The stay was great. The staff delivered a complimentary slice of cake as the check in date coincided with my hubby’s birthday. Very nice and sweet of the reception staff. All guests received warm chocolate cookies too. Just nice to have them for supper or snack😊 Facilities were good too though we didn’t use it. Buffet Breakfast was good but we didn’t try all the food as there were just too much food to try.. room amenities were basic and good and room was spacious. Overall stay was good. Will consider coming back due to their great service. Location is also quite near to JB Sentral about 10-15 minutes walk.

Our family had a really pleasant stay here! 🥰 The kids absolutely loved the apartment, especially the slide and play area. In fact, they enjoyed it so much that even the living room became their sleeping area for the night! 😂 The location is great if you’re planning a trip to Legoland, as it’s just a short drive away. The unit was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a washing machine, cooking pan, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups, making it very convenient for families with young children. One small point for parents to note: the slide corner has some sharp edges, so extra supervision may be needed for younger kids. As for the surroundings, there aren’t many attractions or eateries within walking distance, so you’ll likely need to drive to places like KSL City Mall or Paradigm Mall for shopping and dining options. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The cleanliness, family-friendly setup, and proximity to Legoland made it a wonderful choice for our family, and the kids are already asking when we can come back! ❤️

The outlook of the hotel looks great but the inside the room not so favorable. There was blood stain on bedsheet, and aircon one moment warm, one moment super cold … not sure what to think of it 🥲 The bed, not so comfortable to sleep on and very low level, for elderly not really good for them Room size is small and a little squeeze for 2 persons. The bathroom lights are too dim Breakfast wise, not so fantastic. Would recommend eat out since near by have many eatery options

Quick and seamless check in. The room is adequate in size, clean and comfortable. The window view was ok. There is easy access to the mall and the lift was fast. It is located in a good location and there are many restaurants to choose from.

The gym, though small, was well-equipped with towels and bottled water. The kids' play area clearly hadn't been tidied up after use, and no one seemed to be cleaning it. It was also incredibly hot in there, with no AC remote in sight. As for the breakfast buffet, it had everything you'd expect, but the only downside was the lack of staff to seat or guide guests. On our first morning, we had to stand next to other tables and wait for a spot to open up 😅. Our room had a QR code for requests, and when we used it, staff were very quick to help with any issues. The only minor flaw was some dust in the room; I actually felt a bit itchy the first night. We were in the East Wing, which honestly felt more like a serviced apartment than a hotel, yet they didn't even provide dish soap 😅😅.

We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The place is very comfortable, clean, and accessible to everything, which is why we chose it. The team was also very responsive whenever we had questions, even in the middle of the night. They were very accommodating and kind to their guests. All in all, it’s truly an excellent place to stay — not just for couples, but also for families with kids because they have lots of amenities that everyone can enjoy.

Parking space is near to hotel and hotel do provide EV charger with fees. Breakfast is delicious with variant food served. Only one thing is about the receptionist forgot to key our car plate number for us to get free parking. We almost want to pay rm98 for the overnight parking fees.

The unit was nice, clean, and spacious. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear, and the host responded promptly to all my queries, making the stay smooth and hassle-free. The only downside was the indoor slide, which was much steeper than expected. My child suffered fairly bad abrasions on the first attempt, so we decided not to let the children use it for the rest of our stay. Parents with young children may want to supervise closely or exercise caution. Overall, the room was comfortable, although the loft/top level felt a little cramped. Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay and appreciated the cleanliness and excellent communication from the host.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Opero Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru I stayed at Opero Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru from 24–25 June 2026 and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms that provided a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was equipped with everything needed for a short getaway. The location is excellent, especially for shopping and dining, with convenient access to Southkey and other nearby attractions. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient during both check-in and check-out, making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities and the overall welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. It offered great value for money and exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Johor Bahru and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Our recent stay at Space Residency was an absolutely wonderful experience, and one of the biggest reasons was the incredible convenience and cleanliness of the accommodation. As a family travelling with children, cleanliness is always one of our top priorities, and Space Residency exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was just a short drive away. Food options were plentiful and easily accessible, making every meal something to look forward to. We especially enjoyed visiting nearby dim sum restaurants, where we had delicious breakfasts to start our day. For Japanese food lovers like us, Warakuya quickly became one of our favourite dining spots. The food was consistently good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and it was so convenient to reach from Space Residency. Beyond food, there were also many lifestyle and wellness services nearby that added to the overall experience. One of our favourite discoveries was Ayu Borneo at Trove, where we enjoyed a relaxing massage session after a day of shopping and sightseeing. The soothing environment and professional service helped us recharge and made our holiday even more enjoyable. Another highlight was our visit to Kimino Beauty at Pelangi. What surprised us most was how much our children enjoyed the experience. The staff were warm, welcoming, and patient, making the visit comfortable and enjoyable for the whole family. It is not often that both adults and children leave a beauty and wellness establishment smiling, but Kimino Beauty managed to do exactly that. The combination of a clean and comfortable accommodation, excellent accessibility to food, and proximity to quality services made our stay truly memorable. We never had to spend excessive time travelling from place to place, which meant more quality family time and less stress. Whether it was heading out for dim sum in the morning, enjoying Japanese cuisine for dinner, relaxing with a massage, or visiting Kimino Beauty, everything was conveniently within reach. Overall, Space Residency offered the perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. It served as an ideal base for our family holiday, allowing us to enjoy the best of Johor Bahru with ease. We would gladly recommend it to families, couples, and anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent access to great food and services. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
