"We chose this hotel for its amazing view of the Taj Mahal. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The only downside was the large number of mosquitoes at dinner on the terrace. The hotel does provide mosquito spray, and I saw them treating the area during the day."

"The hotel itself is great. The room is clean and cozy. You can walk to the Taj Mahal. I was very disappointed with the attitude of the staff towards the guests: 1. The day before departure, we agreed with the receptionist about a late check-out, the cost was announced at 15,000 rupees. In the morning before breakfast, I went in again to warn her, the girl announced the cost at 3,000. A long dispute, we agreed on 1,500 with check-out at 15:00; 2. Starting from 12:00 to 15:00, they called 5 times and asked if we were going to vacate the room. At 14:59, they started knocking on the door and demanding eviction ...; 3. As soon as we handed over the cards, they turned off our Internet (blocked the login and password for wi-fi). LTE in the hotel works extremely poorly. I needed to take part in an important meeting, the staff reluctantly entered new access data into the phone ...; 4. My wife was feeling unwell and asked for boiling water to make her tea. We were invited to the dining room where breakfast was served in the morning. They poured tea from a bag. And asked us to pay 570 rupees!!! For tea from a bag (~750₽). Honestly, it's disgusting for a chain hotel"

"Untrustworthy Booking Practices – Avoid The Grand Imperial Agra I booked two rooms at The Grand Imperial Agra for 4th February 2026 through a external site Despite updating my valid credit card details three times at their request, the hotel cancelled my confirmed booking citing “invalid card.” Immediately after, the rooms were resold to other guests. Attempts to contact the hotel went unanswered. This experience shows a lack of professionalism and reliability. Guests should be aware that confirmed bookings may be cancelled without genuine cause. I strongly advise caution when considering this property."

"The location was very nice. Traditional site within easy walking distance to the East Gate of the Taj Mahal. Rooms were large, clean, with western toilets. Plenty of clean water supplied at no charge. Great family atmosphere. Room service was great with real home cooking. All of this for a very reasonable amount."

"The place is closed to Taj Mahal, I'd say walking distance. The staff is really nice, when there is some language barrier they just call the owner (Bobby) and he will find a solution. Bobby speak a perfect english, the wifi works perfectly, the AC also works well. The terrace is beautiful and it has two floors, the last one provides a beautiful view of Taj Mahal and the whole neighborhood where you can see monkey going up and down."

"The room had everything we needed and was neat and tidy. The AC was fantastic too. We had breakfast every morning on the rooftop which was good, and the hostel itself is in a fantastic location near the Taj Mahal. The staff were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel valued- Firoz drove us to lots of different places in his tuktuk for very reasonable prices and would often wait to pick us up as well. On our last day, one of the staff members also drove my partner on his moped to a cyber cafe just so we could print off our train tickets. Would absolutely stay here again!"
