GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'...
The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter.
The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance.
Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP.
The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

GGuest UserChoosing this B&B in Moganshan was a unique experience. Staying in an old Republican-era house and getting to know the charming mother and daughter owners was a rare experience. Although Huang Fu's former residence is located in a bustling city, the moment you enter the courtyard, you're instantly struck by tranquility. The ambiance and furnishings of this large courtyard are truly worth savoring, reflecting the B&B owner's artistic taste and meticulous attention to detail. You can fill your time here with so many interesting things, but life is so short. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and bring them back for a quick chat.

LLeijianaIt was my first time staying in a B&B. It was a very good experience and choice. I am willing to share my user experience.
The room is an attic room. Three people can stay in it. A door divides it into two spaces. There is no disturbance when sleeping. Because it is on the roof, there is a large public balcony with a ladder, which is convenient for washing, drying and taking pictures.
Facilities & hygiene:
The facilities and hygiene of the room are good, which exceeds my expectations for B&Bs. Their mattresses are very comfortable and have received unanimous praise from the whole family;
Environment:
The outdoor space of the B&B is divided into the front yard and the back yard. Although I have seen many beautiful photos of the backyard suitable for taking pictures, I personally prefer the front yard (garden with a swimming pool) more. After all, from the distribution of functions and living time, the front yard is more suitable for me.
Their surrounding environment is also relatively good. There is a Yuexian private kitchen nearby. It is very convenient to eat and the taste is not bad. You can also eat in the B&B. Except for the confirmed breakfast, other things need to be booked in advance.
The proprietress is hospitable and talkative, just like what I have seen in other reviews. It is also quite interesting to chat with the proprietress when you have time.
A store that can be checked in more often. I wish the store will get better and better.

__CFT010000001002****Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

CChendadamumuOur trip to Naked Stables in Moganshan was absolutely incredible! On the first day, we stayed in a castle room, which had an amazing atmosphere. On the second day, our butler Sookie helpfully arranged for us to move to a charming Tea Garden courtyard. The communication was smooth, and everything was perfectly arranged. Her service throughout our stay was attentive and thoughtful; she was always quick to respond to any request. Sookie truly deserves high praise!
The hotel's dining was excellent, with outstanding dishes and a wonderful overall dining experience. The biggest surprise was how incredibly pet-friendly the hotel is. They even thoughtfully provided a full set of pet supplies, making it completely worry-free to travel with our furry friend.
The mountain air was fresh and invigorating, and the surroundings were quiet and relaxing. Both the castle and the courtyard had their own unique charm. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable. It was such a relaxing mountain getaway, and we'll definitely be back!

AAlyssa-WOur three-day, two-night stay in Moganshan was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is located on the western side of the mountainside, offering a superb location with unbeatable views and a tranquil environment. The balcony views directly face the hundred-year-old Naked Castle. The hotel's back entrance is just a 100-meter walk up some steps to Chairman Mao's former residence, and many other attractions are very close by. The restaurant service was excellent – friendly and welcoming. We received complimentary fruit and bottled water. Both the breakfast and our à la carte dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Five stars, highly recommend!

__CFT010000001607****My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep.
However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.

Llihai588During the May Day holiday, Moganshan Scenic Area was crowded with people, and the price of homestays was also shockingly expensive, easily one or two thousand. Later, a friend recommended Zhuyanxiyu, which was really affordable and had a large room. It felt great value for money. The yard was paved with stones, and there was a row of stone-built pools full of foxtail algae, which was also very stylish. The roses taken care of by the owner of the homestay were in full bloom, which was very beautiful. The homestay has its own back mountain, which is full of bamboos and full of green. The owner is very enthusiastic, and the owner's wife cooks delicious dishes. The bamboo forest chicken soup is the first choice. The two children drank up the soup without a drop, haha.

GGuest UserI spent the weekend at this hotel and had a really pleasant stay. The property is excellent — beautifully maintained, with a great location and stunning views. The pool area is lovely, and my room was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
We also had a butler who was always ready to answer all our questions and assist us with anything we needed — truly attentive and helpful service.
The service overall was very good, but I would suggest that the staff clean the pool with a net early in the morning before guests wake up. It’s a bit unpleasant to find insects that have fallen into the water overnight, and there wasn’t a net available for guests to use themselves.
Apart from that small detail, everything was perfect, and I would definitely come back!
