Lovely new boutique hotel in a great location. We booked the room with a courtyard which was more expensive but worth every penny. The hotel is located in a little alley only accessible by foot or bike. They were great in sending us instructions via WeChat on how to get there and also helped us arrange a private car hire from the high speed rail station. It was an easy 5 minute walk from the main road with our luggage. The little alleyways are full of character. The hotel also sent us tons of info on local food and attractions close to the hotel as well. The room itself was beautiful, with everything you’ll need and we especially loved the courtyard. We enjoyed the little box of local snacks and the local tea offered in the room. No coffee though, so make sure you bring your own instant coffee packets. The location is great - we walked everywhere. It’s just mere minutes to Pai Fang Street and also walkable to attractions like Kai Yuan Temple, Guang Ji Bridge and Tower Gate. Lots of food options in the area - from local snacks to little eateries and full service restaurants. We’ll be back if we ever come back to Chaozhou.

Enjoyed the stay in Teochew Minglin Mansion. Location is in Chaozhou ancient city, Must be prepared to do a lot of walking.

Hotel is located near to old street and very convenient. Hotel staffs is very helpful and friendly. They even help to collect our parcel. Overall is very fantastic stay.

A very good homestay in Teochew. You can get good advices to explore the place. The location is good, you can walk to reach the food and snacks. The front desk is helpful. Help us to get our laundry back to our room, and even help to book the train ticket. Overall a good experience indeed

Very good location, close to the Main Street of all the restaurants. Very quiet at night despite being in the town centre. Staffs were very polite and helpful.

Absolutely amazing, every little detail. The hotel is charming, beautifully designed and the rooms are spacious, with every convenience of modern living - better than a five star hotel in almost every way. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and have tons of very very good recommendations for restaurants and services. From drivers to rentals to the best things to see. The restaurants we tried on their recommendation were excellent. Far better quality than most on the walking street - I just wish we had more time to try them all - two days was not enough. The rooms are perfect for two couples or a family, the bathroom has enough privacy, and they have very nice quality amenities. The air conditioners keep the room warm in winter, and the beds are very comfortable. You can also bring back food from outside to eat in the common courtyard. Would very highly recommend this hotel if you are going to spend time in the old city. One of the best I have stayed at.

Very good experience! Before setting off, I received a WeChat message from the housekeeper, detailing the location of the B&B and the delicious food and shopping nearby. As soon as I got off the bus, I saw the sign for Ming Lin Mansion. I followed the sign and entered Xia Dongping Road. After walking for about 5 minutes, I saw the grand facade of the mansion. I entered from the side and almost rushed into the main entrance. The service was very good and there was tea at the reception area. Different teas are provided every day, including Sydney tea, Sanbao tea, old medicine orange, etc. There is a multi-purpose hall next to it, where you can drink tea, and there is also a library corner. There are a dozen rooms in total, and the garden is very classic. It was very chill to sit in the yard and work the next day. Children also love to run and play in the yard, so they don't have to worry about safety like in a hotel. Breakfast is not included, but there are breakfast shops/** nearby and it is convenient. Everyone can gather at the table in the courtyard, which feels very local. The next street is Archway Street, Congheng Street passes through it and is roughly where the second archway is, and Guangji Gate/Bridge is also within walking distance. This time I came here only to eat and stroll around, not too much to visit the attractions. Overall, I will order Mingchaofu next time!

The hotel is located in an alley. It was renovated from an old building and retains the original layout. The whole environment is quiet in a bustling city. It takes only five minutes to get to Xiashuimen and Paifang Street, which is very convenient for travel. The hotel's service is also in place, and it is a pleasant stay experience!
