The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity. The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort. ”Butler-style intimate” service, will wait in advance to help carry luggage when you check in. Dining is the core highlight. Afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite and ceremonial. The villa owner, Mr. Wang, is very talkative and caring. Dinner is a private dish with Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai tastes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is authentic. Would recommend family and friends to stay again!

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'... The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter. The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance. Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP. The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

Service: The owners were really chatty and made our two-day stay very comfortable. They even lent us fishing rods, haha (though we didn't catch anything!). Environment: Excellent! Superb. I'd love to come back for another vacation. The surrounding area is also great, very close to the creek. Cleanliness: Very clean and refreshing. Facilities: The design of both the room and the lobby is fantastic. The sofa is incredibly comfortable; it was super relaxing to curl up on it and play games. Also, a shout-out to the hot pot! Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

The whole family had a wonderful weekend. The beautiful boss was sincere and considerate. She started to communicate details before the trip and was trustworthy. When we met, we were moved by her warm and bright smile, which won the hearts of the children! The entire B&B room is beautifully designed, and the slide room is the favorite of the children. The pillows and mattresses are moderately soft and comfortable. There are many types of breakfast, and the boss cooks it himself, enjoying the creative and delicious food! He taught the recipe of Lixia rice, and the parent-child activities were very interesting. He also tasted great coffee and yellow tea! Experience picking in the own bamboo forest. Convenient transportation, close to the Republic of China Style Street and Yu Village Square, just a walk away. In short, this is a B&B that the boss and his family run seriously and carefully. It is worth experiencing.

I'm incredibly lazy and rarely write positive reviews, but the hotel was the biggest surprise of this trip. Each room has a unique design and nickname, which is really cool. Just looking out the window from the hotel was enough to pass half the day. It's a great place for a short trip. The housekeeper even packed breakfast and sent it to my room a little after breakfast hours, which was very thoughtful. The souvenir is adorable and I'm already using it.

I brought my family here for a relaxing and therapeutic four-day, three-night getaway in the mountains. The customer service representative added me on WeChat, and communication was prompt and friendly. Our accommodation was upgraded to a villa room with a terrace. Waking up to the lush green mountains outside the window, listening to the birds and cicadas, was incredibly soothing for both mind and body. The hotel is located within the scenic area, so we could drive directly up the mountain without needing to transfer to a park shuttle bus, which was much more convenient for traveling with elderly family members. There was absolutely no need to leave the hotel during our stay. Every morning, we'd take a walk along the pedestrian paths in the scenic area, then come back to read, scroll on our phones, or nap on the terrace – it was a truly immersive and healing experience. We had all three meals at the hotel restaurant. One day, we ventured out to try a nearby restaurant for a change, but the noisy environment, disposable plastic cutlery, and high prices made us realize the hotel restaurant offered much better ambiance and service. After that, we decided to stick to dining at the hotel. The hotel's decor has a Republic of China 'old money' style, perfectly blending Chinese and Western characteristics, with quality evident in every detail. Overall, my family and I were very satisfied with our stay, and we look forward to returning in spring and autumn to enjoy the different scenery.

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep. However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
