We came with friends to relax. You are a wonderful place and for 25,000 rubles (for 2 rooms for 1 night) we were able to rent this wonderful recon. Everything is clean and tidy. They give you an extra brush and razor. You can take instant coffee for free. There are kettles in the rooms where you can boil water. Tap water is drinkable in the rivers. There are traditional robes and towels. In general, everything you need for your comfort. It was very comfortable to sleep. The mats were very soft and we slept just wonderfully. This is a quiet place. In general, the city is quiet. There are not many lights around and in this place you can observe the beautiful starry sky in good weather. I would definitely recommend this place because the administrators who meet me and live in this house were very friendly and hospitable. They gave me a detailed tour and told me how to turn things on and off, for which I am very grateful. This is a wonderful place to relax and the center is within walking distance, including temples. There are also temples in the area from this house.
No man hotel with technology of self check in but on the other hand in washrooms the water mixers are very old every time when you want some water you have to decide and both hot water and cold water taps adjust with each other to get required temperature of water. In small hotels and in backward areas now automatic water mixers are available you have to adjust just one knob and you will get water with desired temperature.
Very nice hotel if you want to experience traditional ryokan. Good services and very close to takachiho gorge especially if you want to go there early. Quiet and calm location too.
I stayed for 2 nights for the first time. I was confused about how to check in, but after that, it was smooth after the family members staying at the hotel taught me. The sandwiches I ate in the garden outside while watching the sunrise were the best. The free band drip coffee was also very delicious, the surroundings were quiet and I was able to take a walk, and I was able to refresh myself and mind. I also recommended it to my friends.
The inn itself is old, but there were casual worries everywhere in the inn, and I was able to spend comfortably. The main dish was carp dishes, but there was no mud at all, and the salt-grilled trout, carp, and trout were very delicious. Breakfast was also satisfactory. The landlady and other staff were smiling and polite. I joined one of the inns I wanted to visit again.
At first I saw only one photo and it looked a little scary to book, but I found the data of each booking website online and everyone's comments seemed good, so I decided to try it out, and the result was a very good experience! The hostess is old, only she and another sister are operating, but they are very thoughtful, although we can not speak the language, but use translation software, they are also very patient to listen to our needs. The room is a traditional Japanese-style bedroom, very large and comfortable! The bathroom is also very large, the bath water is ready to be covered with a board, if you mind others have used it, you may have to consider whether to use it. We also dine here at noon the next day, they have buckwheat noodles and some side dishes, very delicious! Next to it is the monument, the Fuyashiki is owned by the deceased male owner's family (the only photo of the kitchen was provided, but the kitchen of the house was not the place to stay), the hostess worked very hard to maintain, and also introduced us to the building materials and history. Although Shiba Village is very far away, if you want to experience the Japanese countryside accommodation experience, this is really suitable! It will be a rare experience!
Friendly staff and clean lodging.
We booked half board which was worthwhile as the food quality was great and especially when restaurants close early within the area, saved us looking for dinner. However, there are a few time slots we need to abide to, which is fine as attractions usually are closed by late afternoon anyway.
There is onsen in this accommodation, but it's not big. Enclosed onsen with no external views, and the water has some medical component added thus making the water reddish which may deter guests not accustomed to the color.
The Ryokan location is convenient for walking to a few attractions (for those who enjoy walking about 15-30mins to either attraction), which include Takachiho Kagura performance (pre-booking required), Takachiho Gorge, Takachiho Amaterasu Railway - scenic train ride.
Do note the train rides cannot be pre-booked, and end by 3PM in the afternoon.
And Takachiho Gorge Boat Rental should be pre-booked, with time slot bookings open 7 days before.

GGuest UserAmazing location with spectacular view of aoshima. 3 mins walk to the beach, 10 mins to aoshima shrine. Bus stop to sun messe and udo shrine is right outside of the hostel. Value for money. Very good customer service. Gave guest a room tour on arrival. Female dormitory available with a separate key to lock the door and guest can use their locker. Feel very safe and secure. All the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The hostel also comes with onsen at 700 yen per admission. This is not related to the hostel but a tips for travelling. Dinner is tricky at Aoshima because almost all restaurants would require reservation. Book early.

GGuest UserAmazing view and quiet. Super clean and well managed. Feels like camping with a real bed. Or a retreat.
Bathroom is shared but extremely clean.
I thought it would be more noisy on weekends but surprisingly it wasn't.
If you are walking it's an hour away from the JR station.
Food options are rare closeby, but you can use a fridge and microwave.
すすんたろThe old private house in the tree 々 and the wide garden is rich in nature and is very attractive, but it is a form of share house, and the administrator is almost absent, and only the guest is staying Because it is I felt that there were many anxiety materials 々 in the case of something.
Because on the day of the stay, everyone in the midnight was sleeping quietly around 3 a.m., and someone came in, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and it was noisy, and I couldn't sleep during this time.
If you have stayed at this inn once, you can come in with a face that doesn't eat even if you don't have a lodging procedure.
Given the possibility of this, I feel it is better to review the management method.
I think that the guest is not only a good person, and some people treat the room and facilities rough, so if you think so, the house is pathetic.
JJohnny Lye On SiongYunomoto Onsen has everything a Ryokan offered. The staff try their best to explain to us in English.
The Kaiseki Dinner and Breakfast was very good.
WwobblybobGreat stay at hotel areaone nobeoka. Washing machine is free and it cost 100 yen to dry for 30 minutes. Road around the area is well paved for pedestrians too.
The hotel is 15 minutes walk from city centre where Kai-Unagiya sells amazing Unagi!
GGuest UserA business hotel just a few minutes walk from JR Nobeoka Station The price is relatively cheap and the room is good Ask the staff about the information around Nobeoka, It was a good impression for customer service. Breakfast is limited in time It seems that you can eat local ingredients using 500 yen. I would like to stay here if I go to Miyazaki next time.
