"The hotel has been open for many years and should have been renovated. It has an outdoor swimming pool and a large front garden. The interior decoration is also very beautiful. The rooms have balconies. The rooms at the edge will be blocked. It is a pity that the ordinary rooms in the hotel do not have bathtubs. The breakfast is good, the service is warm, and the check-out is delayed before leaving. We walked from the hotel to the Chicken Church on a small path, which may take 20 minutes. It is more convenient to call grab. There are no convenience stores around."

"It's a very rare non-view hotel among the hotels. It was a bungalow accommodation in the middle of the rice field. There is no restaurant around, so you have to eat dinner at the hotel. Although the food is priced, I like it because it is made with fresh ingredients. Especially in Islamic countries, beer can be ordered, so I ate it very much It was nice to give unlimited delicious coffee that was dull but not used.
But maybe it's because the entrance to the softer is different. It's a long way to walk. We called grapp and rode a tuk-tuk when we came.
The accommodation is quiet and quiet, so it is good to heal, but once it gets dark, it is difficult to get out of the accommodation."
"We had a wonderful stay at Wat Agung Guest House! Reception desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and big enough to stay comfortably with two big backpacks. The location is perfect if you want to get to Borobudur temple early-It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the ticket office. You can buy a ticket online, or at the ticket office. I suggest going early if you opt for buying a ticket on site as there is a daily max of 1200 visitors allowed on the temple. We bought tickets online on Traveloka (some online tickets, like ours exclude the temple visit, but you can pay separately for a temple ticket add-on for 80 000 IDR per person) There are a few shops and restaurants around. Definitely recommend this property!"
"The hotel is located in the downtown area, so even solo travelers don't have to worry. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the public areas have a sense of design. I really like it and it's definitely a good trip!
Turn right and walk 200 meters out of the hotel to find supermarkets, restaurants, and snack stands!
The staff is so enthusiastic. When we failed to get a taxi, she took a motorcycle to take us to catch the Borobudur sunrise tour
The front desk girl Anin is beautiful and kind! It was a really good trip!"
"The environment is very good in all aspects, but the equipment is not good. Only one person can take a shower in each room, otherwise the next person will get cold water, which is worrying"
"AMAZING. Our favourite place we've stayed in all of Asia after a few months travelling! The bungalow and area is as beautiful as the photos and it's worth staying just for the incredible floating breakfast. Great value for money for what you get. Bobby the owner was chilled out and friendly chatting to us and other guests making us feel welcome. The views are incredible... Watching the sunset over the fields with a volcano in the backdrop was our favourite moment of Java. Pool was spotless, flowers were stunning, the design of everything inside the bungalows and outside were impressive and so artistic. The bungalow also had great air con, we didn't see any bugs or mosquitoes which surprised us and had a great hot shower.
The location is far from restaurants but we ordered food via grab and were happy to stay by the pool anyway as we didn't want to leave the relaxation.
If you book make sure you book more than one night as you won't want to leave!"
"This hotel and cafe is within walking distance of Borobudur.
It's in a very quiet location and easy to find – the cafe is right next to the road.
Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the room that day for some reason. I tried asking the owner, and he recommended waiting three minutes, but the water never came.
Also, the Wi-Fi didn't work in my room, so I had to work in the cafe.
Otherwise, the owner was very warm and pleasant, and the food was delicious – I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there.
It's quiet, but I was awakened at 4 a.m. by loud Muslim prayers because there's a mosque nearby.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and had a good rest. The room and bed were clean. Thank you for your hospitality"

Amazing
GGuest UserBreakfast a la carte is very very nice, fresh fruit is also great
The room is made up twice, very friendly staffs
The location is amazing as you can see Borobudur from the Patio restaurant (where you will have breakfast)
Amenity is truly lacking: no gym of its own, instead need to go to its sister hotel : Plataran Heritage, the shared gym is a dusty small room with one treadmill, one workout dumbbell set
The spa also looks quiet old, we ended up going to another hotel for spa
GGuest UserReally breathtaking scenery, friendly and supportive staffs, tasty foods, and surrounded by natures...many good points they have. You can enjoy chill time there. Each room has bird's name in local language which is very cute.
As the place is quite far from the city and the road is very narrow and bumping, if you easily get car sick, it's better to take medicine for that before head to there.
GGuest UserLocation is great, only 5 mins walk to Borobudur Temple. The staff are friendly and helpful but not all can speak English. Room is simple and basic. We can chat via WhatsApp no need to go to reception counter. I borrowed ironing board and iron and the staff brought them over and helped me to set-up nicely for me. Like the kampung environment with rooster waking me up every morning. Must turn on electric mosquito repellent, second night I forgot to on it I got 2 mosquito bites. Breakfast is basic but suffice for me. I chose American breakfast but excluding sausages. Fresh juice also included in breakfast. Those items in the menu are so affordable, I ordered fried tempeh and Javanese herbal drink, really nice.
TTim-leeA bit off, a little far away from the town, don't even think about walking to the town, there are farmhouses, and then farmland, but the pool room can see Borobudur, although a bit small. The rooms are about 7-8 villas. They are not big, they should not be regular hotels, and there are not many residents, like private homes. The proprietress is of Chinese descent from a snake, a big dog brought back by Italy, and the service staff are all females, which is quite enthusiastic. Unfortunately, the TV has to be charged separately, similar to domestic Internet TV programs. In short, except for the inconvenient transportation and nothing around, it is not bad. Can help call a taxi to the scenic area, it seems 150K round trip.
GGuest UserThe hotel is 20 years old, and the hygiene and facilities are good. Although it is rated four stars, this hotel still left me with deep and good memories. It is very close to Borobudur. The breakfast and dinner are good, western style, and taste good. There is a mosque next to it. I prepared earplugs in advance for prayer at 4 o'clock in the morning, which was not affected and I got a perfect sleep.
TTuya22I had a delightful stay at this small family home stay. Tomo and his wife were incredibly sweet, always accessible, and genuinely helpful. Opting for the deluxe room was a great choice – clean, and the daily cleaning option was appreciated. The traditional breakfast was delicious and healthy. The proximity to Borobudur temple and local eateries, combined with a quiet atmosphere, made the location great. A few minor suggestions for improvement include proper netting on ventilator holes in the room, fixing the squeaky bathroom door, and loud noises from the bathroom air con. Overall, a lovely place with a welcoming family touch.
路路Very distinctive hotel, quiet service staff are very enthusiastic, the whole hotel is not easy to find in the mountains, but walking into the hotel feels like an outdoor Taoyuan. Because all the air in the tropics is humid and the hotel occupies a large area, some locations are not well maintained, but the overall feeling is good. The plateau is cold at night and does not require air conditioning, but the quilt is a bit damp. There is a small courtyard outside the room where you can sit down and drink and chat, but the door lock is broken because it is too late and there is no request to change the room. It was already 10 o'clock to the hotel and I went the wrong way. After check-in, I went to the restaurant for dinner. There are not many varieties and it tastes good. Breakfast is also very simple and has Southeast Asian characteristics. The taste is also good, I prefer the original ecological experience. Very satisfied will recommend friends to stay.
FFadlithis is the second time,in general, the rooms, facilities and services are good.only when the guests are full, the breakfast preparation is blocked.early information at 7 am is available, you can only eat at 7.30...
Overall Wahid Borobudur quite good and comfortable place to stay ....
GGuest UserThe place is located in a village, and if you don't have a bike, it's difficult to get there.
But the host and his friend are incredibly welcoming and warm.
Unfortunately, I was met by either a guest or an elderly member of his family, and at first we didn't understand each other because I tried to ask about water or Wi-Fi, and they didn't really answer.
After the host's friend arrived, everything was resolved very well.
I had a wonderful stay, a clean room, a shower with hot water, and in the morning, the host took me to Borobudur.
Great experience and some slight discomfort the day before.
Thank you for your hospitality
