The room's main feature is the bunk bed. While the rest of the space is quite small, it's still larger than an Ibis in Paris. Parking is 22 CHF per night, and the city tax is approximately 13 CHF.

The space was much bigger than I expected and very clean. For the price, it offered incredible value for money compared to other places I've stayed in Europe. There's also a sparkling water and hot water dispenser, and a common room. Overall, I had a very positive experience. Transportation: The only potential drawback is that reaching the train station requires two transfers, as there's no direct route. The journey, including transfers, takes approximately 25 minutes. Apparently, road construction over the past few months has caused the originally direct routes to be diverted, and it seems these roadworks won't conclude until the end of 2025. When I made my booking, the construction hadn't started, and I only became aware of it upon arrival. If this is a concern for you, I recommend checking Google Maps when you book to confirm whether the roadworks have finished.

While the room wasn't overly spacious and felt a bit compact, it was well-designed and equipped with all necessary amenities. What truly impressed me was the cleanliness of the room. The floor, bed, and bathroom were all spotless. The sheets and duvet covers were fresh and crisp, and the bathroom was free of water stains and odors. Attention to detail was evident everywhere. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a short walk to both the subway and train stations, which was a real game-changer for anyone traveling by public transport. Whether catching an early morning train or returning late at night, it was stress-free and significantly saved travel time and energy. Despite the smaller room size, its outstanding cleanliness and superb location still make it a highly recommended stay.

Ibis Budget stands out as an ideal option for economy-conscious travelers, thanks to its minimalist and modern design coupled with exceptional value for money. The rooms are compact yet efficiently laid out, typically equipped with comfortable double beds or bunk beds, making them suitable for families or groups of friends. The hotel’s lobby and corridors feature a simple and bright design, creating a clean and tidy atmosphere. While amenities are limited, the showers and sinks are fully functional, meeting basic accommodation needs and ensuring a comfortable journey without breaking the bank.

This hotel is quite affordable, so I didn't have high expectations. However, its location is excellent; it's about a 20-minute walk to the city centre. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. This is an excellent option if you're looking to save money while staying close to the city centre.

It was really nice, we even got free transportation card and free entry to casino, the room is clean and cozy, with nice view, definitely recommend

Excellent location just hop on a tram from Bern central station. Professional staff. Check-in was quick. Always here at the reception to assist guests. Common space at the first floor has everything you need. Microwave, paper cup, and utensils.

A bit far from the center but free transportation for the customers, no amenities

The hotel was conveniently located within the expo area, however for the price point, it was way too overpriced for the hotel amenities.

The hotel is three (3) to four (4) kilometers away from the Old Town of Bern and less than one (1) kilometer away from the New Town of Bern. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of food at a very reasonable price. We saved a lot by adding it on our trip considering that a decent meal on nearby restaurants costs at least 30 Francs. The rooms are just right when it comes to their size. There is no heater, hair dryer, toothpaste and toothbrush though, only the basic toiletries are provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Bern.
