"Overall a pretty okay stay if you are not fussy. 10 minutes walk from Zermatt station, easy to access. Fret not if you are staying in the higher floors, there’s an elevator. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Path is well lit at night. Bed and toilet are clean, the floor is abit dusty but not a big issue for me :) PS, this hotel is nit allowed to use our own hair dryer due to voltage, hair dryer is provided by the hotel. No using of heating / cooking too."

"Overall, the hotel itself met expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and facilities. Everything about the physical stay was enjoyable. However, the experience was significantly let down by the level of customer service. Switzerland has a strong reputation for hospitality, which made this even more disappointing. The reception staff, in particular, came across as unwelcoming and disengaged. There was no warmth, no greeting upon arrival, and interactions felt more like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The lack of sincerity and basic courtesy created an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout our stay. It’s a shame because this could have been a near-perfect experience. With even a modest improvement in attitude, kindness, and understanding of what true hospitality means, this hotel could easily leave a much better impression. As it stands, the poor customer service overshadowed what was otherwise a pleasant stay."

"We love the hotel and room. From station pickup to check in and breakfast. Every staff is nice. Room is comfortable with magnificent views of Matterhorn. From hotel, it is 10 mins leisure walk to cable station to visit Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Strongly recommended to visit and stay at this hotel."

"You can see the Matterhorn from the accommodation. The breakfast is also fantastic. There are about two types of bread, three types of ham, cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, and coffee. What's unique is that the shower room is a wet room, which was convenient. There's no elevator. However, it's located on a steep slope, so carrying luggage up was really tough! If your luggage is heavy, it takes 15 minutes whether you walk or take the bus. I highly recommend taking the bus, or if you plan to walk, use the road where cars drive. Alternatively, if it's a short stay, I suggest leaving your luggage in a coin locker at Zermatt station."

"Just a 10-second walk from Nihonjin-bashi, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The location is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and offered a nice view as well. While it wasn't a Matterhorn-view room, we still enjoyed a lovely view of the Zermatt townscape. If I get the chance to visit again, I would definitely want to stay here."

"I stayed at Hotel Parnass during my time in Zermatt, and it proved to be a very convenient and comfortable base for exploring the town and surrounding mountains. The location is one of its biggest strengths. The hotel is right in the centre of Zermatt, meaning you’re within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s also only about a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is ideal when arriving with luggage or heading out early for mountain excursions. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. It had a cosy, alpine feel that suits Zermatt perfectly, and it provided a good place to relax after a day out in the mountains. Breakfast was included in my stay, and it was a great way to start the day. Having breakfast on site makes mornings much easier, especially if you’re planning an early start for skiing, hiking, or taking one of the mountain railways. From a practical perspective, the central location means you can easily access lifts, train connections, and walking routes without needing any additional transport. Everything feels close by, which is a big advantage in a destination like Zermatt. I would highly recommend Hotel Parnass for anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable hotel in Zermatt. It’s a great option if you want to be in the heart of the town with easy access to everything while still enjoying a relaxed alpine atmosphere."

"The location is excellent, very close to Zermatt station, and having a supermarket nearby was incredibly convenient. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and our room was well-equipped with a fridge and a hairdryer, with ample space to spread out our luggage. Breakfast was delicious, setting us up for a great start to the day. They even have a jacuzzi – I really regretted not bringing a swimsuit! As it was raining, we made good use of their transfer service to the station, and we were so pleased with their friendly and accommodating welcome."

"The room and staff were first class. Baggage storage, completed check in so we could easily get keys when we returned from day out. The breakfast was very nice. They upgraded our room. Wished we could of enjoyed the place longer than the 1 night."

"Location was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station! Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc. the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available. The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!"

"Location is slightly further from the train station, however you can hire a local EV taxi for est. CHF5/person from hotel to the train station (together with your luggages). Breakfast spread was decent and would recommend if you’re traveling on a budget to Zermatt. Down the road you’re able to see this Matterhorn view!"
