5-Star Hotels in Gansu, China

The hotel was very nice, new and clean. Service was excellent and the staff were very helpful with our needs and in recommending places for us to visit or eat. Location was great as there were many shops and food choices around the hotel which was right inside the Old Street. Our only issue was getting our taxi / ride hailing cars to pick us / drop us off at the hotel entrance because most drivers were not aware that they can drive in through the side road.

Location is good, staff friendly and able to speak English, very helpful and nice. The room was decently decorated however there were a few inconveniences you would not expect from Hilton. Curtains were missing, noticed too late, in the morning the light was so bright through the sheer, my sleep was disturbed. The room was extremely hot (27 degrees celsius) while the ac was working it still felt too hot. The mattresses felt somewhat different from other Hilton hotels. I struggled falling asleep and kept waking up throughout the night. The internet speed is locked behind a Hilton membership (2025, having wifi locked behind membership is insane) The bathtub didn’t have any toiletries nearby, if you want to take a bath and wash yourself you will have to get out of the bathtub and reach for the shower gel or whatever else you need or bring your toiletries with you and put them next to the bathtub before getting in. The view was nice however the sofa in front of the big windows with the city view had stains and dark spots on it making it a bit uncomfortable to sit on it for too long.

The main draw of this hotel is the location and leisure facilities. If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. The pool and gym are the most impressive facilities I’ve come across in a hotel. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Thought the room was comfortable enough but I suppose if you weren’t using the hotel facilities you may feel it’s overpriced - we didn’t think this because we used the excellent pool and gym. We had a couple of cocktails in the lounge bar that were excellent and the service in the hotel was very attentive.

The front desk concierge service attitude was very good, and they also gave us drink coupons. We came back in the evening and exchanged for two cups of eight-treasure tea. The ingredients we chose were quite interesting. The lady Miaomiao and the brother Xiao Zhao on duty in the afternoon of the 24th were particularly good. They recommended that we use ** to buy breakfast, which was 50% off and very affordable. The guy on duty at the gym on the evening of the 24th was also very good. The breakfast service of the guy on duty at breakfast on the 25th was also super good. The latte art was well received. The breakfast was rich and fresh. The hotel facilities were new, the rooms were spacious and the scenery was pleasant. I highly recommend it.

The location is very good, this area is quiet, it is very convenient to live here if you watch the performance in the Olympic Sports next to it. The service is very good, the health is not bad, the shower may have something to do with the water pressure, after all, the Hansgrohe used by the brand is not bad, the water flow is a bit small, all aspects are very good 👍

The hotel is very good, cost-effective, courteous service, and fruit is given. The bedding is comfortable and the two-meter bed is spacious. The overall environment is very good and I will come again. The sound insulation is average and acceptable. It should be fine if the windows are closed.

The service at the hotel we stayed in during this trip was amazing! From the warm smile at check-in at the front desk, to the meticulous and considerate room service, to the thoughtful guidance of the restaurant waiters, every staff member makes people feel like spring breeze. Especially the two beauties Xiao Cao and Xiao Zhang at the front desk, they responded quickly when needed, making people feel the warmth of home. Next time I come to Jiuquan, I must stay at Jiuquan Hotel! And the breakfast of this hotel is also very good, with everything you need. The local special snacks are very delicious, and the desserts, drinks and fruits are all fresh. If my stomach does not allow it, I don't want to end this meal.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are relatively new, and the bath water is hot and very comfortable. Hygiene: It's clean and no dead spots were found. Environment: The hotel is a bit far away from the old city, but next to it is the 4A-level scenic spot East Lake Park. The night view is beautiful and you can overlook the Qilian Snow Mountain. Service: I received a call from the hotel front desk in the morning and took the initiative to reserve a parking space for us. We received warm hospitality as soon as we arrived at the hotel door. The staff were proactive and professional. The welcome snacks in the room gave us a small surprise. The restaurant staff also introduced us to the scenery of Jiayuguan, which left us with wonderful memories.

As the last city of my sister and I's trip to the Northwest, I chose this hotel which opened last year. The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The front desk receptionists Xiao Rui and Xiao Dai were very enthusiastic and arranged for us to stay in the executive floor twin room with a wide view of the new city. The interior design is modern and the supporting facilities are complete, showing the Sheraton standard. The mattress and bedding are comfortable and the facilities are complete. At 9:30 in the evening, we went to the Chinese restaurant and enjoyed high-level service, tea and refreshing and delicious Cantonese cuisine, which soothed our southern stomachs. This morning, I went to the executive lounge to drink coffee, which was very comfortable.
