"Facilities: 1. The showerhead only had one nozzle, and there was no secondary running water on the shower floor. The shower water even ended up soaking my feet! 2. The TV has a screen mirroring function, but it didn't work and kept displaying errors. The front desk said that this was the only time the screen wouldn't work. Cleanliness: Very poor. The toilet hadn't been cleaned or disinfected. There were traces of the previous guest's use. I'm not sure if Jinjiang has proper cleaning and room inspection standards. The front desk said it wasn't cleaned and I had to move to another room."

"This truly lives up to its reputation as the best hotel in Moganshan. The environment and scenery are absolutely top-notch. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa, and the hotel proactively communicated with us about children's amenities and supplies. The courtyard had a massage bathtub, which both the kids and my parents loved. The bedding was also quite comfortable. The only minor drawback was that for a room rate of over 7k, there wasn't a dedicated butler service, just a customer service WeChat contact. The older staff members provided excellent service, but the newer employees were noticeably unfamiliar with their duties; perhaps more training could be implemented in the future."

"For a room costing 1500 a night, everything from the environment to the service was a complete letdown. To reach the hotel room, I had to walk through the basement parking lot – I've never seen such a bizarre layout before. The staff looked utterly miserable, as if "don't bother me" was written all over their face. I'm a paying guest, yet I felt like I was walking on eggshells! Upon entering the room, there was a strong musty smell. The sheets and duvet felt damp, clearly indicating a lack of ventilation. The toilet and bathroom had transparent glass walls – what's the logic behind that design choice? The curtains weren't blackout, so the room was flooded with light as soon as dawn broke, making it impossible to sleep in the morning. And the small sofa in the room had visible stains; it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages! When a staff member opened the door for us, the magnetic catch was broken, so they skillfully (and shockingly) tied the door handle down with a bathrobe sleeve! Unbelievable! Is this what I paid 1500 a night for???"

"Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped and well-maintained, looking relatively new! Cleanliness: The room was very clean, and I felt every area of the hotel was spotless. Environment: Surrounded by mountains, the air is fresh and clean. Service: A dedicated butler is always available, providing attentive service with a smile! One-hour private bath in the Bamboo Forest Hot Springs: Highly recommended. Not only is it photogenic, but it's also very clean. It was prepared an hour in advance, disinfected before soaking, and served with hot tea and snacks. A box of free-range eggs was also provided upon check-out! Their yellow tea is also delicious! Summary: Traveling in the off-season with fewer crowds is truly wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. I compared many options and chose this one, and I wasn't disappointed!"

Its biggest advantage is its location right next to the Xiazhu Lake Wetland Park, with many rooms and public areas offering expansive lake views. Waking up to the lake view is truly refreshing, especially the incredibly healing scenery at dawn and dusk. The outdoor pool is a favorite among the kids! 😍"

"This time I stayed at the hotel on the edge of the ancient town. The place to eat was very convenient. There were not many people in the ancient town. The night view was beautiful and exceeded expectations. The community entertainment activities were also very civilian and distinctive. It was worth recommending and staying in niche attractions."

"The relatively (to other places in china) high prices of nearby restaurants was the only detractor from my experience with my two other friends at this hotel. We stayed in a 2-bed room (queen and single) and had plenty of space for us to open all our luggages. There was a pool too, but we didn't use it. Perhaps the best part of the stay was how friendly and helpful the host was: she recommended food, helped us to our rooms, quickly gave us another towel when we needed one, literally ordered a taxi to the Moganshan entrance for us because we were having difficulties, and even gave us a bag with 10 water bottles for free!! Also the included breakfast was yummy too! Stay here and support her small family B&B!"

"I couldn't travel for three years due to the pandemic, so I started to have fun as soon as I had time this year. I took a short trip to Mogan Mountain as soon as I got off. After comparing several homestays, I finally chose Fern Homestay, which has convenient parking, beautiful and quiet environment, clean restaurant, and complete entertainment facilities. The owner was very enthusiastic, greeted us early, helped with the luggage, and introduced the surrounding scenic spots. Since I didn't have lunch and forgot to order food the day before, the owner recommended several restaurants to us. There are also many restaurants and farmhouses nearby. I strongly recommend everyone to choose Fern Homestay, whose enthusiasm makes everyone feel as comfortable as living in a relative's house."

"As a hotel for the whole family to travel on May Day, I am generally satisfied with this hotel. Let me talk about the advantages first. The tiles and floors in the room are very clean and tidy. The hotel has a strong sense of technology, touch mirrors, electric curtains, and robots can call to deliver goods to the room, which the children like very much. The staff has good service quality, WeChat contact is convenient and fast, and gave our children a cute snack box. The breakfast variety is relatively rich. During the May Day period, there was a large flow of people, and the food was consumed quickly, but it was replenished in time and well prepared. The bed in the room is easy to move. The 1.8 and 1.35 beds are more than enough for our two adults and two children. The hotel can easily reach Moganshan Scenic Area, Kaiyuan Senbo, Shangzhushan Fantasy Valley, Shangzhu National Wetland Park, and Tianji Sen Valley by car around the hotel. Next, let's talk about the shortcomings. The hotel should be positioned as a business hotel and does not provide dinner, but it is surrounded by e-commerce and technology parks, and there are many restaurants for easy solution. It is also possible that the hotel decoration is business-oriented as mentioned above, so the sound insulation effect is very poor, and the crying of children in the opposite room can be clearly heard. Overall, the flaws do not cover the merits. This hotel is good."

"Come here to catch up with the typhoon, the wind and rain outside are very noisy, the house is actually quiet, the sound insulation is really not to say! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable to sleep, and hot water was always available. The front desk attitude is very good, check-in and check-out are fast, and it is convenient to go out to eat. Recommend the nearby local restaurant hahaha. The hair dryer is still Suifen, the details are in place, the health is very good, and the cleanliness people are ecstatic. Stayed very comfortable, I will book this next time."
