"Stayed for 3 nights, had booked the Studio but Paul put us in the Loft. ( Not sure if he had double booked it but the Studio was free that 1st night we were there but Paul was not around) Didn't mind to much but the Studio has much more space. Location is close to town, very comfortable bed and warm room with a good shower. When someone is staying in the Studio below you it pays to close your bathroom door downstairs as we could hear most of the couples conversation through out the night. There was 1 glass and 1 coffee cup that was dirty and no coffee sachets or teaspoons. Also had the pleasure of a mouse running around in the ceiling."

Plus, it comes with a private courtyard. The free parking lot has plenty of spaces, and it's very quiet at night. From check-in to check-out, everything was convenient and comfortable. A truly pleasant stay, highly recommended."

"It's very good. The room is large and comfortable. The courtyard is beautiful with hydrangeas in full bloom. There are leisure chairs and tables, as well as a sincere welcome gift. There are wisteria and azaleas outside the breakfast room. I think it will be more beautiful in spring!"

"I initially thought the reviews would be great, and I was really looking forward to staying here. However, I was disappointed to find myself completely ignored. Later, when someone came and I tried to confirm, they were incredibly unfriendly. Be aware that there are many stairs here. Actually, these things wouldn't have affected my review. It was just that on a cold day, the heated mattress pad was misplaced. I had to redo the bed myself, and finally, it was warm again."

"Good stay! It’s ideal for families because it’s right in the center. The room is nice and has good attention to detail — they even prepared an iron and ironing board for us because I emailed ahead to ask about it. The location is perfect, right on Buckingham St. Don’t be surprised or feel lost when you walk in expecting a reception — the check‑in process is inside a busy restaurant, and they don’t open in the morning. They only open around 11 a.m., I think, because when we checked out before 10 a.m., all I saw were food and produce deliveries left at the front of the hotel and no one to receive it."

"A Very Good and clean motel that is an easy ten-minutes walk to Arrowtown. The room was clean and well presented with the heating on when I arrived.  The staff are friendly and helpful.  Overall a quiet location in the middle of a residential area.  My room had a small fridge and a kitchenette with a kettle, cook-top, toaster and microwave with sufficient items to cook and serve simple meals.  They also provide a small bottle of milk everyday.  The bed has an electric blanket that works well. There is also a good Airconditioning unit.  Wifi works ok in the reception area and outside the room, but sometimes weak in the room. They also provide a guest laundry on a payment basis.  I visited in the winter and it was a nice stay.  Overall a somewhat above average experience with above average staff."

"These apartments were an amazing find! The location is tranquil and set amongst the hills. Only about a 15 minute walk to Arrowtown. It is well equipped and you want for nothing. The beds are incredible! We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, and it had three toilets and two ensuites. Tastefully decorated, warm and so comfortable. Even has garage parking with internal access and off street parking for two other vehicles. We went down for our son’s wedding and on the morning of the wedding the water was cut off in the street. Scott the Manager was FANTASTIC, he went above and beyond to find us an alternative in another hotel for showering. Can’t rate highly enough. Will definitely be back."
