Leonardo Hotel Exeter ★★★★
"I stayed with my partner for 2 nights, and it was an enjoyable stay. The beds are very comfortable, but duvets are too hot for this time of year. The shower is awkward and and is a bit small but good pressure. The overall space of the room is great for the size."
Exeter Court Hotel ★★★
"Wish the room had aircon! All staff brilliant. Will definitely revisit. Perfect for our 2 day stay for a wedding nearby. Food in restaurant excellent"
Holiday Inn Express EXETER - CITY CENTRE by IHG ★★★
"The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are well-equipped. The location is excellent, making it convenient to walk to various parts of the city center. The only downside is that the parking fee is too expensive. It would be perfect if the parking were more affordable."
Hotel du Vin Exeter ★★★★
"The room was spacious with a beautiful view from the window! The service was excellent, and it was very close to the St. Luke's campus! The environment was clean and hygienic, with a bathroom and toilet! The space was very large!!"
White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns ★★★
"Great stay. Helpful staff"
Premier Inn Exeter City Centre ★★★
"The room and hotel itself is clean and good. Very cosy and location is near city centre."
The Gissons Hotel ★★★
"Arrived to finger no bar and no restaurant as the hotel is under renovation. On arrival at reception was a note asking you to phone a number to get some one to check you in. After a wzit someone arrived. Rooms not ready and supervisor chastising staff for not doing job correctly. 3 rooms offered. Each day I adhered to the towel change policy however they weren't changed and I had to go find staff to change them. Apparently their drier had broken down. The final room itself was adequate. Free parking and multiple charging points."
Mill on the Exe ★★★★
"We had booked for one night - would have been great to stay longer. The room was really lovely - spacious with a view of the river. Food was good - we had lunch and dinner there - and we had a really good night's sleep in the extremely comfortable bed."
Premier Inn Exeter Central St Davids ★★★
"An excellent location just over the road from the train station. All you need for a clean and comfortable stay with nice staff and a good selection of food both at breakfast and dinner. The meal package is excellent value"

Lord Haldon Country Hotel,Sure Hotel Collection B
"We had a fantastic meal at the Haldon last night well priced great location Paul and his team looked after us all night nothing was to much trouble well worth a visit great selection of meals and very well cooked and presented. We will be returning in the future a great place for locals' the bar area is well stocked with a great selection of drinks."
City Gate
"Lovely stay at the City Gate hotel; great location and room was lovely! Nice bar area and good food in the pub too."
The Devon Hotel
"Checkin could have been better, had to fill all details on tablet but these details already provided on booking I presume. Good food service, nice steak. Convenient for our appointment next morning nearby. Would probably stay again if in the area."
St Andrews Hotel
"Overall good experience, however it was surprising to see no handwashing liquid at the bathroom sink. I had to use the body wash as an alternative."
Travelodge Exeter M5
"On arrival at Travelodge M5 Exeter I discovered that I had booked the wrong date, I was a week early and the hotel was fully booked. Carla, a sympathetic, efficient and helpful receptionist found us a room at another travelodge for an extra £40 charge. I was very grateful for her kind assistance as she really helped me out when I was very tired after a long drive. Carla is a wonderful ambassador for travelodge hotels."
The Exeter Inn
"Quaint old pub. A mile out of town. Bedroom very clean & well equipped. Dinner & breakfast no more than average."
South View Lodges
"This location ticked all our boxes when booking: fishing holiday for husband's 50th, relaxing for me with hot tub and quiet location. Jill and Andrew were welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble (not that we had many queries). First let me stay considering it is so close to Exeter. Although opened 2 years ago, the decor was as pristine as the website images. Both bedrooms were beautifully decorated, with comfy beds and en-suite bathrooms and had underfloor heating throughout the property. The lounge, dining area and kitchen were all nicely decorated and had everything that you needed for the comforts from home. The outside seating and hot tub were undercover so even when it did rain, we could enjoy it still. The fishing was everything my husband hoped for, catching 10+ fish each day. And to add to our enjoyment, we had alpacas in the field next to us. They came to watch us each day and we took advantage to go feed them one day: the boys, the girls and the babies. All too cute, and an Devon Show Awarding male as well! A treat. A great holiday and everything we wanted from it! "
The Telstar
"Have been here a couple of time now and as always made to feel very welcome as part of one big family"
Southernhay House Hotel
"A lovely break with my best friend, and it was excellent from start to finish. Staff here are an asset for sure, very welcoming and we felt really looked after. Loved our room and the style of the whole place. Great location and so convenient for the centre. Our room was above the bar, but noise was minimal and not too late in any event. Classy, thoughtful and we loved it. Tasty breakfast too. Highly recommended!"
Townhouse Exeter
"Behind us is David's Church and a small area of tombstones. It was a bit scary to see them when we arrived at night, but I participated in church activities during the day, and understood the local culture. I also found the culture shock quite interesting. In the following days, I would walk through the cemetery to take a shortcut."
The Exeter Inn
"The food was fine and the service OK, but be aware that the menu and pricing are nothing like what’s on their website. We went in based on what we saw on the website, and the menu was much more limited than we expected (themed nights), and the food somewhat more expensive."
Springwell Lodge
The Globe
"The location and friendly, helpful staff were excellent. The food quality was as good as the most expensive restaurants we have dined at. The price of the food was less than charged by many other restaurants. Well done The Globe,we will return."
The Nobody Inn
"Possibly the best Sunday dinner I've had that wasn't made by my wife. The Nobody Inn is a regular for us whenever we are in that part of the world and once again it didn't disappoint us. Great food, great service, lovely setting and reasonably priced as well. 10/10"
The Ley Arms
"Lovely room . Fantastic shower . Huge comfy bed . Lots of thoughtful touches in the room . Great breakfast and excellent service .Pretty village - convenient for Exeter . We were running late and they were very helpful allowing us to order dinner before checking in etc ."
