The hotel fully lived up to our expectations! The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. The smart room controls were very convenient and easy to use. The hotel grounds are lovely, with scenic walking paths and swings that create a very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was not extremely varied, but everything was delicious — be sure to try the shaomai! In the evenings, you can order local Chinese dishes prepared by the chef. The food is excellent, although many dishes are designed for sharing and the portions are quite large. There are also snacks available at the reception desk. The weather in the park can change quickly, but the hotel sells both raincoats and shoe covers for rainy days (surprisingly useful!). The hotel also provides a shuttle to the park entrance, which is only a short distance away. I would also like to give special thanks to the hotel staff for the airport transfers and for their invaluable assistance throughout our stay. They helped us plan our sightseeing itinerary, purchase tickets, and were incredibly responsive to any questions we had — whether about the room or even our travel plans during the day. Their support made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you so much ❤️ When planning the trip, I recommend allowing at least two full days for the park itself, plus another one or two days for Tianmen Mountain and the Glass Bridge. Keep in mind that these attractions are about an hour’s drive from the main park and the hotel. I would also highly recommend visiting the 72 Wonder Tower in Zhangjiajie City in the evening. The atmosphere there is incredible, with live performances, actors in costume, and beautiful light installations that make the whole place feel magical.

We spent just one night at Foggy Valley, but that was enough time to fall in love with this place! The room was very spacious, and the view from the window was simply magnificent. You can tell that the owners and staff paid great attention to quality — everything is made for comfortable sleep and a proper rest. The atmosphere in the room invites you to relax and take your time. I would especially like to mention the staff. The team is simply superb! All the employees speak excellent English and are ready to offer any support, handling any questions with a smile and genuine care. A special thank you goes to the girl who organized an unforgettable walk for us and hosted a tea ceremony. It was incredibly warm and heartfelt — it's moments like these that make a holiday truly special! Another huge plus is that you can order massage services to your room. After a long flight, it was exactly what we needed — our bodies were so grateful! The breakfast is excellent and is served in a very picturesque spot, which charges you with energy for the whole day. The hotel also has a restaurant with a very large and varied menu — we had dinner there, and the food was top-notch, everything was delicious. The hotel grounds are a work of art in themselves. It's especially beautiful in the evening when the lights come on. You can feel the tremendous attention to detail that adds even more charm and beauty to this place. Even in just one night, Foggy Valley gave us so many impressions. We will definitely come back again to enjoy this place for longer! The hotel boasts a great location, convenient parking, and clean, tidy rooms with beautiful night views! The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the rice noodles were delicious 🤤 The receptionists were warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions 👍👍👍 The hotel is right next to the subway station (Yingwan Town Station), making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's only one stop away from Orange Isle and also very close to Yuelu Mountain Park. This time, I stopped by on my way back, so the itinerary was a bit rushed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. 😊😊😊 The two night views are actually from my room window. I didn't take pictures of all the breakfast options, just my own 🤭🤭🤭

The hotel primarily offers river view and city view rooms. The river view rooms are more spacious, come with a bathtub and a refrigerator, and offer views of the Xiang River at night. The city view rooms are a bit smaller but quieter, providing views of the IFS night light show and the surrounding buildings. Both room types have a good environment with separate wet and dry areas in the bathrooms. Any issues reported were promptly explained and followed up on, so the service was quite good. The hotel's location is also very convenient, close to the city center with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby.

Great location, amazing people, clean rooms, but no pool to swim in. The staff is really good. They are very friendly and helpful. The room is truly beautiful. For breakfast lunch for dinner, they drive you down the mountain for two minutes to another hotel, their restaurant Terrace and garden there is really beautiful and the people are very friendly. However, we expected that there would be a pool but this was not the case, this is very misleading given that there are pictures of pools on the listing… all by all we had a great time at this hotel and they have been very helpful arranging cars for us. No pool was very disappointing.

The location of the hotel is great, but what really makes the place special is the very friendly and competent staff. At check-in, we got a thorough explanation of the mountains in Zhangjiajie and what routes and itineraries would be fitting for our stay, and the best way to reduce waiting in line. So I would highly recommend staying here; if I am ever in Zhangjiajie, I know where to stay :)

A hotel worth revisiting: The location is excellent and quiet, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. In particular, the front desk service was incredibly professional, thoughtful, and enthusiastic, almost anticipating our every need (they thoughtfully helped us purchase tickets, proactively upgraded our room, and recommended reliable and delicious restaurants... 100 points!)

The hotel is clean and the service is great; they respond promptly to any requests. It's located in a small park in the city, making it very quiet and offering excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Zhangjiajie. They can also help you purchase discounted tickets, just remember to contact the hotel in advance to arrange it.

The best hotel we had on a 30 days trip through China starting in Chongquing to Shenzhen. This was THE ONLY staff speaking English fluently. Especially the super friendly girl doing the reception. She is the soul of this hotel. She managed everything people needed and was always smiling and really cute. The room are huge, the bathroom as well. It’s excellent clean and super cozy. They offer 2 washing machines, 2 tumble dryers and laundry detergent for free 👏👏 great. Best breakfast we ever had in China for both Chinese and foreign guest. Definitely world class premises- the only one in 30 days roadtrip. Free parking spaces and a very well equipped supermarket right in from the reception 👌 only negative thing is the woman sitting right in front of the hotel, screaming 10 times „hello“ at the guest and trying to sell her raw pumpkins. Not once, not twice- but everytime a guest shows up. I mean-what should a hotel guest do with a raw pumpkin??? I won’t start a barbecue in my room 🤦🏼♀️ she is extremely stupid and extremely annoying. If the hotel could manage to remove her from that place, that would be nothing negative to mention. Thank you guys for making our stay really remarkable. 🙏🏻❤️

I stayed in Changsha for three nights, and overall, it was a good experience. What left the deepest impression were a few small details, which I'd like to highlight. First, the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. One night, I returned after midnight and found my key card demagnetized. The staff member at desk #6 immediately helped me resolve it without any sign of impatience. Second, the toothbrushes provided in the room were soft-bristled, not the stiff kind that hurt your gums, which many hotels fail to offer. Third, on my second day, it happened to rain. Before I left, the front desk proactively asked if I needed to borrow an umbrella, which was also free. Fourth, I had to catch a high-speed train on the day of checkout, so I left my luggage at the front desk. When I returned to pick it up in the afternoon, I noticed that the front desk staff had been keeping an eye on it. My suitcase hadn't been moved around, and they even reminded me to check for any forgotten items. Individually, these small things might seem insignificant, but together, they make you feel that this hotel genuinely puts effort into what they do, which naturally elevates the overall experience.
