MM.N.ButtLovely little hotel tucked up a cobbled street, just off Kalavasos village centre piazza. Possibly a converted old residence, lots of character.
My trip required me to be near this village to easily visit friends residing there, and I just required a comfortable bed and clean bathroom as would be out during daytime.
This small hotel met my requirements.
Modern fully equipped bathroom, with rainshower, and large tub too ( jacuzzi function wasn't working). Towels changed daily.
Large comfortable bed with clean sheets.
Stocked minibar.
Free drinking water not provided.
Room furniture was a bit rustic but in usable condition.
Room corners etc could be cleaned a bit more carefully.
Breakfast buffet was included in my room rate and was minimal but sufficient, unless you're a heavy eater.
Overall, if I ever revisit Kalavasos, I may pick this place again, as it met my needs plus manager and staff were quite pleasant.
Thank you!
GGuest UserExcellent, modern hotel.
Good pools, good beach (a strip of stone on entry, but sandy bottom further on). Nice seaside walk running for miles to Larnaca.
A room a bit small but functional. Breakfast tasty and good quality.
We had a room with a sea view and it was a good choice. Other rooms may have a building site view ;-)
Negatives:
Mosquitos !!! There are mosquitos, even in November and we were punished for desire to sleep with open window listening to the sea.
Hotel should research for any small water deposits (building site?) and use some chemicals to rid off mosquitos.
The key card stopped working at 11.30 am - the reception explained that it was OK as in just 30 min at 12.00 is the check-out time. My wife was inside otherwise I would need to run 100 meters to reception to get my bags to the car.
No taverna or restaurant in walking distance. The neighbourhood pretty rough and not attractive.
GGuest UserA gorgeous beach and a gentle sea. What more could you want? The location is 5+. Everything else is just unimportant, like everyone else's. For a seaside getaway, you can't beat it.
KKAMELI came to spend my vacation time. The hotel has an excellent location and is very beautiful. The staff are very good and treat me kindly. The only thing I did not like was the food. For the price of the all exclusive, I expected the food to be much better. The breakfast is very delicious, but for lunch there are only a few choices and you cannot choose. Whatever you want and how much you want. There are things that you must pay for. Dinner is an open buffet. I did not like it personally, but the hotel in general is wonderful and I will definitely return to it.
ZZaman BilalMy stay at the hotel was mostly good — the room was clean and the reception staff were really helpful and lovely. The only downside was how noisy the neighbors were, which made it hard to relax. Overall, a decent stay but the noise was a big issue.
AAgneThe hotel staff and view is amazing. Food is really simple and good. Room was fantastic with sea view , very calm and quiet . I am happy we got room not to road view because it looked very crowded and noisy. The only bad things very unhygienic bathroom mostly shower-cocaroaches running and very untidy. Andhorrible smell after the night in all hotel-looks like farm smell ir smth like that. Very unclean coffee cups and coffee machines atbreakfast buffet. Overall i am satisfied with my
GGuest UserThe hotel is perfect, comfortable, clean. The only comment would be about the breakfast: it could be better and its location is probably good for the persons on the beach but not for the hotel hosts. The attendants were very nice and helpful.
TTudou KevinGood location, just beside the promenade, close to the intercity long-distance bus station and the Lanaka bus station, eating, drinking and having fun, public transportation to the surrounding cities and airports is more convenient.
But the front desk service attitude is relatively indifferent.
