“Old, but clean bed & toilet, good location” The hotel is old. The carpets and wallpapers are old and stained. However, the bed and the toilet are clean and slippers were provided. The room size is not small, compared to most japanese city hotels. The amendities given are of normal Japanese hotel standards, ie. Toothbrush, comb, green tea, pajamas, hairdryer, kettle, room/clothes deodorant, nice soap and shampoo/conditioner, etc.  I only contacted the staff during check-in who was friendly and able to speak some English. There were signs in English in the lobby. The check in process was quick. For check out, we only need to drop the keys in a box. The room had faint cigarette scent, eventhough it was a non-smoking room. We opened the windows for a while and it was okay.  During the night, the hotel and the streets were quiet. The air-conditioning worked fine (we stayed in August). We had a good night’s sleep.  The location is very good. The hotel is close to the train station. There is a convenience store nearby. Overall, for me it is a good hotel for a quick night before travelling via train. But I would not spend multiple days in this hotel.

Overall reasonable for the price point. The walls are thin hence not very suitable for light sleepers. Bathtub was slightly tall to get into if you are 1.5m short.

The hotel is about 350m walking from Asahikawa Station. The hotel is old but clean. The room and the bathroom are very small. Overall it is recommended considered the cheaper price and the good location.

The hotel's location is excellent, just one block away from Asahikawa Station. Room size is decent, but the rooms are quite dated and have low ceilings. The single rooms on the 18th floor have outward-facing windows, offering good natural light and making the space feel bright. However, the double rooms on the 16th floor have inward-facing windows, which makes them quite dim. Moreover, there's a persistent rumbling noise at night, seemingly from some ventilation equipment or similar machinery nearby. If you're sensitive to noise, it's best to avoid rooms on the 16th floor.

Staff are helpful and friendly. The decor is old and my room needed refurbishment. Location is good and a reasonable price.

The room was ridiculously small. Facilities: The built-in air conditioning produced a deafening roar. The bed and walls vibrated, and the noise was so intense it literally made my heart pound. We switched rooms multiple times, but encountered the exact same problem. In some rooms, the AC was loud when on; in others, even with our AC off, the noise from neighboring rooms' AC units was still unbearable. Ultimately, we had no choice but to turn off the AC completely and borrow a fan to get through the night. Service: It's utterly unreasonable that we only discovered the true condition of these rooms after checking in, yet were denied a refund or the option to check out. How can they enforce such a draconian 'take it or leave it' policy for rooms that are clearly unfit for habitation? Even retail purchases often come with a 7-day no-questions-asked return policy. I had seen some reviews mentioning AC noise, but I never anticipated it would be this deafening. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place altogether! I'd give it zero stars if I could!

The place is old and carpet is very dirty. Second floor can smell other people smoking. The dryer is dusty and doesn’t work.

Perfect central location, rooms are very old and dated, carpets very stained , you have to pay 1100 yen parking per night. It’s a shower and a bed but there’s definitely better value options around.

Service is very good and the staff are super polite. No parking at hotel though, can only park nearby with a charge.

The room is big for 4 people.

Booked the hotel later finds out it was smoking room. Request none smoking room. Hotel requested up charge I approved. Went ahead room is smoking smell we both don’t smoke. It was very unpleasant.
