A Wonderful Experience at Rimba Hotel
As a returning guest for the third time, I cannot thank the manager, Anom Kardiana enough for the wonderful arrangements he made, especially securing a room with the best view of the hotel. Each visit feels like a homecoming.
The housekeeping service is truly exceptional; I was delighted to find surprise toys waiting for me upon my return to my room, and the staff consistently kept everything tidy and clean. The beautiful swimming pools are well-maintained, and I appreciate the absence of mosquitoes in the surrounding forest—it's truly an extraordinary experience.
The quality of the dining options is outstanding, particularly at DAVA Steakhouse and Scusa Restaurant, where the live music and talented singers added to the ambiance. I also enjoyed the new After Rock Bar, which features fantastic DJ music.

I took my child and their friend to Bali and we booked the Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort and Spa based on three key things: 1. The room type 2. The location 3. The price.
1. Room type
I had been looking around for a room type that allowed us to all be in the same room but separated to a degree, for a bit of privacy for the two thirteen year olds away from the adult, without having to resort to the usual bunk bed options that are presemted in Bali. The Condong suite meets these needs, the two bed areas a good distance apart, and there are also two separate bathrooms and showers. The room itself is a bit dated and could do with USB charging points as an example, but it is clean and spacious and if you want a 5 star, go and pay for one. This met our needs. There are two tv's with a host of channels and smart capabilities allowing you to login to Youtube, Netflix etc. Just remember to log out of the apps when you leave!
2. The Location
It is in Jimbaran and literally across a small road on the beach. You have plenty of options for eating in the area and it is small walk to the main Jimbaran markets and eateries, or a nice 20 min walk on the beach down to the Le Meridien / Movenpick beach side, where there are more restaurants and activity. There is a small mini mart just acround the corner, about a 4 min walk, and it is a safe walk with enough pedestrian access most of the way except for the ditch on the left around the corner. Be careful if you are walking there at night, use a torch if needed. The area is safe and has a mix of tourists and local families down on the beach which makes for a pleasant afternoon, sunset or evening down at any of the beach clubs or restaurants. Download the 'MyBluebird' app for cheaper and gps driven taxis, don't try hail any. You can opt for fixed price knowing exactly how much it is to get from A to B. As an example it cost us IDR86,000 one day to get from the hotel to Ulawatu temple, but IDR126,000 on the way back. Traffic can be bad around the area but you get there. Worth looking at the hotel's transport as well. A bit more pricier but you get more decent cars than the Bluebirds, which are usually older sedans or hatchbacks.
3. The price
Always keep an eye out for deals. Trip.com was the cheapest by far for the same dates, same rates, same inclusions. The price was competitive compared to other hotels in the area and was fair for the amenities, location of the hotel.
All in all, a great hotel for us, with impeccable service at all times, from room service to laundry to transport. The facilities are good, it is clean and the food options are good. With a small investment in room charging like USB's, this would be helpful for families instead of having to lug chargers and adapters everywhere.

The hotel is generally nice. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is very successful. The atmosphere in the restaurants is pleasant, although the venues are a bit expensive. Other than that, it’s impossible to use a stroller within the facility — there are no ramps and mostly stairs, so you don’t really have the option to use a stroller. Overall, we liked it.

All hotel staff were tripping themselves to provide good service. From the doorman to reception to room attendant to waiters/ waitresses everyone went out of their way to provide the best stay possible. Never had any staff stopped tp greet or say hello whenever we passed by. The location of the resort also played a part in our choice. Close to seafood restaurants and essential amenities. The grounds were immaculate and was constantly attended to by an army of gardeners. We had nothing bad to say about our stay in the Intercon.There were a few hiccups like the light switches not working well and the air-conditioning not particularly cold. But this was to be expected considering the age of the resort. All in all the best value for money. Highly recommended and we will stay again.

We stayed for 7 days. The location is ideal, as it is near both the beach and the airport. The room looks amazing and is cleaned properly. However, the service could be improved; housekeeping and room service often do not answer calls, so we had to always call reception instead. Additionally, requested items or services often arrive hours later. The breakfast is buffet-style, but the options are quite limited. The hotel has a small gym, and the pool is not deep, but the view is stunning. Lastly, please check your pillows. We had to ask the hotel to change them twice (the uploaded photo is the second set they sent), and we had to go to the reception to show photos of the state of the pillows.

I booked 3 rooms and had a great stay in Watermark. The room is clean and the size is good, spacious enough for 3 persons. The hotel is well maintained.
Bathroom water flow is good. Amenities are good.
Location is good to explore jimbaran area, no traffic to and from I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport. Near one of the famous pork restaurants in Bali.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The location is unbeatable—right in front of the beach, with a vibrant stretch of restaurants just steps away. The hotel was still under renovation when we checked in.
The staff were friendly and accommodated our request for a room closer to the main door due to our early flight.
The room was spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, but the cleanliness could be improved.
The hotel's location is convenient, with a short walk to the main road where there are food and grocery options, and it's approximately 4.5km from the airport.

The resort is beautiful and very well-kept. The food is great. However, breakfast could be better. We got breakfast in our room and the eggs and Mie Goreng was cold. We stayed at the resort for just one night which was the last leg of our journey in Bali. We wrote to the hotel two days in advance if we could check-in early as we were checking out early the next day. They said it will depend on the day and they can only confirm the same only on the same day.
I was hoping they will write to me in the morning with the status of the room. However, we did not receive any email. When we reached the resort at 10.45 am they said that the room is not ready and it will take a while for the room to be ready. He did not say when it will be ready and he just walked away. As we were waiting and the place was so hot, they did not offer any drinks or water, whatsoever. I believe, these minute details make a huge difference in your experience. He said we can use the facilities in the resort in the meanwhile and just walked away. He could have shown us around as its a fairly good size resort. That experience would have been different, We had to walk around and explore the places ourselves .
The resort, pool, restaurant, and villas are excellent. Very beautiful! However, there were just too many mosquitoes everywhere. It was very difficult to sit anywhere during sunset and sunrise.

My first pleasant stay at this hotel booked only for relax and enjoy with the hotel facilities, everything is perfect except the bbq smell in the evening from bbq seafood restaurant nearby. Room is very big and the bed is king (is actually super single bed join together the left side bed was not sturdy but is fine) other than that everything was good especially the service they will always check on me every morning during my breakfast if everything alright during my stay, special thanks for Keisha, Kresni for always guide me whenever I asked regards Bali. The young girl Keisha give me a little sweet treat on my last day breakfast in the hotel thank you guys for your excellent service 👍

SSumaya1.It’s good and nice hotel but you have to walk 8 min to reach to the beach and was not nice beach and not prepared by hotel for any chairs.
2.The toilet doesn’t not have long water hose only the eco clean one which was terrible.
3.The breakfast variety not good almost for Asian people .
4. They offered from 4-5pm in katha lounge some chocolate and snakes not nice at all they don’t have something imported all are local and not nice.

The kids club they have open late 9:00 imagine if you want to go trip early you can’t until they open and also they close early 6:00 pm which the kids can’t play after they finish swimming and also only 4hrs free after that you have to pay 65000 per hour which is not that kind of kids friendly resorts.

I arrived too late and didn't live in the cover room type, but I think it's still very beautiful. The toilet surprised me. Both defecation and shower are open-air, and there is a fragrance of frangipani. It ensures privacy while being close to nature. It's very good. There are not many insects. I was bitten by two mosquitoes without any protection. Moreover, when I was in the public area, there were caterpillars in the bed curtain. If you are particularly afraid of insects, you should be cautious. I recommend it to those who are not afraid. I can catch spiders with my bare hands and release them. It's very interesting to me. The insect repellent in the room is actually very good. A bee flew in and found that the mouse had fallen after a while...

The hotel itself is relatively new. Acceptably clean.
Bed linen and towels are in normal condition.
The shower has good water pressure and the temperature is well regulated.
Large comfortable room.
Nearby is a shopping center with restaurants. And in general, there is a lot of everything nearby (a pharmacy, a store where you can buy a SIM card, an exchange office, etc.).
The downside is the lack of normal TV channels, the TV is useless.

GGonegaggaThe Villa itself is gorgeous, I'd recommend a stay here if you wanted to rest and relax IN the villa. The Pin on the map however is misleading, as the villa is actually further north up the beach and much farther away from anything. The beach nearby is full of fishermen, is quite dirty and also has pretty bad seafood restaurants.
As I said, the villa itself is wonderful and the staff and excellent, just be sure to take a taxi to other beaches if you want to go out and enjoy yourself by the water.

Location in the center, closed to the airport and to the beach. Staff are very nice with warm welcome and pay attention to the details.
For honeymooner, one bedroom villa is the best choice.

The environment is quiet, the Chinese boss and daughter service is very good, take the initiative to ask the needs of the guests, we went to the seafood market to buy a lot of fresh seafood and vegetables, borrowed their kitchen and condiments, the boss still refused to charge.
