"From check-in to check-out, everything was thoughtful. The concierge and front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, even thoughtfully preparing brown sugar ginger tea and welcome fruits. Facilities: The hotel has a 24-hour medical oxygen bar, and just 10 minutes there quickly relieves altitude sickness. The rooms have a diffuse medical oxygen supply, which lowers the perceived altitude to about 2700 meters, allowing for a good night's sleep. Service: As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a butler helped with our luggage and escorted us to our room after check-in. The next morning, when we were checking out, the front desk proactively asked if we needed help with our luggage, which was a very thoughtful touch. Hygiene: The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, was clean, tidy, and well-ventilated. The lobby was also kept spotless at all times. The airport shuttle stop is right outside the hotel, and booking certain room types includes a free airport drop-off, making it the best choice for return journeys."

It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to the vastness of Western Sichuan after a challenging hike. It is cozy, aesthetic, clean, and spacious enough for your body to finally relax. It is best if you arrive on a sunny day. You can sit under the tree with the sunlight dancing, music playing, and the two birds nearby - one trying to sing you a song, the other chirping a 'nihao' to welcome you. In that moment, you will feel your heart at peace. If you ever need anything, the owner is always there to support you in a heartbeat (They speak English fluently!). If Western Sichuan is a dream, Sanmao is the perfect ending to a memory you will hold dear for a lifetime."

This was the most delightful accommodation of our trip, and I have to recommend it to everyone! 🏔️ Amazing Location and Views The homestay is located in Reguang Village, Shangri-La Town, just a 10-minute drive from the scenic area entrance. It's a peaceful spot amidst the hustle and bustle. Opening the window, you're greeted by the majestic Niulang Mountain and fields of blooming highland barley. During the day, you can watch the snowy peaks and clouds, and at night, enjoy the Milky Way from the rooftop bar – the ambiance is incredible. 🎨 Superb Design and Facilities It boasts a light ******* luxury style, having won a CBDA design award, with incredibly high-quality details. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with floor heating, a humidifier, and Wi-Fi, making for a very comfortable stay at high altitude. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains right from your bed – perfect for photos! 👩🍳 Five-Star Service and Experience The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively helped with luggage, lent us hiking poles and windbreakers, and provided excellent tips for the scenic area. They offer free blood oxygen testing and have an oxygen concentrator, so there's no need to panic about altitude sickness. In the evenings, there are ******* dance lessons and complimentary ******* clothing experiences, offering an immersive taste of ******* culture. The highland barley cakes, matsutake chicken noodle soup, and butter tea were all incredibly delicious – we were full every day. Having breakfast in the scenic restaurant, accompanied by snow-capped mountains and blooming flowers, was an absolute joy. When you come to Yading, don't hesitate to book Sangyelinka! Beautiful design, stunning views, warm service, delicious breakfast, and excellent value for money. Next time I visit Yading, I'll definitely stay here again and will enthusiastically recommend it to all my friends!"

"The B&B's overall ambiance is amazing, with a strong ethnic vibe everywhere. The owner, a lovely lady, is incredibly gentle and kind, offering attentive and thoughtful service. She can help arrange travel tickets and tour itineraries. The location is superb, just a five or six-minute walk to the scenic area, and they even offer free shuttle service to and from town. The front desk staff patiently recommends local specialty dishes, making dining and getting around super convenient. I highly recommend it! Although I didn't take any pictures, I truly urge everyone to go; I promise I'm not a shill!"

"I had high expectations for this hotel, given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I had booked five rooms. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and there was a queue for check-in with only one staff member at the counter. As a result, the service quality was poor. The process was not smooth and was frequently interrupted by other guests. Upon heading to our rooms, we found the hotel corridor lights were not turned on. The dark corridors made it difficult to locate our room numbers. To our disappointment, one of the rooms was not ready. While we would understand an early check-in issue at 2:00 PM, finding an unprepared room at 6:30 PM is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The overall service was a major letdown. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, breakfast has a good selection."

"Of all the hotels I stayed at during my trip to Western Sichuan, this was the best I could recommend! First: It was cheap! Incredibly cheap! Excellent value for money! Second: Because it was a new hotel, the facilities were all new and clean! Anyone who's traveled to Western Sichuan knows how important a clean hotel is! Third: It had underfloor heating! When I booked, I saw it had underfloor heating, but the price was so cheap that I even called the owner to confirm it was there and could be turned on. I checked again when I arrived. I was amazed when I went in; the lobby was huge and bright, completely unlike its ordinary appearance from the outside. The only downside is that it's located in a village, making it more suitable for those traveling by car."

"Regarding transportation, my navigation couldn't lead me directly to the hotel's courtyard. I ended up calling the front desk, and a staff member came out to guide me. The route is: follow the main road to the alley next to the 'Snack Youming' store, and go all the way to the end. The room and facilities were great; I even got a free upgrade to a suite. The shower pressure and water temperature were perfect, and the bed's firmness was just right. There's also a laundry room in the hotel. Overall, the facilities and environment met my expectations. However, there were two minor drawbacks. The toilet flush button was blocked by the vanity, making it a bit inconvenient to use. Also, there was no place to hang clothes in the room. The front desk also offers oxygen top-up services."

"This is an excellent hotel, easily one of the best in Daocheng. The facilities are new and comprehensive, and everything is spotlessly clean. Parking is convenient. I found all the staff to be enthusiastic and energetic. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, walks, and dining nearby. Most importantly, the price is fair and reasonable. Absolutely fantastic!"

"The hotel might look old, BUT it has a grand view! The view from either my room or the rooftop is incredible! I visited in May 2026 and I can see BOTH the golden sunrise and the golden sunset from here. The hotel owner was also nice eventhough we did not talk much. Prepare your cold clothes, so you can enjoy the incredible view comfortably. PS: My room which was on the 3rd floor, was also clean eventhough they don't have elevator, so you have to use stairs if you stay here. But I would say it was an amazing stay for me."

"The lack of dry and wet separation in the bathroom is a bit unsatisfactory. The hotel service is very friendly. They will help you with your luggage when you arrive and leave. You can also take fruits and snacks from the front desk at will, and you will also receive souvenirs when you arrive at the hotel. Towels and bath towels are disposable, and the bath water is not very hot, so you will easily catch a cold after washing! It's very close to the town center. It's a ten-minute walk to the pedestrian street where you can take a stroll. It’s very close to the famous ******* restaurant. I ate highland barley cakes, blood sausage, roasted ******* pork, and yogurt there. They were huge and delicious."
