"Nice: Individual staff are definitely friendly and helpful. Location is good except the drop off and parking space during peak hours and days are challenging.
Disappointed: This is the 2nd time in 2 years that we stayed here. Couldnt get twin beds although our bookings had selected and remarks for twin beds as well, and we stayed for 8nights. The staff said we had to pay to upgrade instead for twin beds.
Swimming pool at the roof top has the best view of the city, but is a little small though."

"I have fond memories when staying at Aston Hotels as the service staff are always polite & smiling. Always going out of their way to please.
However, I observed that the premises are normally on the older properties, albeit they try their best to keep clean & that the hot/water works well.
I commend the front desk & the concierge personnel for their cheerful demeanour & eager smiles.
It's near to the nice local produce shop for fruits & packed gifts goods of Pontianak which I bought for home."

"Located on the busy Jalan Gajah Mada, where nearby food and supermarket is a plus. It is basically a 2 and a half star, why? Don't qualify as a 3 stars due to aging furniture in room, and lack of proper dining facilities.The proximity to coffee shops & street side restaurants saves it from relegating to a 2 stars joint.I will tolerate it for a 2 nights stay at best."

"Overall it is above average considering the price. The location is quite central. Bathroom cleanliness needs some improvement. There is a multilevel car park beside the hotel which is connected to the hotel by a walkway. Parking is free for hotel guests."

EEffendi LieThe clerk was very friendly and light hands to help. At that time we got a 4th floor room and since we were over 60 then we asked for 2nd or 1st floor. The second day the clerk provided the 2nd floor so we were not tired.
