Leonardo Hotel Exeter ★★★★

📍 Western Wy, Exeter

"I stayed with my partner for 2 nights, and it was an enjoyable stay. The beds are very comfortable, but duvets are too hot for this time of year. The shower is awkward and and is a bit small but good pressure. The overall space of the room is great for the size."

Holiday Inn Express EXETER - CITY CENTRE by IHG ★★★

📍 Tudor St, Exeter

"The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are well-equipped. The location is excellent, making it convenient to walk to various parts of the city center. The only downside is that the parking fee is too expensive. It would be perfect if the parking were more affordable."

The Gissons Hotel
7.9 (90 reviews)

The Gissons Hotel ★★★

📍 Exeter Road, Exeter, Exeter

"Arrived to finger no bar and no restaurant as the hotel is under renovation. On arrival at reception was a note asking you to phone a number to get some one to check you in. After a wzit someone arrived. Rooms not ready and supervisor chastising staff for not doing job correctly. 3 rooms offered. Each day I adhered to the towel change policy however they weren't changed and I had to go find staff to change them. Apparently their drier had broken down. The final room itself was adequate. Free parking and multiple charging points."

Travelodge Exeter M5 Hotels in Exeter

Travelodge Exeter M5

"On arrival at Travelodge M5 Exeter I discovered that I had booked the wrong date, I was a week early and the hotel was fully booked. Carla, a sympathetic, efficient and helpful receptionist found us a room at another travelodge for an extra £40 charge. I was very grateful for her kind assistance as she really helped me out when I was very tired after a long drive. Carla is a wonderful ambassador for travelodge hotels."

"This  location ticked all our boxes when booking: fishing holiday for husband's 50th, relaxing for me with hot tub and quiet location. Jill and Andrew were welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble (not that we had many queries). First let me stay considering it is so close to Exeter. Although opened 2 years ago, the decor was as pristine as the website images. Both bedrooms were beautifully decorated, with comfy beds and en-suite bathrooms and had underfloor heating throughout the property. The lounge, dining area and kitchen were all nicely decorated and had everything that you needed for the comforts from home. The outside seating  and hot tub were undercover so even when it did rain, we could enjoy it still.  The fishing was everything my husband hoped for, catching 10+ fish each day.  And to add to our enjoyment, we had alpacas in the field next to us. They came to watch us each day and we took advantage to go feed them one day: the boys, the girls and the babies. All too cute, and an Devon Show Awarding male as well! A treat. A great holiday and everything we wanted from it! "

Exeter Court Hotel ★★★
"Our driver stays in hotels all over the UK while transporting vehicles for our business, and he says this is by far one of the best places he stays. The hotel is consistently very clean, the service from the staff is excellent, and everything is well organised and comfortable. A major advantage for us is the parking. It is very convenient for larger vehicles, and our driver is able to park a truck and trailer without difficulty, which is not always easy to find when travelling for work. Because of this, whenever we have jobs in the Exeter area, this is always the hotel he prefers to stay at. Highly recommended and we will definitely continue using it whenever we are in the area."

Mill on the Exe ★★★★
"We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Mill on the Exe whilst in town for the Women’s Rugby World Cup. The quiet location along the river offers easy access to the path into Flowerpot Park as well as fairly direct access to St. Bartholomew’s and the High Street via the Barbican Steps. The on site parking in a small private terrace was part of our reason for booking initially, but we were satisfied on all fronts. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a window looking out on the Exe and a cozy aesthetic. The staff were always excellent and accommodating, providing logistics help when we needed to print updated parking passes for the rugby matches and greeting us warmly throughout. Housekeeping even double checked with us that we had fresh milk in the mini-fridge to accompany any tea or coffee we made in the room. We ate breakfast each day in the restaurant, served by the always friendly and efficient Nick, and found each dish delicious. (Our favorites were the smoked salmon toast and the smashed avocado toast, but the full English was also excellent.) On the final night of our stay, we made a reservation for dinner and enjoyed Sunday roast dinner as well as their absolute top of the line sticky toffee pudding, with friendly service and good recommendations by Cicely. We would absolutely recommend a stay at the Mill—as well as their dining experience—if you’re visiting Exeter."
