Facilities: This is a serious deduction. The sound of the air conditioner fan can be heard continuously in the room. For light sleepers, it is a bad review. But the good thing is that their shuttle bus runs frequently, a total of three, and basically no need to wait. Environment: The swimming pool downstairs is open until 9 o'clock. The children downstairs have a lot of fun, but for those who just want to have a good rest, they have to wait until after 9 o'clock. The corridor design of this hotel is very good, but if you encounter this situation, it will be very bad. Service: Breakfast is also average. There are not many varieties, and the bread is hard. This is the second time I stayed at this hotel during this business trip, because I had a direct flight from Detroit to Shanghai. The hotel environment is very good, the facilities are also good, the front desk is very nice, and they can provide free bottled water, but it is very expensive.

This hotel is very new, clean and tidy, with a good environment and a good restaurant! The location is in a relatively urban area. On the first day of arrival, I went to an Italian restaurant nearby and waited for 30 minutes for a seat. It felt quite fresh!

' The Athenium will delight and pamper you!

great location near all the gov offices. not much facilities, just the room. a bit dated but it was clean. would stay there again

I spent one night at the Hollywood Casino at Greektown. I did not visit the casino. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line. I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs. I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the casino, or go out.

The room is big enough. But the service is average. Even the hotel did not help you with your luggage.

The Aloft Detroit is a beautiful hotel! Everyone was so nice & very professional, so friendly and very helpful. They made you feel very special. It is in a great location, right across from Tiger Stadium & Ford Field, and only 1/2 mile from Little Caesars Arena. Lots of great restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms were very nice, exceptionally clean and the beds were so comfortable. Will absolutely be staying at the Aloft again!
