"This hotel is perfectly located in Zao Yan Plaza. It's just a short walk from where the long-distance bus drops you off, and only about a 10-minute stroll to the scenic area's main entrance. The suite perfectly met our needs – it was spacious and clean. The hallway had a unique charm, and all the amenities were well-stocked. Downstairs, the breakfast was excellent too. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, and they even contacted us in advance to confirm our details."

"The room was spotless and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a huge relief in the summer heat. Both hot and cold water came on instantly, and all the facilities felt brand new. They even lent us umbrellas when it rained in the morning at the scenic area! The receptionist was incredibly patient and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. Some of the courtyards even have hot springs. This place is truly ideal for tourists who've spent a long day exploring the scenic area. It's one of the closest accommodations to the park entrance, practically within walking distance. Plus, we were able to relax in the hotel lobby's lounge area with sofas and water during the time between checking out and catching our high-speed train in the afternoon."

"This is my second stay at the Starlight Hotel. It's close to the Zangwang Plaza drop-off point, and there are plenty of food and drink options nearby. The entrance to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area is about 1km away. [Tips] The front desk staff will explain how to explore the area and provide a map of the scenic spot. [Breakfast] Not provided, you'll need to eat out. [Pros] The environment is clean and tidy, the room is quite spacious, and the air quality is good – no smoke, mold, or sewage smells! Hot water comes out in genuinely 3 seconds. There's also a portable clothes rack in the room, which is perfect for hanging wet clothes; they dry overnight with the air conditioning on, very practical. The bathroom has a three-part wet/dry separation. For heating, there's an electric blanket. My last visit was in early March, and I was freezing cold walking through the Reed Lake section. I asked the front desk to turn on the electric blanket, and it was lovely to snuggle into the warm bed when I got back to the hotel. Be careful with the drain stopper; instructions are posted on the wall. Don't be like me and use too much force, causing the screw to come off the drain stopper. I had to trouble the manager to fix it (they didn't charge me, and even raved about how this mechanical type of drain stopper is indestructible!)."

"Our group of three guys went on a self-drive trip to Western Sichuan, and this guesthouse was hands down the biggest surprise and highlight of the entire journey. The overall experience even surpassed that of the Tianyuan Howard Johnson I'd stayed at before, offering incredible value for money. We had only booked one room, but the owner was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded us to a larger, more spacious room free of charge. They also provide a dedicated butler service, with staff who are attentive, responsive, and quickly and properly handle any requests, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. I absolutely have to rave about the hotel breakfast. The freshly cooked rice noodles were divine, with lamb that was stewed to perfection – tender and flavorful, not dry at all. The entire breakfast spread was thoughtfully curated, with a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and a well-planned nutritional profile. Eating it each morning instantly banished the fatigue from our high-altitude drives. The courtyard environment was immaculately maintained; the cleanliness was impeccable. There were also gentle, adorable cats in the yard that you could pet. Free coffee and ice were always available in the common areas, and relaxing in the courtyard during downtime created a wonderful ambiance. What truly touched us was an unexpected incident during our trip: we had a tire blowout while driving. Stranded on an unfamiliar road, we were at a loss. Thankfully, the kind owner stepped in to help, proactively contacting a reliable repair shop, overseeing the entire tire replacement process for us, and even arranging for our car to be safely stored. Afterwards, they thoughtfully provided transportation to and from Jiuzhaigou. This heartwarming assistance, which went above and beyond the call of duty, made us feel incredibly secure on our journey in a foreign place. Whether it was the facilities, the dining quality, the butler service, or the owner's outstanding hospitality, everything was faultless. This was the most memorable accommodation from our Western Sichuan trip, and I will definitely be highly recommending it to all my friends planning to travel the Western Sichuan loop. It will be our top choice again next time we visit!"

"We stayed in a family room this time, and the hotel service was excellent. We received welcome fruits, a complimentary traditional costume experience, late check-out, and free late-night snacks. They even provided a shuttle to Jiuzhaigou's entrance. The hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy dinner. The hygiene and environment were superb, and our butler, Xiao Ban, provided fantastic service, helping us with many issues. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel is super close to the scenic area, so you don't have to rush out early. A huge bonus is the hotel's round-trip shuttle service to and from the high-speed train station, which you can book through them. The driver was punctual and reliable, perfectly solving all our transportation worries. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The front desk and staff were very friendly, quick to respond to any issues, and incredibly thoughtful. Both the hotel's interior and exterior were well-maintained. Our room was clean and bright, and the public areas were neat and elegant, making for a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money. If you're visiting this area, this place should be your top choice. I genuinely recommend it to everyone."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are relatively new, and the decor style looks very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The projector works great, perfect for watching a movie after a day of sightseeing. Hygiene: It's clean and tidy. The cleaning staff are quite thorough and replace disposables daily. Environment: It's not far from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, and ordering takeout nearby is quite convenient. But I have to call out the breakfast place next to the hotel – it's a bit pricey, the taste is mediocre, and I'm not sure if it's the breakfast, but I've had an upset stomach every day after eating there these past two days. 😤 Service: The hotel staff are very helpful. They arrange shuttle services to and from the scenic area and are always ready to answer questions. Their attitude is great, and they do their best to help with any requests. Jiuzhaigou is beautiful, and Huanglong is also good (attaching two photos). It was a very pleasant trip."

"The hotel is right in the center of Pengfeng Village, very easy to find. The service is meticulous, the room is very clean, and the mattress is super comfortable. The breakfast is also clean, hygienic, and delicious. You can take a taxi or walk to the scenic spots, which offers good flexibility. The recommended restaurants are popular, affordable, and tasty – you won't regret ordering! We were on the first floor, and opening the window revealed beautiful flowers, which put us in a great mood."

"This newly opened Crystal Hotel is fantastic – there's absolutely no 'new hotel' smell in the rooms. The lobby looks incredibly classy, and the lobby bar is super convenient with a great ambiance. After a long day of exploring, it was so relaxing to just grab a drink and some snacks there in the evening. The hotel's location is also excellent, only about 10 minutes from Jiuzhaigou and the 'Eternal Love' show. Breakfast was really extensive too. I also have to commend the staff; they were so warm and friendly. I'll definitely choose this Crystal Hotel again if I get the chance to return!"

"Facilities: The room has many smart and thoughtful details. Cleanliness: The hotel is very new and gets great natural light. Ambiance: With the tall mountains and flowing river nearby, the white noise lulls you to sleep, making you feel close to nature. Service: The front desk staff, a young man and woman, were both kind and attentive. We were two adults and two children, and originally booked a standard room, but they upgraded us to a large double bed room. It had a big bathtub and a smart toilet, which the kids absolutely loved. This is a hotel worth staying at for several days. If the map location were more accurate, we could have found it more easily. It’s definitely worth visiting again, and the restaurant at the entrance has a unique local character. Special mention: The hotel can help arrange a shuttle service, which was a huge relief for us with luggage leaving the scenic area, saving us a lot of hassle and making things very convenient."
