Cheap Hotels in Nairobi

"The hotel is as a transfer station about my safaris tour for me to stay in nairobi.First,it include the spa,self-restaurant,gym(the gym has the richest sporting equipment at all the hotels I have ever lived for )and swimming pool.second,It has a security method you need to accept the check about the thing you carry-in and let your baggage through the x-ray that enter the hotel ensure the safety about customers.third, although the style of the room is old and feel you back to 1990s,but feel really classy and gentle about the style of the room, and you sit in the balcony you could appreciate the scenery of the nairobi CBD. finally, for the another part,it is the only i feel not well about the hotel is the foods in the restaurant is not rich as I think at first, because the price for a person for dinner is over 20usd but its foods is a little monotonous.suggest adding local specialty cuisine In conclusion, the hotel is better than i think before i live for it,it is really worth to live in it,and the servers in the hotel is really friendly and hospitality"

"Everything is well appointed. Staffs - whether it is at the reception counter, the pick-up drivers or the staffs at the restaurant were all friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean, some with a view of the garden and swimming pool. The free pick-up service was from airport was great too! While it's locaiton is closed to the airport (6-7 mins. by car) but there is really not much to see and go near the hotel. Another thing is that despite there is Netflix and YouTube on the TV, the Netflix is not accessible - on both occassions when I stayed there. It went to the Netflix log-in page but then it just stucked there and no response doesn't matter what button is pressed on the remote control"

"This is a really nice hotel in the Commercial Business District. The best thing about here is the breakfast which has a really nice spread including an egg station, beef/chicken sausages, and pancakes. I also used the gym frequently where they provided towels and water. Everyone was always so friendly. While it is centrally located, it’s not the safest neighborhood at night - during the day it seemed fine (but you must always take care of your phone). We didn’t mind it because we were always out and when we came back to the hotel, we never left again each night."

"I’m having a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with the metro just a short walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city. The room is spotless, comfortable and has a beautiful view. I am also impressed by how friendly, welcoming, and helpful the front desk staff were. Overall a great experience and I would happily stay here again!"

"My wife and I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a much-needed staycation at the Swiss-Belinn Hotel, and I’m thrilled to share just how phenomenal our experience was. A great stay is made by three things: comfort, food, and service, and the Swiss-Belinn knocked all three out of the park. The Foundation of Comfort: Top-Notch Cleanliness I want to start with something that truly stood out: the cleanliness. The hygiene and tidiness across the entire property were absolutely top-notch. Our room was immaculate spotless, fresh, and welcoming making it instantly feel like a safe and relaxing sanctuary. This level of attention to detail and care is the foundation of a great stay, and the housekeeping team deserves massive credit. The Taste of Excellence: let’s talk about the food. It wasn't just good; it was genuinely amazing. Every single meal was a memorable experience. The culinary team clearly operates with passion and expertise. From the beautifully prepared breakfast spread to the delicious evening dining, the quality, flavor, and creativity of the dishes were outstanding. It made every moment of our staycation feel like a special occasion. The Heart of the Hotel: Dedicated and Professional Staffs. To the entire team at Swiss-Belinn, thank you. You are the heart of this hotel. We were consistently impressed by how committed and dedicated every staff member was. Whether we were interacting with the front desk, the restaurant servers, or the support staff, we were met with genuine smiles and proactive assistance. You are all incredible professionals who handle every situation with grace and efficiency. "I booked this hotel two months in advance, paying 980 RMB per night including breakfast. However, on the day I checked in, my colleague found the price was 580 RMB per night with breakfast. Early check-in cost an extra $30. I appreciated that the power outlets were universal Chinese type, so I didn't need an adapter. The breakfast offered steamed buns, noodles, and chopsticks. While it was nothing special, it was decent enough. The outdoor seating at the restaurant was very comfortable. On the downside, the room facilities were outdated, and the hygiene was just average. There was a strange smell from the wardrobe and the sink, and some areas were quite dirty. On the positive side, the staff were all very nice. If the price had been under 500 RMB per night, I would have found it acceptable. But paying nearly 1000 RMB per night, I felt like I got a raw deal."

"Pros: Not far from the highway exit, breakfast has a good variety, and it's safe to run outside in the morning with fresh air. Cons: The lunch buffet is expensive with limited options, and the gym was closed."
