We had extreme Problems sleeping in the Hotel due to mold on the Walls. After the First Night we trouble breathing. There also where Spiderwebs and stains on the bedsheets. So we Switcht Rooms and the day after we had to Switch Hotels. We wanted a refund because we wanted to Switch Hotels but that was not possible because we Booked over Trip we have been told. Overall this stay was not pleasant at all for that Amount of Money and we Are a Bit shocked about the State the Hotel is in after we saw the pictures and saw the Rating. We can not recoment this at all and we Hope Trip is gonna get in touch for a refund for this horrible stay!

Good stay with kind people, location is great, would stay again!

The bed is very comfortable. Mine was the top pest bed so it’s a bit inconvenient. One noteworthy thing is that the counter is not open 24 hrs so have to be careful when check in or check out.

Good for budget travel. Clean place with convenient location at the city centre

The service staff are very friendly and there are activities held several nights during the week. The location is very good, close to Albert Market, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. The indoor room will be darker and there will be plenty of hot water;)

I was NEVER given clean bedding, there was noise through out the night the room smelt. The toilet shower area had a smelly old towel on the floor. There was no management apparent in the morning. When I complained of this I was basically told it was my fault for not contacting someone after hours for clean linen. Passing responsibility on to a customer WITHOUT accepting responsibility for a dirty unclean room and bathroom is unacceptable customer service , in many years of hostels this is THE DIRTIEST AND WORST experience I have EVER HAD, I will forward this exact wording to the various pertinent sites that cover travel. NO ATTEMPT was made to address these issues no compensation was offered and all the complaints brought up were dismissed as not management’s responsibility. There is ZERO reason why I would recommend your company and the manager I spoke to was unhelpful refused to take responsibility and presented as disengaged and robotic. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The place is very clean and cute. Has a great garden. Good location close (15 min walk ish) to Van Gogh Museum area. The bed area only has 1 USB charger which is annoying (the room only had 2 normal plugs) Also they only sell locker locks, otherwise you leave your stuff outside. There is not really free breakfast per se but coffee, tee and apples free of charge. Staff are really nice.

Stayed in a private room, which was nice. The location is very convenient - almost opposite a tram stop, or 20 minute walk into the centre. You’re given a code for the front door and your room door, which is helpful not needing keys etc. It can get a bit noisy with people coming and going, but there are earplugs available if you’re a light sleeper. The stairs can be steep and small (like all of Amsterdam). For the location and price, I would recommend it.

Hassle free check in experience, great location - literally a min away from the tram stop (Line 4). Stayed in a 6xbed room with decent comfy beds. You are given a code upon check in which is the same code to get into through the main entrance and your room. There are coffee, tea facilities as well as a fridge in the communal kitchen. Overall a comfy experience for an overnight solo traveler stay.

We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was the Farm room - top floor (a lot of stairs and a good cardio workout! ;) ) it was nice and cosy with an en-suite. Nice and clean/comfy. Complimentary tea and coffee. Key code to get in and out. The hostel is well run and managed. Staff are polite and helpful. Check in and out smooth- just note, check out is 11am and check in after 4pm. (They offer free storage should you arrive early). They also have an outside, enclosed garden area, but a little neglected. Still, good to get air and smoke. Some small negatives: the noise! There are doing construction works across and below the apartment block. The site workers (I presume) starts at 7am… then you get woken with a high pitch noise that is continuous. (Even the ear plugs don’t drown the sound). Closing the windows reduce it somewhat, but with no other ventilation and no fan, it becomes unbearable. Some suggestions: mama, flip those mattresses! :) this keeps them lasting longer and ensure even wear/tear/comfort. I slept at the feet end as it was most comfy! It would be nice to have more coffee pods if staying longer than one day ). My husband did ask someone re more pods for the next day, but the lady didn’t comprehend what he was asking (and as it was already 10pm, we left it at that). Overall, good location and a pleasant stay!
