Opting for the New Otani Chang Fu Gong for my Beijing trip was a great choice; the overall stay was consistently excellent and thoughtful, truly reflecting the quality of a seasoned high-end hotel. The service was warm and meticulous. Every day, they'd leave Beijing specialty snacks in the room – classic local pastries and treats. Coming back after a day of sightseeing to these delightful surprises was incredibly heartwarming. The breakfast was of a high standard, with a rich variety of choices, and a distinct Japanese flair. The tender omelets, crispy capelin, and exquisite Japanese pastries were all authentically prepared. At the same time, Chinese and Western hot dishes, breads, congees, cold cuts, and braised meats were all available, catering to different tastes. The view from the breakfast restaurant was a particular highlight. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see a serene courtyard: a neatly trimmed lawn, a rock garden pond, and even white geese leisurely strolling about. The garden scenery was elegant and comfortable. Enjoying breakfast while taking in the view really helped me slow down and relax. The guest room was clean and spacious, with a well-organized layout and good natural light, making for a relaxed and unconfined stay. The overall service was on point, and the breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for accommodation in Beijing.

On my recent vacation trip to Beijing, my schedule was packed, so I was incredibly grateful to have stayed at the Park Hyatt Beijing. Before my arrival, Legorie reached out to understand our travel plans and went above and beyond to arrange an early check-in for us. With the holiday crowds, being able to get into our room early to drop off our luggage and start our day unhurriedly was a huge relief. The high-floor room offered expansive views, and the interior was quiet and calming. The location was convenient for getting around, and the service was attentive and discreet. It truly set a comfortable tone for the start of our journey.

This hotel offers pretty good value for money, with an excellent location and affordable prices. While the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. However, the customer service and the female front desk staff were quite subpar. They were unwilling to offer room upgrades or late check-outs, which was disappointing. I hope they improve, as it would be a shame to waste such a great location and the efforts of most of the other staff members.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time! The hotel's location is very convenient; I didn't have to go far for transportation or dining. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was good, so I had a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff, especially Chance, provided warm and thoughtful service, efficiently handling check-in and check-out, and patiently answering any questions. The public areas were clean and impressive, and the facilities were well-maintained. Overall, it offered great value for money, with no disappointments. It's suitable for both short trips and business stays. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose Sofitel Beijing Central (Accor) again next time I'm in the area. It's truly worth staying!

It's been a few years since I last stayed at Atour, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bedding is even more comfortable now. The mattress is just right, not too soft and not too hard, providing perfect support for the entire body. The bath towels and face towels in the bathroom come in sealed packaging after being cleaned and disinfected, which gives you extra peace of mind. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the lobby decor is cozy yet grand. Among other chain hotels in the same category, Atour is definitely my top choice.

I chose the classic Ritz to see Leon Lai's concert and explore the capital. 1. **Location: Absolutely unbeatable** Right downstairs from SKP and Huamao Shopping Mall, and a 3-5 minute walk to Dawanglu subway station. It's perfect for business trips or shopping, very close to Guomao and Sanlitun, and easy to catch a taxi. It's an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle; once inside the hotel, you're completely shielded from the road noise. 2. **Style: Classic British 'Old Money' charm** Features a European retro manor design with crystal chandeliers, oil paintings, and garden courtyards. The ambiance is fantastic and ideal for photos.

We chose Beijing for our high school graduation trip, and stayed at this hotel for five nights out of our six-day journey. Since it was before the peak summer season, the price was quite reasonable, and the overall experience was very smooth! The hotel's hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. I didn't experience any skin discomfort during our five-night stay (though this can vary for different people). The robot delivery for takeout was prompt and convenient; no need to go downstairs. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. It wasn't just generic pre-made food; the dishes were fresh. We stayed in a twin room. The room had good natural light, and the window size was appropriate. Some rooms seemed to face office buildings, while others faced the road, but overall it was quiet. The air conditioning made a slight noise, but it didn't significantly affect our sleep. The laundry room on the second floor was well-equipped with washing, drying, and steam ironing facilities. You could do it yourself or leave your laundry card for staff to assist. Also, we requested room cleaning every day after we left. Coming back in the evening to a tidy room was a pleasant feeling, and they never moved our luggage around. Issues were resolved promptly. One evening, our key card wouldn't open the door, and someone came upstairs to fix it very quickly. Additionally, opposite the front desk on the first floor, there's a coffee machine, ice dispenser, small fridge, and lemon water, all with disposable cups provided – very convenient. There are many shopping malls near the hotel. Across the street is a 24-hour Lawson convenience store. A bit further is a mall called 'Saite +' (赛特+), which isn't huge but has everything you need, making it quite practical for daily life. If you don't want to go too far but want to eat at a restaurant, you can check the food establishments on the map in advance. The subway is about 600 meters away, I think? There's a shared bike parking spot right downstairs, so you can cycle if you don't want to walk. Plus, the subway is Line 1, which makes it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Mixue Bingcheng (蜜雪冰城) nearby~ For taxis, the pick-up point is directly at the hotel entrance, so it's easy to find.

There was a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, so no water was turned on. When I went back that evening and asked for water, the front desk gave me some. On the second-to-last morning, I ran into the housekeeper, who said she'd turned on the water. It turned out there was a leftover bottle of water in it, so she refilled it. On the morning of my last day, when I asked for water again, she seemed reluctant to give it to me! I mean, if the front desk is so generous, why can't you?

🧻 **Hygiene:** Public areas were clean and well-maintained. The room was also generally tidy, though I didn't scrutinize every detail. 🛁 **Facilities:** The hotel opened 10 years ago, and while the facilities appear well-maintained, they are generally quite old. The shower and toilet areas were dimly lit, and there was no smart toilet. There were few power outlets by the bed, and I had to search for the switch for the bedside lamp near the bulb. The electric sheer curtain switch was by the window, which was inconvenient from the bed. If driving, you have to park in the China World Mall underground parking lot, which costs 10 yuan/hour. 🧊 **Environment:** The hotel has a unique location. Although I didn't stay in a room facing east towards the CBD, the view south towards Yintai and Guomao Bridge was also good. This environmental rating is mainly for the location and height. The lobby is very quiet, giving a sense of being removed from the hustle and bustle. The air conditioning in the public areas on the room floors was too cold; perhaps it's to accommodate foreign guests, but I personally didn't like it. 👤 **Service:** There was no doorman to greet me at the ground floor entrance. Before going up to the 64th-floor lobby for check-in, no one informed me that a room card was needed to access the lobby floor. No one guided me upon arrival either; it was purely self-service, which made for a rather unremarkable experience. Turndown service was already prepared when I entered the room. All guest rooms come with executive privileges; the basic room type is essentially an executive room, with no separate executive floor distinction. The minibar offered a good variety, but everything was chargeable. Iris Shang, who handled my checkout, was efficient and had a pleasant demeanor, providing excellent service – a definite highlight. 🍽️ **Dining:** I arrived too late to experience the afternoon tea and happy hour, and I also didn't get up for breakfast. Before leaving, I took a look at the lounge on the 80th floor, and the view was great. Later, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bananas and ginseng fruit in the welcome fruit basket were delicious and very sweet. I'll look for an opportunity to try the dining options or have a meal at Grill 79 separately next time. 💬 **Summary:** I stayed for one night on a whim. Having never stayed in a tall building in Beijing's CBD, I chose the tallest one, the China World Summit Wing. The location and views are fantastic, but the hotel is generally quite old, and the style feels more business-oriented. After turndown service, there was a small bookmark on the bed with a quote from ”Lost Horizon” that coincidentally mentioned ”Shangri-La.” If interpreted as the hotel brand, it's a bit... hahaha.

I was initially going to give a perfect score. After all, the location is great, the views are nice, and it's right next to the CCTV Headquarters, a landmark building. Most importantly, the two rooms are well-suited for families traveling with older children. However, when I tried to sleep at night, I discovered a severe mildew smell. It was so strong I couldn't sleep comfortably. Plus, the comforter was yellowish and felt dirty. Even though it's an older hotel, they should at least ensure the bedding is clean and the rooms are well-maintained. Otherwise, this mold could harm guests' health. On another note, the breakfast is indeed limited, as other reviews mentioned, but it's enough to fill you up. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it because that moldy smell is just too strong.

I forgot to take photos of the hotel and the room, but I managed to snap a few exterior shots while waiting for my train. The surroundings are really quiet and peaceful, which is perfect for someone like me who dislikes noise. Most importantly, this is the cleanest hotel I've stayed at during my business trip these past few days 😂. Otherwise, I would have a terrible impression of Beijing. I previously stayed at a 1000-yuan hotel that was absolutely filthy.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and right off the bat, the transportation is incredibly convenient and well-connected. Getting around by taxi or subway is a breeze. The front desk service was also excellent; there's always someone available 24/7, and they're super responsive to any requests via message. Plus, there are tons of great food options around the hotel. Highly recommend!

I made a good decision choosing this organisation for my first hostel experience. Great location and attentive service made my trip perfect. Such a nice price for the location. The furniture and facilities are modern and attractive, cleanness is well maintained. If you need some consumables, such as towels, tooth brushes etc., they’re offered in the vending machine, which is just convenient.

Finally got some time to write this review, I've been swamped with graduation stuff lately. Beijing was the third stop on my graduation trip in June, and just like Shanghai, hotels here are seriously pricey, haha! So I started looking at hostels, checking reviews, and ended up picking this place. I was a bit hesitant at first, so I only booked two nights. But then I didn't want to leave, so I extended it to 2+2+1, staying a total of five nights (Beijing is definitely worth a deep dive!). This hostel is genuinely great. It's clean, and the front desk staff are all super friendly. It's a new hostel, I had a private twin room with an en-suite bathroom, the shower pressure was good, there's a fresh air system, it's close to the subway, and you can even walk to Beijing Railway Station. And! The hairdryer is fantastic! Not one of those old, weak ones that make your arm ache before your hair is even dry. I'm not a shill, haha. If I had to pick one downside, it would probably be the soundproofing. But all hostels have that issue, and for this price in Beijing, honestly, what more could you ask for?

Overall, I was very satisfied, and the service was excellent. However, the floor around the bed was quite dusty, which I hope can be improved. Also, there were several loud splashing sounds at night. If you are cleaning the room, please do not do so after 11 PM, as I was repeatedly woken up by the noise.
