But staying at this hotel completely changed my perspective and showed me the best way to enjoy it. The room's design perfectly captures the essence of a vacation; its 270-degree panoramic view frames Lugu Lake's mountains, water, clouds, and islands right inside your room. Whether you're lying in bed, sitting on the terrace, or relaxing by the window, you get an uninterrupted lake view. Waking up to the crisp birdsong in the morning and drawing back the curtains to reveal the shimmering lake surface was magical. Spending the afternoon sunbathing on the terrace, watching the cloud shadows slowly drift across the lake, all my anxiety and fatigue melted away, healed by this expanse of blue. The room quality was also superb – minimalist yet luxurious decor, soft and skin-friendly bedding, and impeccably clean details made for a comfortable and reassuring stay. The service was absolutely outstanding; attentive and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. They even helped us plan a super hassle-free itinerary, so we had an amazing time without needing to do any research ourselves. Coming to Lugu Lake, staying here truly is an ”immersive getaway.” I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the area!"

"The service was excellent, and the decor was also very nice. The location, with its lake view right outside the door, and the thoughtful little touches were truly impressive. Thinking back on the whole experience from the moment we arrived: 1. Upon getting out of the car, a receptionist proactively helped us with our luggage. The parking lot is a bit small, and turning around in the internal courtyard was a bit tricky. We ended up parking on the roadside in front of the hotel. On the way to our room, we asked the receptionist for recommendations on what to do and where to eat in Lugu Lake. They gave us very helpful advice, especially recommending the Mosuo roasted pork, which was delicious. Worth a try! 2. This was the first time I've seen a small footstool next to the toilet in a hotel room, and I absolutely needed it! Huge thumbs up for that. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with both air conditioning and underfloor heating, and the cooling worked perfectly. 3. The large glass on the hotel balcony was spotless, without any fingerprints. Excellent! The balcony offered direct lake views, perfect for watching both sunrise and sunset. 4. The sound system was also great, perfect for artistic types to sit on the balcony, listen to music, and have a drink. That's exactly what we did, though we kept the volume low, slightly worried about disturbing others. 5. We didn't use the bathtub, as we were concerned about altitude sickness, and honestly, grown men don't typically use them much. I have to mention, though, that even though disposable tub liners were provided, there were dead midges (large male mosquitoes) in the tub. I don't really blame the hotel for this; if you open the balcony door, midges are naturally attracted to light and will come into the room. 6. The vanity area was a big plus! They provided face masks and warm eye masks, which was perfect as my companion had some sunburn. The face mask was medical-grade, and I looked it up online – about 10 yuan each. There were also three compressed disposable towels, great if you don't want to use the hotel's bath towels or are a germaphobe. The hotel's consideration in this area was very thoughtful. Thumbs up. 7. After the surrounding businesses turned off their lights around 12:30 AM, light pollution decreased, allowing for stargazing on a clear night. We weren't so lucky; at 3 AM, we only saw stars, no Milky Way. The staff mentioned that August is usually a better time to see it, so keep that in mind. 8. I'm no expert on toiletries, but they smelled quite pleasant. 9. Breakfast included two small dishes of preserved vegetables, eggs, sausages, rice noodles, dragon fruit, small steamed buns, etc., with unlimited refills. The rice noodles were a bit bland, so remember to add salt and other seasonings yourself. 10. The location is decent, and it's convenient for dining. This isn't a professional review, and I didn't take many photos inside the hotel, so just bear with it."

The air conditioning was incredibly effective at heating, warming up the room instantly even late at night. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and functional, making for a truly great stay. **Hygiene:** The entire place was spotless, with attention paid to every detail. The bedding and towels were clean and odor-free, making for a reassuring and comfortable stay. **Environment:** Boasting stunning views of Lugu Lake, it's tranquil and elegant. Waking up to such a beautiful view, away from the hustle and bustle, truly set a wonderful mood. **Service:** I absolutely have to commend our butler, Zhaxi! He greeted us warmly despite our late arrival, proactively turned on the heating to warm up the room, and was attentive and responsive to all our requests, making us feel right at home. **Afternoon Tea:** The selection was rich and exquisite, and the taste was on point. Enjoying it with the lake view was incredibly pleasant and rejuvenating. **Snacks:** Thoughtfully chosen and delicious, they were satisfying and filling, showing great attention to detail. **Minibar:** Fully stocked with drinks and snacks, and regularly replenished, making for a superb overall stay."

"I spotted this place on Trip.com and fell in love with its window view at first sight, and it truly is beautiful! It really gave me that 'facing the sea, warm and blossoming' feeling. As soon as I arrived and parked, the staff came to greet me. Even though the little tricycle they use feels very down-to-earth, haha, their attitude was absolutely fantastic! **Environment:** The room is stunning, like something out of a painting. It's not just me; my friends said the same thing and complimented my booking! Pictures one and five show the hotel's views. **Cleanliness:** The room is very spacious, and the cleanliness is good. **Service:** Beyond their excellent attitude, this is the first hotel I've ever seen that provides face masks, steam eye masks, makeup remover wipes, AND a hair straightener! That’s incredibly thoughtful – the hair straightener really surprised me. They also offer a complimentary travel photoshoot with three retouched photos, which turned out really well. Such great value! Finally, I have to mention eating breakfast by the glass window – it just made life feel complete. Totally worth it, I'll definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends!"

"Before my stay, Dazhi actively reached out, sharing various travel tips. I actually arrived early and it was my second visit, but Dazhi from the service team still kept checking in. The hotel's layout is well-designed, clean, and hygienic, with excellent service. It's very convenient to get to by car. Paying over 700 during Chinese New Year felt like a great deal. I've stayed at several Indigo hotels and haven't had a bad experience yet, so I've built a certain level of trust in the brand. The only minor issues were that the hotel's organized activities weren't very clear, and the staff coordination felt a bit disjointed, possibly because it's a new hotel. Breakfast was delicious 😋 but dinner was just okay. These are minor flaws though; overall, it was a fantastic stay."

The previous one didn't have adequate heating, so I quickly searched for another place on Trip.com, and to my surprise, I stumbled upon a real gem. The service was absolutely impeccable. The staff directly helped me transfer my luggage from the previous hotel, saving me a significant amount of time and making my trip incredibly smooth. Knowing I get cold easily, they turned on the heating for me while I was out, and returning to a warm room was genuinely heartwarming. What moved me even more was that a staff member, even after their shift ended late at night, was willing to help me dry my clothes. The next morning, they thoughtfully delivered breakfast to my room. After checking out, I realized I had left something in my room, and they promptly brought it to me. To receive this level of service at this price point, I honestly wanted to tip them. To every staff member who assisted me, you all worked so hard, and I'm truly grateful for such a wonderful stay. The room itself was also outstanding. The previous hotel, which was even more expensive, didn't have facilities as complete as this one. The value for money here is truly first-class; the heating is incredibly effective. I could wear just a T-shirt and shorts in the room at night and still feel perfectly warm. The room was clean and comfortable, making for a very reassuring stay. If any friends come to Lugu Lake in the future, I will undoubtedly recommend they stay here!"

"My friend had just left Lugu Lake when I brought my wife to visit. I went straight with my friend's recommendation and stayed at this hotel. The lake view room wasn't expensive during the off-season, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to afford it in peak season. The environment is really nice. The hotel's front entrance faces the street, and the back entrance leads directly to the pier boardwalk. It's so comfortable to sunbathe there. The hotel service is also quite good. Breakfast is served until 10 am, and there's a butler service as well. They gave great recommendations for food and activities. We rented a car and circled Lugu Lake twice in two days. We were lucky to have good weather. It was more fun than Dali."

Built right by the water, it enjoys a unique geographical advantage, situated just 5 meters from the lake. From our room balcony, we could take in the magnificent scenery of Lugu Lake. It's also very close to Daluoshui Pier, where you can opt for a leisurely boat ride on a pig-trough boat to explore the lake. Upon entering the hotel, we were immediately struck by its incredibly warm and inviting ambiance. The decor was very pleasing, instantly putting us at ease. The owner's decorating style perfectly matched my aesthetic. In the public tea area, or at the hotel lobby's cafe, you can enjoy coffee and drinks with the owner and other guests. The amenities are comprehensive and of high quality. The bedding was exceptionally clean, soft, and comfortable, making our stay very pleasant. The hotel is equipped with smart home systems throughout, offering convenience and thoughtful touches. They use deep-sleep zero-memory pillows, down duvets, and very comfortable mattresses. The freshly made rice noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive to every detail. We felt right at home and comfortable during our entire stay! We'll definitely be back!"
