar tree rings) are used instead of generic decorations. It feels grand and elegant, yet imbued with the unique ancient charm of the Northwest. Every photo you take here looks high-end, and the ambiance is simply amazing.
The guest rooms were an even greater surprise. Newly renovated, they are spacious and airy with excellent natural light and absolutely no unpleasant odors. The open layout feels expansive and not at all cramped. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly yet provides great support, so comfortable that you'll fall asleep the moment your head hits the pillow and wake up refreshed. All the in-room facilities are top-notch: every room comes with a mini-fridge, a silent humidifier, the popular Laifen high-speed hairdryer, and exclusive brand toiletries. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation, and the floors and countertops are spotlessly clean, making it perfect even for germaphobes. Plus, there's a smart home system for voice-controlled lighting and curtains, along with a smart toilet, adding both convenience and tech-savviness to your stay.
I have to rave about the self-service laundry room! The massive LG washer and dryer are incredibly practical. Their huge capacity easily handles a whole family's laundry, and you can wear your clothes straight after drying, so no more worries about dirty clothes on long trips. The laundry room is open 24 hours a day and free to use, which is so thoughtful and convenient. Besides this, the hotel also has a 24-hour gym, free EV charging stations, and smart robots that deliver items to your room 24/7 – a true blessing for anyone who enjoys convenience.
The hotel also caters to various needs: it's pet-friendly, so you can confidently bring your furry friends. A free parking lot and exclusive send-off service to the station are all available, showing incredibly thoughtful attention to detail. Located in the core of the new district, it's close to the night market and the train station, offering super convenient transportation to attractions like the Rainbow Mountains and Dafo Temple. The breakfast spread is so extensive you'll be spoiled for choice, with over 200 varieties of Chinese and Western dishes, pastries, desserts, and freshly squeezed juices. The authentic Zhangye beef noodles taste superb, offering a true taste of local flavor.
Whether it's the facilities, service details, or location, everything is impeccable. The value for money is outstanding. If you're traveling to Zhangye, just book this hotel – you won't regret it!

The hotel's private car driver contacted me in advance for airport pick-up, and within a short 5-minute drive, I already felt the warmth of Lanzhou locals. Miss He at the front desk proactively upgraded my room, offering a panoramic view of the T3 terminal runway. As night fell, the light and shadow of planes taking off and landing resembled a dynamic art painting. The hallway transformed into an immersive art gallery, with Qingyang shadow puppetry (an intangible cultural heritage) displays and Dunhuang-inspired decorations complementing each other, making every step resonate with the rhythm of Silk Road culture.
The room design is a 'detail-lover's dream.' The smart room control system adjusts lighting and curtains with a single touch. The bathroom, with its wet/dry separation, is equipped with high-end amenities, especially the extra-large bathtub paired with soft lighting. While washing away travel fatigue, I could also gaze at the airport's night view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, making a business trip feel like a holiday. The bedding was just the right firmness, and with the windows closed, the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a full night's sleep even though it's close to the runway. The dining was equally impressive. The breakfast at Xuanhe All-Day Dining combined local Gansu cuisine specialties with Western classics. The freshly made beef noodles had a rich broth, complemented by fresh fruits and freshly ground coffee, starting the day with energy. The gym facilities were professional, allowing me to stretch and relax even during business breaks.
Four-star pricing, five-star experience, and an even higher level of cultural resonance. Lanzhou Airport PARKVUE is not just a hotel; it's a cultural emblem of the Silk Road air hub – transforming a fleeting stopover into a poetic journey. Worth experiencing!

Yellow River Yinran is a very nice quality hotel. It is very artistically designed (see photos). The reception staff were helpful, and in particular, the dining room staff were friendly in assisting a non-Chinese speaking guest with food allergies! The bed was comfortable, the room with a view onto the Yellow River. I would stay there again.

Staying at this hotel in the Dunhuang desert was such great value for money! 🏜️ It's super convenient, just a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport.
The room was spacious, clean, and had a business-chic vibe! The bed was incredibly soft; once you lay down, you won't want to get up. You know how desert cities are – it gets so dry at night you question your existence. But the hotel provided a humidifier and 8 bottles of water daily. I poured 4 into the humidifier next to my bed, and it made such a difference, so much more comfortable.
The shower pressure was fantastic, making for a truly enjoyable shower. The hairdryer was a Laifen, even more powerful than my own Dyson! There's also a pool table in the lobby downstairs, and the gym was perfectly adequate.
Definitely get the breakfast! The beef noodles and lamb noodles with a bit of chili were just as good as anything you'd find outside. The waffles were freshly baked, crispy, and delicious. The price was great too; I honestly think it was worth it 👍

The room was great and offered excellent value for money. The front desk service was fantastic and very responsive. The only downside was the room service, which was a bit slow, but I assume that was due to staff shortages during the New Year period. The hotel has a nice night view and a very good location.
Dissatisfied. First, the room was poorly soundproofed. I could hear my neighbors opening and closing doors and talking, and I didn't get a good night's sleep. Soundproofing is a minimum requirement. Second, the breakfast was limited in variety. The juice was hot, but the toast didn't have butter. The restaurant was small, and we happened to run into a tour group of elderly people, which was a poor experience. Third, the room was actually small, the hallway was narrow, and the bathroom wasn't separate; the door faced the bed directly, which was a design issue. The service was acceptable, and a souvenir was given upon check-out. Objectively speaking, it's a far cry from the Four Points by Sheraton Dunhuang and the Novotel Jiayuguan I stayed at the previous two nights. After all, it's a hotel of this level and price.
The hotel's location wasn't good; the noise from outside traffic at night really affected my sleep. Despite specifically requesting a quiet room in advance, I wasn't given one, and even after asking to switch rooms later that evening, it was still very noisy. It was a terrible experience. I'm leaving Tianshui early and won't be back.
This morning, we drove over three hours to Tianshui and checked into the Four Points by Sheraton, which opened earlier this year and is supposedly the most upscale hotel in the city. After a short nap, we drove to Fuxi Temple and Tianshui Museum in the afternoon. The entire drive was a nightmare; electric bikes and pedestrians randomly weaving through the fast lane created utter chaos. Neither Fuxi Temple nor the museum were impressive, and the sightseeing felt disorganized and messy.
We specifically went to Qingshi Lane to buy crispy little flower buns and also picked up some Gangu chili powder as a souvenir. For dinner, we bought braised pork belly sandwiches from Longxi and tried mala tang for the first time. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not great either. My planned three-day trip has been cut short again and again; I've decided to visit Maijishan Grottoes tomorrow morning and then head straight back to Xi'an. The Maijishan Grottoes are quite unique, with charges per grotto. I guess Tianshui is just one of those places that's neither fun nor has good food [grinning face].

AAnonymous UserPicking this hotel is the right decision. The overall stay experience is very satisfactory! It is extremely suitable for my needs.
1. The hotel is conveniently located, only 15-20 minutes drive from the airport, which is a blessing for passengers on early and late flights, without worrying about the traffic problem of catching the plane;
2. The service at the front desk is considerate and warm, Miaomiao is warm and thoughtful and takes the initiative to greet, and the communication is pleasant😃
3. The room is large and clean, and it is very comfortable to live in, which adds a lot to this trip.
Overall, this hotel is not only in a great location, but also has a good service. It is highly recommended to friends who need to catch a flight and pursue comfortable accommodation!
GGuest UserWe were not impressed, especially for the price. We've stayed at hotels that are similarly priced and expected much better.
To be fair, the hotel itself is beautiful. The architecture, the room interiors, and the breakfast and drinks to get were all very nice.
However, the problems started at arrival. We were told the afternoon tea was cancelled and the restaurant was fully booked because of an event. No one told us this in advance, which was very disappointing.
The check-in was disorganized. The receptionist (who was also the manager) turned away to help someone else while I was still talking to her. She didn't give us our room keys, saying the bell boy would open the door. But when we got to the room, the bell boy had to walk all the way back to get the keys. The bell boys were actually very friendly and helpful—the only good part.
To make things stranger, the female manager called me a few hours after we checked out. She asked how the event affected our stay. I was busy and rushing around, and the call worried me—I thought I had left something behind. Asking for our opinion after we left was too late. They should have asked us during our stay, or better yet, informed us before we even arrived.
So, while the place is beautiful, the poor communication and service ruined the experience. We wouldn't stay here again for the price.

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

Service: I have a lot to say about the service. I booked this hotel because it offered a shuttle service. I had already arranged for a pick-up. Just before my train arrived, I realized it was Lanzhou Station, not Lanzhou West. I quickly contacted the front desk, and they said they only pick up from West Station. I said, 'Alright then, Ctrip's main page didn't specify which station.' So I decided I'd just use the drop-off service later, as I was staying one night and leaving from West Station the next day. When I arrived at the hotel, I tried to book the drop-off service, but the front desk said they didn't have anyone at 6:30 AM; they start at 7 or 8 AM. I said, 'Your shuttle service is really great! I booked this hotel for the shuttle service, and I didn't get to use it for either pick-up or drop-off.' I'm truly speechless. I've attached screenshots of my booking page.
