"Probably the largest hotel in Xiahe. It's a short walk to Labrang Monastery. There's no air conditioning, which might be because it doesn't get hot here in the summer. They said they had floor heating, but it wasn't turn-on yet when we checked in, and it got a bit chilly after the rain. The hotel has a restaurant, and you can order dinner, though I found it a bit pricey – I guess that's common for tourist spots. Breakfast was decent, and the cleanliness was acceptable. Overall, I didn't feel like there were any major downsides."

"The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were really helpful and even drove us to the bus station on our last day. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the location was great for visiting the monastery, if a bit far from town. The only issue was it was a bit noisy from other guests, but I imagine this is due to the traditional style of the building. Even knowing that, we would stay again!"

"As our journey around Gannan drew to a close in Xiahe, I found myself only concerned with cleanliness when choosing accommodations, which rarely met my expectations. However, this guesthouse, which I hadn't held out much hope for, exceeded my expectations in every way. It was spotless, the kettle looked brand new, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the room was completely odor-free. The service was also outstanding; they proactively upgraded our room, helped with our luggage, and even offered extra bottled water when they learned we were dining in the room. It was excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I visit Xiahe."

"We rushed directly from Aba to check in near Lapuleng Monastery. This B&B is right opposite the Lapuleng Monastery, which is very convenient for visiting the temple the next day. It's a newly opened B&B and not easy to find. After calling, the owner drove over to show us the way. The disposable toiletries were good. The room was newly renovated, odorless, and very quiet. The owner recommended Jiang Meili Hot Pot nearby, where we had a local specialty yak beef hot pot. The portion was quite large and delicious. 😋 Overall, this B&B is quite good and worth staying in."

"This time I stayed at this newly opened hotel and the overall experience was very satisfactory. The hotel environment is brand new and clean, the decoration style is modern and elegant, from the spacious and bright lobby to the comfortable and quiet rooms, every place is spotless, the bedding is white and soft, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry and clean, and there is no dust in the corner. What is even more rare is that there is no pungent smell of new decoration at all, and the stay is particularly safe. The service is also remarkable, the front desk staff is warm and efficient, not only quickly when checking in, but also introduced the surrounding food and play routes in detail; The room attendant cleaned it in time every day, replenishing mineral water and toiletries was unambiguous; when checking out, the staff specially sent two bottles of water to drink on the road, and sincerely asked about the accommodation experience, the details made people feel warm. All in all, this new hotel is impeccable in cleanliness, service quality and location, and the price is very high. I will definitely stay again next time and I will sincerely recommend it to all friends."

"I had a truly unique and enjoyable stay at this campsite. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but there was also so much to do. During the day, you step right out into vast grasslands with beautiful scenery everywhere you look – perfect for stunning photos. In the evenings, the campsite comes alive with lively bonfire parties, creating a fantastic atmosphere. At night, you can gaze up at a sky full of stars; the view is incredibly open. "The hotel is currently getting renovated so every room on our level was getting drilled and sawed and hammered. The room smelled very strongly of sewage. Upon arrival, there was a towel with dried blood/booger hanging in the bathroom. The bathroom didn't have soap so we had to use the shower gel to wash hands. Pros: The older reception lady spoke English. The location is next to the monastery."
