LLZHWhen we first arrived the front desk told us that we reserved a smoking room. In the trip.com booking it does not say so though. The front desk said all similar rooms for non-smoking were booked out.
We went up to the room but it smelled so bad that we asked agin for a different room showing them the booking. According to the hotel the booking was not directly forward to them by trip.com but by a different service therefore it varied from our actual booking. They were nice enough to give us a different room which was non-smoking. Unfortunately the room still smelled strange - at least no smoke smell.
Additionally there was almost no hot water coming out from the tap. In the photo the hot water was fully turned on.
Another issue was the parking. The one night stay fee was 1000 Yen (not for 24h). We checked out at 11 a.m. but decided to eat lunch in town and leave the car at the hotel parking. We took out the car at 2 pm and had to pay an additional fee of 1200 yen.

GGuest UserWe had the most amazing time at Sodayama Onzen. It is a very special place to relax and unwind. Our room had a private onsen overloooking a stream in the forest. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the amazing food! It was a very special experience but way too much, especially in the mornings. But it was a great experience of fine Japanese cuisine. The staff was so friendly, communication with google translate helped.

ぷぷちょThe all-inclusive plan included delicious breakfast, a dinner buffet, and the lounge, leaving us full the whole time and very satisfied!
Guests included families, young groups, and people of all ages and genders.
Our room had an ocean view, and the sunset was beautiful.
The hot springs also had a sauna and open-air bath.
There was also a hot spring lounge, creating a luxurious space where you could relax!

The selection of amenities is extensive. While the self-service beverage area has a limited selection, the rest area is quite comfortable.

AAnonymous UserThe hot spring was very pleasant. There was also a sauna! I went to the rice shop in the facility, but I was a little disappointed that I made a mistake in calculating at the time of payment. The rice you have reserved seems to come out smoothly, but it takes time to order it on the spot. We recommend that you book dinner or eat outside.

ささとみちゃんI went to Hirome Market earlier than check-in time, but I was able to park my car in the parking lot. The open-air bath was also very nice, and the breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. The Thursday Market was right outside the inn, so I was able to buy fresh vegetables and fruits early in the morning. Thanks to this, I had a great trip.

GGuest UserThe room I stayed in was very clean and tidy. There is a TV, free wifi, the bathroom is very clean, the hardware facilities are first-class, and the service is very good. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
