"The entire hotel smelled musty and stale. Our room had no hot water and was told by the desk clerk that no one else had complained so just let it run until it gets hot. It didn’t. The hvac sounded like a diesel truck. We got no sleep. I do not recommend this hotel!"

"I travel to Cotter usually once a year to get in some fly fishing with my brother in law. We usually rent a VRBO house and it has worked out well for several years. This year we decided to stay at the Commercial Hotel and we should have done that sooner. The hotel is in a Historic old Hotel that has been completely remodeled. It is extremely clean and comfortable. Everyone staying there seemed to enjoy it and was very friendly. The hotel is only a couple of minute walk to a great little cafe with excellent breakfasts. You are also just a couple of blocks from the boat launch and Fly Shop. We will definitely stay at The Commercial Hotel next year!"
