Cheap Hotels in Hurghada

"The Hotel was 20mins drive to Hurghada Marina. It did not have a beach front view as it is a second row to the other Steigenberger complex. The pools and lazy river were super clean and beautiful. The food was average but good compared to all inclusive resorts. We were inconvenienced with our room keys as they didn’t work for couple of times and had to wait half an hour outside the room and our room far from the front desk. The room had a steady cooling temperature so don’t expect to get a cooler temperature to your liking. The room didn’t have an iron or iron board. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang our clothes. There was no tissue box. No laundry bag. The elevator stopped working and didn’t get repaired for two days."

"Very good location and has access to the blue club Beach we didn’t try the breakfast as there were multiple choices around to eat from. However, the staff that cleanness of the rooms are very good. I would recommend recommended for a couple of days for people who wants to be next to the restaurants and the marine. Definitely worth the price. The price on Trip.com is way cheaper than the other prices on the hotel itself. The rooftop restaurants has an amazing view and very clean."

"Facilities: Excellent. The Wi-Fi is super fast! They have European standard sockets. There's also a gym, swimming pool, and more. Cleanliness: Spotless. It's cleaned daily. Service: Good, the staff are all pretty friendly and helpful."

"The Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes. We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along. There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus). The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet). Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort."

"The room was quite large, but it was still a corner room. It felt like an inescapable curse; no matter how much you pay, you're destined for a corner. The only thing that made me feel warm was the cleaning guy at the door, who genuinely smiled and provided polite service. This was one of those all-inclusive packages, but since we were only staying one night and leaving the next morning, we didn't have that option. The room was full of Europeans. It felt like their vacation paradise. To get a pair of plastic slippers, I again had to rely on Ctrip. The hotel called, arranged for someone to come, but the final result was that I had to go to the small shop across the street to buy a pair myself. When checking out, the front desk staff even questioned me about why I called their boss, saying they hadn't told me what to do. They said I could come to the front desk if I had any questions. I said, ”Why should I walk all this way to ask you?” Oh well."

"Our vacation was great, with a beautiful reef, lots of fish, and plenty to do. The service was good. The rooms are nice, but only the new ones. The older part of the hotel made a worse impression. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't inform us about the extensive renovations, so the drills and other noises significantly disturbed our relaxation. The service was super, the staff deserve a medal!"

"We stayed in Jaz hotel for 4 days in early April in a deluxe pool-view queen room. Positives: - The hotel is situated in a very convenient location, on the touristic promenade and quite close to the airport.  - The pools are great, the hotels has in total 6 pools and even though we sometimes had difficulty finding an empty spot to sit at the main pool, we could always find a spot on the other pools where the atmosphere was equally amazing and very relaxing. - The restaurant quality is top notch, one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had anywhere, with a big variety across the different days, along with a focus on egyptian food and seafood, which i appreciated. The restaurant’s head chef himself supervised the dinner serving and gave us daily recommendations. Negatives: - The staff is helpful but not as overtly friendly and willing to help as we had experienced in other hotels. Service can sometimes be quite slow. - The room furniture, even though it’s modern, looks a bit used and is not very well maintained. - The rooms are clean, but again not at the same level of cleanliness you would expect at this price level. - Internet speed is quite low (2-3 Mbps), so no streaming possible - There are daily nightly entertainment programs, however, they are not as varied or extensive as other hotels i had experienced. I got the impression that the hotel is more targeted towards older travelers who prefer the peace and quiet and don’t care about nightly activities, but it may be because of the time of the year I visited in. Overall, it was a good experience and the negatives I listed can be considered nitpicky, but honestly, at this price level, I would expect a flawless experience and I have had better experiences at this price level in Hurghada. The only clear positive for Jaz is the quality of the restaurant."

"Very satisfactory hotel, the service is timely and in place. I was not very satisfied with the location of the sea view room I booked, so after some communication, I upgraded to a pool room. The beach is beautiful with its own beach and two public swimming pools. Mostar, the butler, was enthusiastic and attentive. He took us to watch the sunset on the second afternoon of our stay. The hotel also prepared wine, drinks and snacks. There was a free aperitif with live music on Monday night. The breakfast and dinner were rich. The oil massage was great, the masseuse was Thai. Super high value for money, worth coming again!"

"The hotel is clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely garden view which made the stay feel calm and relaxing. The environment is very peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The food selection offers a wide variety of choices. However, the taste was a bit below our expectations—possibly because we are not very used to the local flavors. That said, there were still options available for everyone. What we enjoyed the most was the beach. The long bridge walkway stretching out into the sea was beautiful and a highlight of our stay. Walking along it and being able to see fish and even turtles in the clear water was truly a special experience. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature, especially if you love the sea and a peaceful atmosphere."

"Staff.10/10. Ahmed Fawzy is Amazing, Mahmood and Ahmed(frontdesk), are Excellent. 9 nights, Great Breakfast,(omlettes..perfect). Pool,Great,..Suites are Roomy,FirmBeds, Not a Family Holiday place, Shops easy walking.I walked from Airport T1 to Jaz. Easy, if you are confident . Okay...so, the lift was under service for 2 days, and The Baladis' will annoy light sleepers. Busy Roads adjacent. I love it here, And am back in March.Cant Wait to see all my Friends Again.
