Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The only setback is the nearby renovations, which make driving in and out of the hotel a bit inconvenient due to the narrow lane. It’s easier to walk out and meet your Grab driver outside. The nearby spa is reasonably priced, and I really enjoyed their massage!

Bali Seminyak Beach Hotel Indigo: A Designer's Review As a designer, I appreciate how this hotel masterfully blends Balinese craft with contemporary aesthetics. The lobby's wooden screens reinterpret traditional Songket fabric patterns - a subtle nod to local culture through a modern lens. Rooms are thoughtfully designed. The 50 sqm Partial Ocean View room cleverly balances function and beauty with its spa-style bathroom and private balcony featuring a daybed. Local materials and vibrant colors create warmth without sacrificing modern comforts. The property's five pools are highlights. The ”Secret Garden” adult pool and beachfront waterfall pool seamlessly merge with the landscape, creating that perfect indoor-outdoor flow Bali is known for. At sunset, the infinity pool's visual connection to the ocean is pure magic. What sets this hotel apart is how it integrates community culture. The pottery-themed café and SugarSand Beach Club with bamboo structures don't feel like hotel facilities - they're living spaces connected to Seminyak's creative energy. Minor notes: some rooms show humidity traces (expected in tropical climate), and pools get crowded at peak hours. But overall, Hotel Indigo succeeds where many fail - it doesn't just use local elements as decoration, but reinterprets Balinese spirit for modern travelers. For designers seeking inspiration, this hotel offers a masterclass in cultural translation through design.

Booked a Superior room which is the cheapest type. The hotel lobby was nice and service is friendly. Room was quite basic for the price range but clean. It didn't have nice view and the aircon system was noisy. Location wise, not much around but the Seminyak area is close by car. Lovely pool and resto area for this price range. There are other nicer room types which have a pool view and even direct access. I recommend booking room categories other than the cheapest type. I didn't try the breakfast so can't comment.

this hotel is very budget and better than some five-star hotels, very clean room, super view from the window, friendly staff, nice pool. There are many cafes and shops nearby. I really liked the location of the air conditioner, it does not blow on your head and there is no dampness in the room, this is a real salvation in Bali! Breakfasts are normal, for such a price I would even say excellent!

I had a great experience staying at The Alea Hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. The place is clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming vibe. I also loved that it was budget-friendly without compromising on quality. Having pool access was a big plus—it was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and affordable stay in Bali!

We have a wonderful and memorable stay at Kanvas Village hotel, the hotel not only live up to their wonderful reputation from many previous reviews, it is in fact beyond our expectations. The staff from reception, F&B, house keeping were all very professional, kind, in fact one of the nicest team I have ever met, their standard tops over many 5 star plus hotels we stay for both our business and leisure travel. My husband was sick during our stay and all the staff were genuinely caring, kind and helpful . I would specifically complement and show our sincere appreciation to Miss Eka , Miss Ayu , Mr. Santhi, Mr. Mertha and some other members whom I have their face in my head but didn’t catch their name of the hotel, especially the young man that clean our room. As mentioned even to the hotel, the suite room is really a bit far for our likings but it’s good exercise as they all situated at the far end of the building. I shall definitely recommend this hotel😊r

Loved my stay at potato head as a solo traveler. The security and location of the hotel made me feel very safe, with shuttle service from hotel lobby to Main Street seminyak. One small thing I’ll fault on is the lack of ventilation in the toilet/bathroom area of the studio rooms. Otherwise everything else was wonderful. Amazing staff, fantastic sunset views, plenty of activities available for hotel guests and thought provoking hotel mantra - good times do good.

Great place for a solo traveler. I was a little concerned About the reviews complaining it was loud, but I found from my room (did not face the street), it was nice and quiet all night. Walls were thin and I could hear people walking around above me, but it was nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. There was wall mounted all-in-one body wash in the bathroom but not much else in the way of amenities - but across the street was a little convienence store where I was able to get shampoo, conditioner, etc. Easy walking distance to the beach and everywhere I wanted to go this trip. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and had a simple process when I asked for late checkout. I felt safe and appreciated the daily room cleaning. It's not a fancy vibe or spotless clean, but it's comfortable and clean enough. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

We booked the room without a window since it was the cheapest, but honestly, we weren’t disappointed at all. The room was still clean and comfy, and the service was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, and on days we had early tours, they packed meals for us to take—though the packed breakfast was just okay, it was still a nice gesture. The location worked really well for us too—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Bali Seminyak Hotel Guide

Bali is a traditional Australian vacation destination, and with good reason. Imagine pleasant beaches, picturesque rice terraces, and an unbeatable laid-back atmosphere. Explore the Sacred Monkey Forest, relax at a yoga retreat, or stroll through art markets in Ubud. Along the coast, locations like Seminyak and Kuta have delicious food, waves that are suitable for surfing, and breathtaking sunsets. Not to be overlooked are temples such as Uluwatu and Tanah Lot, which are ideal for an evening vista. You can enter the country from Australia and remain there for up to 30 days without a visa. Just make sure you have one blank page for the entrance stamp and that your passport is valid for at least six months. It's too simple.

Bali Hotel Guide:Nusa Lembongan

Bali's primary international gateway, Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), commonly called Denpasar Airport, is situated immediately south of the well-known beach towns of Kuta and Seminyak. It's easy to schedule a private transfer or hail a cab when you arrive at the contemporary, compact airport. Although they might be blocked in specific tourist areas, ride-hailing applications like Grab and Gojek are popular.

The majority of tourists use private drivers for day trips since they are flexible and reasonably priced. Only those with experience should ride scooters, which are popular for shorter distances, particularly in places like Canggu or Ubud. While walking is not the best option on major routes, it is an alternative in smaller communities.

Best Areas to Stay in Bali

Bali Hotel Guide:Hotels Near Ubud in Bali
  • Seminyak: Seminyak is a clear favorite if this is your first visit to Bali. This seaside region combines chic beach resorts, boutique stores, delicious dining, and exciting beach clubs—all conveniently located. Although it's not entirely walkable, it's simpler to navigate than many other areas of the island, and the atmosphere is laid-back yet elegant. Popular locations like Potato Head and Ku De Ta keep the action going day and night, while The Legian and W Bali – Seminyak offer beachfront luxury.
  • Ubud: Nestled among verdant rice terraces and nestled in the jungle, Ubud is the cultural center of Bali. You can get a smoothie at a peaceful café, take a yoga class, peruse local art markets, or simply unwind in a villa with a view of the valley. Ubud is ideal if you're interested in wellness or want to learn more about Balinese customs because it's calmer and cooler than the coast. Visit locations like the famous Hanging Gardens or Alila Ubud for a calm, picturesque stay.
  • Canggu: Surfers and digital nomads have come to love Canggu, a relaxed beach location. There will be plenty of waves, views of rice fields, relaxed cafés with strong coffee and quick Wi-Fi, and more smoothie bowls than you can count. Despite becoming busier every year, it has a younger, more laid-back attitude than Seminyak. Even though it's not a highly walkable location, getting around is made simple by scooters and ride-hailing applications. There are plenty of options for private villas and boutique hotels.
  • Nusa Dua: Bali's more refined and tranquil side can be seen in Nusa Dua. Some of the most opulent resorts on the island may be found there, situated alongside serene beaches with gated communities and well-kept gardens. For families or honeymooners who want to unwind and take in everything in one location, it's a fantastic option. Places like The St. Regis Bali Resort and Grand Hyatt Bali offer excellent service; imagine spa services, beachside relaxation, and all-day dining without the throngs of Kuta.

Bali's Top Activities

Bali Hotel Guide:Photos of TANAH LOT TEMPLE

  • Tegallalang Rice Terraces: These famous tiered rice fields, located just north of Ubud, are ideal for strolls, taking pictures of the sunrise, or enjoying a fresh coconut while taking in the scenery. It's colder and quieter in the early morning.
  • Uluwatu Temple: This sea temple, which is perched on a cliff above the Indian Ocean, provides breathtaking views of the sunset and a spectacular Kecak fire dance at twilight. Beware of cunning monkeys!
  • Seminyak Beas: Visit places like Potato Head or Ku De Ta to spend the day relaxing, surfing, or enjoying cocktails. Excellent for relaxed comfort and sunset views.

ЕЕвгений17Comfortable, quiet, and calm area, clean, quite spacious, the bathroom is very spacious, comfortable subdued lighting, responsive staff, reception is always in touch. On the territory there is a sunbathing area with a swimming pool and sun loungers. The houses have a great terrace for chilling.

GGuest UserThe villa was situated within 5-10 mins walk near the shopping entertainment belts. It was clean, well maintained. However, even though most of the time we did not have hot water, it was not much of an issue due to the warm and humid climate. The villa was tranquil and did not bear any noise coming from the nearby roads. It was spacious and the pool was kept clean almost daily. A good experience to sum it up.
