"Simple budget hotel hotel in great location to explore Angers! Staff on reception very helpful! Room clean but a little strange smell in room! Overall ok for one night! A little tip for a restaurant close to hotel! No more than 5 mins walk and not in town with all the others! Le Petit Brissac ! Great restaurant , great value , great food. Nd service"

Mercure Angers Centre de Congrès

"This hotel is in need of an update and doesn't compare favourably to other Mercure hotels we have stayed at in France. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and it was useful being able to leave the car in the underground car park all day. However the whole place is like stepping back into the 1980s with very dated furniture and decor throughout. The room was spacious and clean but the carpet was very stained, unacceptably so. The air conditioning had not been switched on in the hotel so with temperatures in the mid twenties we had the choice of sweltering in a stuffy room or opening the windows and having traffic noise all night."

"Good camping, the spaces for camping car are enormous and with water and electricity. The pool is good for kids but nothing special. The bar and pizzas could be much better, too expensive for the bellow average quality."

"Positive points of this hotel : - Near the station - Very comfortable and large bed - spacious and clean room - Qualitative breakfast - very nice staff Negative points: - No parking, You have to park in the street and all places are paying. - A little vested rooms by place (screening, window around which you feel the cold,...) - No specific equipment in the hotel, In general we are happy with our night, The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, but it is very good to stay in the hotel. :) This is still a very good hotel!"
