"My stay at Jinshi International was absolutely perfect! I especially want to highlight the buffet breakfast and the free shuttle service. The breakfast had a great variety, blending both Chinese and Western options. The local donkey meat pancake and lamb intestine soup were authentic, and they even had low-fat whole grains and fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, so I could eat healthily even while on a diet. The dishes were refilled promptly and were clean and fresh. I pre-booked the shuttle to the high-speed rail station, and the driver was waiting on time, actively helping with my luggage. It saved me both hassle and money getting to and from the station. The room was clean, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. All my travel and dining needs were well taken care of. This is my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cangzhou."

"I usually stay at one of two hotels when I'm on business in Cangzhou: the Golden Lion Hotel or the Arcadia. The front desk staff, especially Li Huize, provided excellent and thoughtful service, even preparing welcome gifts and drinks. First, about the room: it was clean, but the facilities were outdated. There wasn't even a USB port in the room, which I suggest the hotel updates. Next, the service: there was no doorman at the entrance to open the car door or help with luggage upon arrival. The service felt impersonal. This is definitely something the hotel should learn from the Golden Lion Hotel, where the service is much more welcoming and enthusiastic. Furthermore, the hotel's room service staff were not very warm; they seemed rather aloof. And the hallway had a pervasive musty smell. Finally, the hotel breakfast: the variety was not as good as the Golden Lion. The ham sausages were not pure meat, but starchy, and the bacon also looked pale and not like pure meat. There were no desserts, and the lamb intestine soup wasn't freshly prepared. When I called for ice to my room, it was brought in a large ramen-style bowl, not an ice bucket. This really felt out of place for a five-star hotel."

My favorite was the handmade 'jianbing' (Chinese crepes); the chef made them fresh on the spot. The batter was soft and chewy, the crispy fritter was perfectly crunchy, and the sauce had just the right amount of saltiness. It was authentic street food flavor without even leaving the hotel! The restaurant was clean and odorless, food was refilled quickly, and the service was excellent. This 'jianbing' alone is worth coming back for!"

I booked an executive king room, hoping for some quiet, but it turned out to be on the first floor. The day after we checked in, there was a wedding – which is lovely, of course, and good to share in the joy! However, it got incredibly noisy from 6 AM, which woke me up. I have to mention this. Also, evening noises from the hallway were very clear; the overall soundproofing isn't great. Breakfast was better than I expected. There was a good variety and the food was tasty. Items were replenished quickly, and it served until 11 AM, which is fantastic for us late risers. Since it quieted down after 8 AM, I managed to fall back asleep and went down for breakfast at 10 AM. Kuddos to the hotel for that! The location is within a popular tourist area, which means dining options nearby are quite limited, and the hotel's ground floor restaurant closed early. However, getting to other attractions by taxi was very convenient, usually just a basic fare."
