Hotel Parco Dei Principi

"Hotel in the middle of nowhere. No access to bars or restaurants. The nearby restaurant belonged to the hotel and the food was not good. We could not get a taxi from the station but for 10 euros the receptionist picked us up. Reception had 4 small dogs in it which belonged to the hotel and the carpet stank of dog urine. We thought we were going to find an Old Italian hotel. It was shabby and dirty. We were in the annexe in a superior double which was far from superior. Small and dingy with the hardest bed I have ever slept on. That was when I slept the air conditioning kept you awake. The toilet seat was broken and if you sat on it your knees bashed the shower which was mouldy. Breakfast was awful nasty ham and cheese. Toast and pastries. The pool was empty and the site has conflicting dates as to when it is open. In fact only open for 6 weeks a year. We booked for 4 nights and left after one and happy to pay for another hotel to get out of this one."

Parco Della Gallinara

"We stayed one night in the camper parking area, arriving at 9.30pm from the port of Anzio, my partner and I and a 9 year old girl at the reception told us that the restaurant is open until late, since we still had to arrange the camper and do the shower we ask for confirmation to eat obviously, we arrive at 10.20pm at the restaurant they let us sit and after a while they tell us that the chef had felt ill and therefore they could only make us pizza and fried foods, ok, after 5 minutes they tell us that the fryer it had already been detached. When we said that we had been told by the reception that the restaurant would be open until late, the waiter explained to us that they closed at 11pm. I think there are many communication problems, it was enough to be clearer and we would have organized ourselves differently. Very high swimming pool prices. The staff at the two bars were very nice and helpful!!!"

Hotel Lido Garda

"There's nothing to say about the hotel. But at the beach bar, one employee in particular had a shameful experience. I asked for a frothy coffee in a glass and was told, "I don't even know how the hell you make it." I very kindly told her that you can easily make it at home too. But she even worse said, "Make it at home." The worst possible thing. How the hell can you let someone like that work? And at a bar, too. It's a shame because you can have a good time both in the hotel and on the beach. But I'll definitely never get even a piece of candy at the beach bar again."
