"The hotel is located in the Carcassonne Castle, next to the church, with a beautiful environment. It is a historic castle hotel. The navigation position of our Mercedes-Benz business car was a little off, so we parked in the riverside parking lot and walked to the hotel. The hotel then used a small car to pull the luggage to the hotel. The swimming pool is not open in winter, and you can hike in the castle in the morning. The hotel garden is very exquisite. Breakfast ends at 10:15, which is a bit too early for a resort hotel. Dinner requires reservations. We didn't make reservations in advance and had to eat outside. The hotel recommended a restaurant next door, a 5-minute walk away. The dishes were amazing and we had two meals in a row. We stayed in a family suite with a large bed and an 80 cm single bed. We stayed in 4 people, and the hotel added a single bed for us free of charge. The toiletries are all Clarins, the shower water is very large, the room is well heated, and the stay is very comfortable, which is very suitable for family vacations. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic, and the castle black chocolate presented is also delicious."

"We agree with a previous review that this hotel is a little gem by the sea. The view from our room was wonderful and the tapas on the beach perfect. Above all, the staff is welcoming and very kind. We struggled with a ride to the train station on a Saturday morning and one of the servers was kind enough to deliver us in her car to the station. We will be back !"

"A magnificent property (castle), with a great pool where you can relax. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bed is comfortable. The bathroom, toilet (smell!), and shower are great; the service/reception could be friendlier. Parking costs €15.00, and there's nothing going on in the village."

"It's a hotel for an overnight stay. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you; it's a hotel for short stays. But if you just need to rest for one night, it's not bad. The buffet is small, but you can manage."

"Sadly a rather poor show this evening. Slow service, actually very slow, but due not to the young lady serving, but due to her being left alone to serve about 30 covers, food and drinks 😡. The mains were quite nice, but the cheese platter? Two microscopic pieces of cheese, one of which had certainly seen better days, and no bread until requested, twice! Shall we return, I think not 🤣"
